Jakarta is one of the cities in Indonesia with public transport services that have not been optimal. The quality index of public transport in Jakarta is only 18%, far lower than the average quality index of public transport in Indonesia which reaches 38.67%. Until 2016, the number of public transport users in Jakarta was only 24%, while ideally the number of public transport users was 60%. This shows the low interest of the people of Jakarta to use public transportation. One of the public transportation is Transjakarta Bus, where since 2011, the number of Transjakarta Bus passengers tends to be stagnant. This study aims to identify the actual problems experienced by Transjakarta Corridor Bus passengers using Soft Systems Methodology and then simulate using Agent Based Models. The use of Soft Systems Methodology produces nine model activities that can be carried out by PT. Jakarta Transportation to improve the Corridor 8 Transjakarta Bus system, so as to increase the number of passengers. The use of simulations with an agent based model shows that increasing speed and BRT scores can increase the number of passengers, but the increase in the number of passengers on the Transjakarta Bus will be more optimal if supported by a reduction in headway and the percentage of single buses. Increased passengers can occur as much as 6.83 to 44.38%.

The purpose of the study is to identify airport development plan towards Public Transport Policy based on Airport Development Blue Print with Soft System Methodology (SSM) in West Sulawesi Province. The study is qualitative by applying Soft System Methodology (SSM) with root definition component, constructing images known as rich picture and CATWOE six-element analysis. The data is collected by focus group discussions and in-depth interviews using purposive sampling technique. The results show airport development concept based on seven stages of Transport Public Transport Policy on Soft System Methodology (SSM) basis.

In the absence of a decent, efficient and economical public transportation service, it can be an obstacle for people, especially tourists, to be able to access their desired goals. Of course this will leave a less pleasant impression for tourists, which potentially reduces the attractiveness of tourists Toba Region which indirectly affect the income of the government and also the people of the tourism sector. Based on these considerations, it is time for both central and regional governments to develop tourist public transportation in Toba and surrounding areas more seriously to improve accessibility and mobility and affordability of travel costs in the region. This can be done by revitalizing the existing public transportation route to be transformed into a public transport route. Based on survey results of public transport users for tourist destinations the number is relatively moderate ie between 2-55% of the total passengers transported at the time of the survey. Recorded only from the Terminal shadow Simpang Pos to Brastagi City, Tongging and Paropo and Terminal Siantar to Parapat, Sidamanik and Tiga Ras indicating the existence of passengers with tourist destination. Based on survey results, only public transportation to Berastagi has Load Factor above 100% that is 124%, so it needs to increase the number of its fleet from 18 units to 24 units. Aspects of public transport services assessed include: travel time, waiting time, ease of getting tickets, seat availability, seating comfort and freedom of movement, stopping / terminals, security during travel, travel safety, route info / public transportation routes and complaint media / complaints about service. The survey was conducted on 255 respondents with the aim to see the perception of passengers on public transport services. From the general survey results for all aspects of public transport services assessed, the perception of passengers on public transport services / tours is still in the good category of 49.29%. However, it does not mean that public transport services / tours that are all there are good because passengers who assess public transport services / tours bad and very bad is also quite a lot in the average that is 1.76% and 7.41%.

ABSTRACT

The level of feasibility of rural public transportation in Pengandonan sub-district, ogan komering ulu district. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the feasibility of rural public transportation in Pengandonan District, Ogan Komering Ulu District. The benefit of this research is that it can provide conclusions from the results of the analysis in the field which will later be able to provide benefits and input to related public transport services, so that the level of public transport services to the public is obtained optimal and efficient results. The method used is a descriptive qualitative analysis method by distributing questionnaires to the respondents, namely the population in Ogan Komering Ulu district command district. After analyzing the data obtained from the results of questionnaire responses distributed to the people of the Pengandonan sub-district using transportation in the form of rural public transportation, the feasibility variable (Y) R2 = 0.704, Y = 1.2289 + 0.923 (X1) + 0.056 (X2). Variable speed (X1) and convenience (X2) can affect the feasibility of rural public transportation (Y) which can be seen from the F test and T test values. The values of the two tests are greater than the table. 15,073> 1,490 for the speed variable, 15,660> 1,984 for the comfort variable and 115,247> 3,089, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted or there is a linear relationship between the speed variable and the comfort variable with the appropriateness of the Rural Public Transport Transportation in Pengandonan District, Ogan Komering Ulu. The Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) was developed as a set of tools for identifying and making incremental steps to improve situations with poorly defined causes or solutions. The supply chain forms a key process of any construction project; however, on any given construction site, supply chain inefficiencies could arise from many different avenues. Opinions vary, though, on which of these avenues is more important for increasing supply chain efficiencies; whether any problem even exist across the different aspects of the supply chain; as well as what steps should be taken to resolve them. It was therefore studied, here, whether SSM could be employed as a useful tool to systematically apply in the supply chains of a construction project in South Africa, for understanding and targeting the problematic situations that arise. Following thorough cyclical open-ended interviews with 17 workers, supervisors, foremen, site clerks, senior managers, and the CEO of the principal contractor at a new office park construction project in Rosebank, Johannesburg, and a thematic analysis of the data, SSM was performed to understand the existing challenges, and develop a suitable model for improvement. The study found that SSM was a good tool for understanding the ‘messy’ circumstances surrounding the chosen construction project supply chain, as well as actions that could be taken to improve the supply chain’s efficiency on site. The findings add weight to the argument that SSM could be a good tool for project managers to systematically introduce into their project planning regimens
