National governments have been makeing significant attempts to make theirits services and information available on the Internet. However, the success of these efforts depends, to a great extent, on how well the targeted users for such services, citizens in general, make use of them. For this reason, the purpose of the presented study was to identify what factors could affect the citizens' adoption of e-government services, analyzing the case of Romania. According to the UN e-government survey conducted in 2008, Romania comes under mid range countries by utilization of e-government (percent of utilization 37%). Romania’s national portal www.e-guvernare.ro aims at progressively making all services and information accessible through the portal. The study is an extension of the Technology Acceptance Model. The proposed model was validated using data collected from 481 citizens. The results provided substantial support for most all proposed hypotheses and showed the significance of the extended constructs.

In 2004 the campus information system began to use the internet as an academic tool between students, lecturers, study programs, finance. In the system, there are several models of communication processes built, one of which is the existence of facilities for the content and values of staff, in addition to announcements, academics, finance, and college approval. To find out the causal relationship between the factors that influence the level of campus student acceptance for users. This research includes Exploration research using the Technology Acceptance Model, expenditure using AMOS software. In the Normal Ranking Table, you can see the value in column c.r. All in the recommended amount from -2.58 to 2.58. Therefore, it can be announced that the data is normally distributed, Mahalanobis d-squared assesses that there is nothing greater than the table, which means that it is not an outlier and the determinant value of the covariance matrix obtained is 51345,276 far from zero, it can be concluded that there are no multicollinearity and singularity problems in the analyzed data iso that the data is declared valid. Based on the Final Research Model, it can be accepted that the benefit variable requires acceptance of campus students. After utilizing comfort, take advantage when using. Based ion this phenomenon, it can be used, the use of "voluntary" technology that is used using codes of conduct, attitudes, and intentions in an application. In this case, it can be concluded that respondents "voluntarily" use.

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors which affect e-government services adoption of Tunisian's citizens by using a technology acceptance model (TAM). The proposed conceptual model was extended by adding social influence, awareness, and quality of internet connection. The proposed model was empirically tested using survey data provided by 150 respondents and was analyzed using a structural equation model (SEM). The findings indicate that the proposed model is a stable model and a good explanatory. Perceived usefulness is predicted mutually by social influence and awareness. Moreover, perceived ease of use is predicted by quality of internet connection. This study contributes to the literature by providing a new research model for understanding e-government services adoption in Tunisia and its findings provide useful guidelines to develop policies and strategies to increase the adoption of e-government services.

This research reviews studies using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to create a modified model and instrument to study the acceptance of Internet technology by consumers. We developed a modified TAM for the acceptance of Internet-based technologies by consumers. We retained the original constructs from the TAM and included additional constructs from previous literature including gender, experience, complexity, and voluntariness. We developed a survey instrument using existing scales from prior TAM instruments and modified them where appropriate. The instrument yielded respectable reliability and construct validity. The findings suggest that the modified TAM is a good predictor of consumer behavior in using the Internet. We found that attitude toward using the Internet acts as a strong predictor of behavioral intention to use, and actual usage of Internet technologies. Future researchers can use the resultant instrument to test how consumers adopt and accept Internet-based applications.

The explosion of Internet usage has drawn the attention of researchers towards online Social Networks Marketing (SNM). Research has shown that a number of the Internet users are distrustful and indecisive, when it comes to the use of social networks marketing system. Therefore, there is a need for researchers to identify some of the factors that determine users’ acceptance of social networks marketing using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study extended the Technology Acceptance Model theoretical framework to predict consumer acceptance of social networks marketing within Western Cape Province of South Africa. The research model was tested using data collected from 470 questionnaires and analysed using linear regression. The results showed that user intentions to use SNM are strongly and positively correlated with user acceptance of using SNM systems. Empirical results confirmed that perceived credibility and perceived usefulness are the strongest determinant in predicting user intentions to use SNM system.

Young people was active users of the information technology, especially internet. Even some of them tend to make the internet as a medium of the main support daily activities. These study indicate that internet use among young people, especially college student tend to have a model of its own behavior, making it attractive for further investigation. These study focus on the influence of perceived enjoyment as variables anticedent in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The respondents of these study were college student as internet users in Yogyakarta, the province is considering a student city. These study conducted on 130 respondents. According to the structural analysis with SEM method, shows that perceive enjoyment has a role as anticedent variable on TAM, because those variable has significant effects on variables in technology acceptance model.

