Abstract: As an integral part of the safety and security many organizations, video rental has established its value and benefits many times by providing immediate management of property, people, the environment and property. This project operates in the form of the Embedded Real-Time Surveillance System Based Raspberry Pi SBC for internal detection that enhances monitoring technology to provide critical safety in our lives as well as consistent performance and alert operation. The proposed security solution depends on our integration of cameras and motion detectors into a web application. Raspberry Pi operates and controls motion detectors and video cameras for remote hearing and monitoring, streams streaming video and recording for future playback. This research focuses on the development of a detection system that detects strangers and responds quickly by taking and transferring images to wireless modules based on owners. This Raspberry Pi program based on Smart Surveillance System provides a remote location monitoring concept. The proposed solution provides a fully functional, efficient and easy-to-use global solution. This project will also introduce the concept of motion detection and tracking using image processing. This type of technology is very important when it comes to surveillance and security. The live video stream will be used to show how things can be found and tracked. This paper deals with the diagram strategy of an embedded real-time surveillance gadget based totally on Raspberry-Pi single board computer (SBC) for intruder detection which is reinforcing technology of surveillance to supply fundamental security to our life and associated control and alert operations. The suggested safety solution is hinging on our novel integration of cameras and action detectors into application of web. Raspberry-Pi is operating and controlling action detectors and video cameras for far flung sensing and surveillance, streams live video and files it for future playback. Also, this paper is focusing on growing a surveillance machine that detects strangers and to response speedily through taking pictures and relaying photos to proprietor based totally wireless module. This Raspberry-Pi based clever surveillance machine presents the concept of monitoring a region in a far-flung area. The suggested solution offers a fee advantageous ubiquitous surveillance solution, environment friendly and convenient to implement. Furthermore, the paper presents the idea of motion detection and tracking using image processing. This type of technology is of great importance when it comes to surveillance and security. Live video streams therefore be used to show how objects can be detected then tracked. The detection and tracking process are based on pixel threshold.

The modern technology of video surveillance systems has proved to be the best solution in direct supervision of property, individuals, and the environment. This article addresses the design approach of a smart surveillance system for university library to ensure compliance with library usage rules. The solution proposed for the surveillance system depends on innovative integration of intelligent algorithm, cameras and motion detectors in the web application. An algorithm was created according to the instructions of attending the university library of Al-Nahrain University. This algorithm has the ability to analyze video and extract the effectiveness that does not comply with the library's rules and regulations that the student can do in the library. The PX1-C415 Single Board Computer type is programmed with a smart algorithm and integrated with motion detectors and video cameras to create the proposed system. It has ability for detection, processing and rapid response through capturing images and transferring them to a wireless module on the administrative desk and thus activating the alarm system. The accuracy of the detection algorithm used was 91% for a distance of 1-5 meters. In addition, the admin received the violations with accuracy of 93%. The proposed system offers a perfect solution that is accurate, fast and scalable to support comprehensive and economical monitoring.

The physical breach across the borders is a very common issue these days among nations sharing boundaries. It is controlled via proper border surveillance system. The border surveillance system is trivially a physical border intrusion detection system in which CCTV cameras are used traditionally to observe manually the presence of some intruder. Instead, we utilize the raspberry PI controller board based wireless sensor nodes fitted with raspberry PI camera for identifying the intruder. Once the intruder is identified, the wireless sensor nodes communicate the messages with the next hop sensor nodes and the message ultimately reaches the control room from where army action may be initiated. In this work, we propose a novel lightweight security scheme (LSS) for raspberry PI based wireless node communication for the Border Surveillance System. We have utilized the XBee (Zigbee) serial communication between raspberry PI based wireless sensor nodes. The proposed scheme is based upon the notion of confusion and correct identification of pattern (byte) in the transmitted messages. The entire communication scheme is lightweight and secure.

Internet of Things is considerably increasing the levels of convenience at homes. The smart door lock is an entry product for smart homes. This work used Raspberry Pi, because of its low cost, as the main control board to apply face recognition technology to a door lock. The installation of the control sensing module with the GPIO expansion function of Raspberry Pi also improved the antitheft mechanism of the door lock. For ease of use, a mobile application (hereafter, app) was developed for users to upload their face images for processing. The app sends the images to Firebase and then the program downloads the images and captures the face as a training set. The face detection system was designed on the basis of machine learning and equipped with a Haar built-in OpenCV graphics recognition program. The system used four training methods: convolutional neural network, VGG-16, VGG-19, and ResNet50. After the training process, the program could recognize the user’s face to open the door lock. A prototype was constructed that could control the door lock and the antitheft system and stream real-time images from the camera to the app.
