Rapidly growing urbanization and increasing population in all over the world, causing dynamic increase in the amount of waste disposal. Dumping of waste has become a matter of concern all over the world because of the threat to the environment. There comes the pivotal role of the automatic waste segregation system which avoid this unfortunate situation and it also reduces the difficulty of recycling. Currently there is no such system for segregation of metal, dry, and wet waste. This work proposes a On spot automatic waste segregation system that gives the solution to this problem. The benefits of this work are, high potential for waste recovery and the occupational hazards of waste separating workers also reduces.

The quantity and age of the incoming stream of “feedstock” from product take-back systems are known as the major sources of the uncertainty that complicates the e-waste recovery. This paper presents the results of an analysis of data from an incoming stream for an e-waste collection center and analyzes the quantity and age of e-waste by product type and brand. The analysis results point out receiving of outdated products and processing of multiple generations, and brands of products at the same time are among main obstacles to the e-waste recovery. The potential role of product design in overcoming those obstacles is discussed with emphasis on design for upgrade, repurpose, and commonality.

Forensic nursing science is a developing at a fast pace in the developed countries of the world and the forensic nurses have gained valuable roles in the different departments. Mortuary services are often in a state of neglect in the developing countries especially the postmortem examination. Mainly this is due to lack of assistance to forensic physicians by educated and trained professionals. Forensic nurses can do a variety of roles to improve the functioning of the mortuaries. Role of forensic nurses in the postmortem examination and upkeep of the mortuaries is essential and it is emphasized that forensic nurses can play a very pivotal role in the functioning of the mortuaries.

Electronic Media like Radio and Television is an effective tool of communication as for as the democratic or other modern societies are concerned. A Province like Balochistan where population is scattered and distances between human settlements are far away from each other, the pivotal role of distance electronic media cannot be ignored. now, with the emergence of satellite channels which are viewed in every nook and corner of the world, the overlapping of ideas, effects of one society to another and hegemony of stronger nations, their languages and civilizations can affect negatively to the weaker and smaller nations and there is need to counter and defuse the negative effects of these hegemonic designs, Balochistan has a multilingual and multi-cultural society; people speak different languages and have distinct cultural values, traditions, and taboos. As the language is a major source of interaction with each other, then it is necessary to develop and flourish each and every language which is spoken in Balochistan. The Baloch population may by at large, speak Balochi, Brahui and Sindhi languages. Dozens of newspapers, magazines and Electronic media like Radio, Television as well as social media played a vital role in promotion of Brahui       Apart from these as well as other regional languages.

Achieving waste classification and environmental protection awareness assists in enhancing the rural ecological environment, improves the quality of the rural residents’ life, and augments the rate of reusing resources within the rural setups. In order to study the factors influencing rural waste classification and environmental protection awareness, we conducted a project among rural residents of Jiangsu, China. We used both the logistic regression model and the ordinary least squares model to achieve the goals of this paper. Similarly, we found that the households’ level of education influenced the rural residents’ decision to classify waste and to protect the environment regarding whether a household consists of a village cadre; the availability of public waste collection facilities; the distance between households and the waste collection points; whether the waste is picked, assorted, and collected locally; and the cost of waste disposal. In light of all these factors, we recommended that the authorities should increase the rural residents’ waste classification and environmental protection awareness. Also, through the local government, the national government should strengthen and sustain rural waste disposal funds. Finally, there should be stringent laws and regulations outlining the role of the rural residents regarding waste classification and environmental protection awareness.

COVID-19, or the Coronavirus disease 2019, caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has become a pandemic. At the time of writing this (July 28, 2020), more than 17 million people have become affected and 0.7 million people have died across the world. Remdesivir has shown glimpses of insight into how to fight the virus, but as of yet remain far from victory. Nanotechnology has proven its role in medicine to deliver the drug at the target site with minimal side effects, particularly in the anticancer domain. Most specifically, a range of nanotechnology-based products, such as nanosilver, are currently on the market because they have demonstrated the potential to combat viruses. This article provides an overview of the role of nanomedicine, including polymeric and inorganic materials, and its future capabilities in the management of the disease outbreak. Taking all this into account, an attempt has been made to educate readers in the simplest way of the role of nanomedicine, which can play a pivotal role in the management of diseases.

Waste amounts increased rapidly with economic growth. Not all of the waste generated are collected by municipalities due to their ‘limited’ capacity. Most of the formal waste collection are initiated, managed and operated by community (role of RTs/RWs). Almost of the cities in Indonesia rely on landfilling technology to dispose their waste collected. Land for new waste disposal sites for MSW is becoming difficult. Most of the landfilling process is open dumping. Improvement of waste management is a key focus of the strategy.Some cities may have set a goal of reducing the amount of waste recovery and waste disposed off at the final disposal site in a target year.To achieve this, the city needs to measure based on an action plan that includes both community-based activities and the city government’s efforts to increase waste collection, and to introduce waste separation at home and operation of an intermediate treatment facility for waste reduction. The focus of the strategy should be: 1.How to increase the waste collection rate and services and to improve its quality2.How to increase the waste recovery and to improve the quality of recyclable materials3.How to reduce the uncontrolled waste (and its ‘derivatives’) flows into environment

AbstractThe goal of the paper is to evaluate and analyse changes in selective municipal collection, recycling level, and recovery, of waste. The article indicates the Polish legislation currently in force to systematise the organisation of waste management systems. It presents the participation of selective waste collection in the total municipal waste at the voivodeship scale, as well as changes in the number of individually segregated fractions (i.e. categories of waste segregation) of selectively collected waste in Poland. Moreover, the levels of waste recycling and recovery were analysed for the country’s ten largest cities, while also showing that the cities implement accepted goals of municipal waste recovery. On the example of Warsaw, the structure of collected waste was discussed and attention was paid to the problem of quality of collected waste, which results in it being sent to sorting facilities.

Peat flows, bog flows, or bog bursts consist of a rapid downhill movement of masses of saturated peat. Although this process has been documented from peatlands in other parts of the world, the slope movement described here is the first to be reported from Canadian peatlands. The peat flow took place on the east coast of Kaien Island, near Prince Rupert, British Columbia, and was initiated by a slump in a peat spoil pile. It involved the sudden mobilization of a strip of in situ peat 210 m long and approximately 20 m wide. The peat was fibrous, rich in roots, and had a moisture content of approximately 240%. The flow demonstrates the high potential mobility of natural peat covers and the role of undrained loading in effecting movement of slopes as low as 5°.