Information Technology has long been a well-known research area, but this changed considerably when the Internet became prominent just over a decade ago. Many researchers have studied and proposed theories and models of Technology Acceptance in order to predict and explain user behaviour with technology to account for rapid change in both technologies themselves and their environments. Each theory or model has been proposed with different sets of determinants and moderators. More importantly, most of the research has been conducted in the U.S. Therefore, it is questioned whether the technology acceptance models and theories that have been developed, modified, and extended in the U.S. can be used in other regions such as South East Asia and more specifically in Thailand. It is questioned whether there might be other determinants and moderators that also play important roles in this specific environment. This research study has seven objectives, of which five have already been achieved. From the findings, despite the fact that academics hardly used the Internet (used a few times a month) for teaching in class and providing a personal Web-Base for facilitating teaching, they intended to use it more (a few times a week) in the future. On the contrary, at the time of the survey, they used the Internet rather often (five to six times a week) for enhancing teaching knowledge, searching information for their research, personal tasks, enhancing personal knowledge, and using email for personal contact. Significantly, no matter how often they currently used the Internet, they all intended to use the Internet more often in all type of tasks in the future. With respect to motivation to make full use of the Internet in their work, they not only ‘quite agree’ that if good facilities were available to support usage (e.g. good computer hardware and software, good communication network etc.) this would motivate them, but they also thought that their strong intentions for providing student contacts, the university’ policy to be Research Oriented and become an e-University in the future, also play an important role in motivating them to make full use of the Internet in their work. On the contrary, the availability of technicians and Internet training motivated them less. They also thought that using the Internet helped improve their professional practice (such as teaching in class, preparing teaching materials, research, and administrative tasks), and helped improve personal developments (such as improving their academic and personal knowledge) and helped improve their quality of working life (such as saving their expense e.g. searching Information from e-Journal and Websites and using email in communication with others). Nevertheless, in respect of improving quality of working life and helping them have more time for leisure and creative thinking, they simply ‘slightly agreed’. With these findings, it is interesting to investigate deeply about academics ’behaviour and intention. Five core constructs (determinants) were examined including perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, social influence, self-efficacy, and facilitating conditions together with moderators such as gender, age, experience, and some cultural aspects of whether these constructs influenced academic’s behaviour. Survey research methodology (questionnaire and semi-structured interviews) were used to collect primary data from Business Schools in Thailand, and the survey yielded 455 usable questionnaires. Structural Equation Modelling with AMOS is also being used to analyse data and is expected to provide evidence to generate the Technology Acceptance Model that is both substantively meaningful and statistically well-fitting(Byrne 2001, 2006) . By generating the Technology Acceptance Model in accordance with the main research objectives, it is expected that the generated research model will have the power to explain/predict Internet acceptance and usage behaviour. A thorough understanding of the model may help practitioners to analyse the reasons for resistance toward the technology and would also help to take efficient measures to improve user acceptance and usage of the technology (Davis, 1989).

The purpose of this paper is to investigate a comprehensive model of international tourists’ intentions to use mobile food information (MFI). The study compares the intentions of independent tourists and package tourists focusing on the influences of mobile design qualities and tourists’ perceptions. The model is based on the technology acceptance model. The results revealed that the proposed model more efficiently predicted intention in groups of independent tourists than in groups of package tour. Furthermore, there are some differences between these groups. The proposed model could contribute to future collaboration between tourist agents and mobile-based developers to achieve the implementation of MFI.

This study examined the moderating effect of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) communications on the relationship between the perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) of mobile government services and the intention to use mobile government services. The Technology Acceptance Model was used as the theoretical framework and the data analysis was done with SPSS. The results have shown that there was a significant moderating impact of eWOM on both the relationship between PU and PEOU and the intention to use mobile government services. In addition, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of mobile government service were significant in determining the intention to use mobile government services. Also, PEOU was found to be a determinant of the PU of mobile government services. The implications of these findings are discussed.

This study explored the impact of political trust on the adoption of e-government services in China. The data for this study was generated through a research questionnaire instrument. The technology acceptance model (TAM) was used as the theoretical framework for the study while the analysis was done with SPSS. The results indicated that political trust is a significant predictor of the intention to use e-government services. The results also demonstrated that whilst political trust was not significant in predicting the perceived usefulness of e-government services, it was significant in determining the perceived ease of use of e-government services. In addition, this study has shown that political trust has a significant moderating effect on both the impact of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on the intention to use e-government services. The implications of these findings are discussed.
