Palabras clave: Almería, Cajamar Caja Rural. cooperativas de crédito, modelo de desarrollo agrícola,Abstract:The aim of this paper is to analyze the correlation between the production model of agricultural base of Almeria and the cooperative credit biggest Spain, CajamarCaja Rural, being closely linked from the beginning and have been a complex local productive system . ABSTRACT This article discusses whether Baja California, a northern border Mexican state, has an endogenous local development dynamic, or its achievements in economic growth rest on a weak economic base with a high level of exogenous dependency. Being one of the TLALCAN-winners does not seem to have endowed this region with inner articulation as to find a Local Productive System on which Baja California could ground an endogenous development model. The recent (2002) change in the regional development policy targeting «clusterization» of economic activities could contribute start a new way to talk competitivity in the region.

Cittaslow movement as a local development model has become increasingly important all overthe world since 1999. One of the important factor for the sustainability of this movement is communicated with both local residents and destination visitors accurately and conscious way about the principles and the benefits of Cittaslow philosophy and the unique features of the destination. At this point, social media is a key tool in destination marketing for Cittaslow destinations due to its features such as providing a competitive advantage, reaching a global audience, rapid dissemination of information, communicating with consumers. In this regard the study focuses the role of social media in destination marketing. The aim of the research is to determine how and at what level Cittaslow in Turkey use social media in destination marketing. In accordance with this purpose, content analysis technique was used and Facebook was chosen as social media channel. Among 11 Cittaslow in Turkey, 7 Cittaslow destinations (Gökçeada, Halfeti, Perşembe, Seferihisar, Şavşat, Vize, Yalvaç) that have an official municipality Facebook page were included to the research. This destinations’ posts between January 2016 and June 2016 were analysed in terms of content, frequency and interactivity by utilising the categories Hays et al. (2013) created in their study. The findings of this study show that, Seferihisar Municipality uses social media more effectively in terms of content and post frequency but they also reveal that interactivity which is one of the most important features of social media is not adequately heeded by all Cittaslow destinations in Turkey.

The goal of the study was to identify the level of local development and assess the directions of activities affecting it from the point of view of residents representing the surveyed communes. The H1 research hypothesis – that there is a positive relationship between the pro-development activities preferred by the residents and commune’s current level of development – underwent verification. The research scope included 24 communes from the Lubelskie Voivodeship. The research basically covered 2017. This study utilized the Hellwig’s development model method and the questionnaire survey method. The Hellwig’s model method made it possible to divide the analysed units into four groups regarding their level of development. The survey was used to identify and evaluate activities which, in the opinion of the respondents, are supposed to boost the development of the communes in the future depending on the level of their development to date. As a result of the conducted research, no statistically significant differences were found between the respondents representing communes that differ in the level of local development in terms of evaluation of the importance of particular activities for the communes’ development.

We used a socio-institutional approach to characterize rural organizations in forest-based communities in North West Tunisia. This approach builds on the imperatives of a social system, the conservation of rural capital, and the role of social capital. The resulting model was used to characterize rural organizations based on key socio-institutional attributes. The paper used a Participatory Rural Appraisal (focus groups mainly) to conduct in-depth analysis in nine forest communities. Results reveal the following : 1) in Development Committees there is a strong belief in state intervention and moderate natural capital appropriation, weak conflict management, weak capacity to sanction, and low trust in the organization; 2) in active Agricultural Development Groups there exists a strong potential for conflict management, trust in the organization, and natural capital appropriation, but a lower level of degradation responsibility and capacity to sanction; and 3) in the Inactive Agricultural Development Groups there is the strongest perception of state intervention and overall weak performances in terms of conflict management, trust in organization, and degradation responsibility. These features indicate the organization’s attributes for sustainable local development and specifically for common forest resources management.

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all social areas and community, social, and subjective aspects. In local and regional development, this situation has had devastating effects on which it is still too early to evaluate its effects, in such a way that it is possible to refer to a “before” and an “after”. In this unprecedented scenario and context of uncertainties and risks, it is possible to refer to contingency as a new framework for describing societies, in which the theoretical concepts of local (and social development in general) should explore new emerging concepts, such as, risk and danger, and with it, a rethinking of the logic and theories of local development, and its normative possibilities to apply it, based on the capacity for self-organization.   Key words: Self-organization, Self-orientation, Systems theory, Contingency.
