In compatibility with actual recommendations and policy, which leads to improvement and preservation of integral environment and especially its natural values, it is necessary to implementation active and integral approach to all variety of planning documents. For the needs of the preparation of the Preliminary Design of the traffic artery the inner ring road (IRR) in Belgrade the issue of the protection of the environment has been analyzed within the framework of the special study. In order to visualize the impact of "the IRR" to its surroundings, the solutions of the traffic artery were analyzed from the aspect of the protection of the environment in the sense of definition of harmful impacts and proposals of measures for their prevention or removal. The basic starting point was to get an answer whether Belgrade, from ecological aspect, can withstand the new traffic artery. In this paper will show specified in work in the environmental impact study for City ring road.

In this paper I will argue that artificial moral agents (AMAs) are a fitting subject of intercultural information ethics because of the impact they may have on the relationship between information rich and information poor countries. I will give a limiting definition of AMAs first, and discuss two different types of AMAs with different implications from an intercultural perspective. While AMAs following preset rules might raise con-cerns about digital imperialism, AMAs being able to adjust to their user‘s behavior will lead us to the question what makes an AMA ?moral?? I will argue that this question does present a good starting point for an inter-cultural dialogue which might be helpful to overcome the notion of Africa as a mere victim.

Three-dimensional Navier—Stokes calculations are expected to be increasingly applied in the future for performance improvement of rotodynamic pumps. Frequently such an optimization process involves a preliminary design—based on one-dimensional methods and empirical data—which is subsequently optimized by computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Employing an empirical database is not only necessary in order to provide a good starting point for the CFD analysis but also to ensure that the design has a good chance of fulfilling part load requirements, since recirculating flows at the impeller inlet and outlet are not easily handled by CFD programs. CFD calculations provide the specific work input to the fluid and information on losses and reveal the complex three-dimensional flow patterns. The designer is faced with the task of interpreting such data and drawing conclusions for the optimization of the impeller. It is the purpose of the present contribution to analyse and describe the impact of various geometric parameters and flow features on the velocity distribution in the impeller and their influence on performance and part load characteristics. Criteria are also provided to select the parameters for the preliminary design. Hydraulic impeller losses calculated by CFD programs may often be misleading if the non-uniformity of the flow distribution at the impeller outlet is ignored. Procedures to quantify such mixing losses in the diffuser or volute downstream of the impeller are discussed.

Taking the intake-outlet project of Zhoushan LNG wharf as background, using a 2-D numerical model to simulate the tidal current field around the project, then predict the residual chlorine concentration distribution based on advection-diffusion equation, after calculate the residual chlorine diffusion scope, environmental impact caused by the intake-oulet project was analyzed, especially the impact on the reserve areas nearby. Research results show that: the influence aboved is very little, residual chlorine diffusion mainly concentrated around the outlet, the diffusion area with residual chlorine concentration more than 0.02mg/l and more than 0.1mg/l are respectively less than 0.2 km2 and 0.05km2, although it does have a little influence to the border area of the East China Sea Hairtail Reserve during Case B, but the residual chlorine concentration is less than 0.03mg/l, and the influence distance is only within 50m.

Both SHPs selected for this study SHP Cabuí (southeast of Minas Gerais state) and SHP Caiçara (northern Minas Gerais state) are located in low-income regions. This study aimed to evaluate the approach used to describe the socio-environmental impacts - through the analysis of attributes and magnitude of impacts - of these two projects and for this, consultations were carried out on the Environmental Impact Studies (EIS) presented by these SHPs, as well as the technical opinions available on the website of the agency responsible for environmental licensing (IBAMA). It was verified that the socio-environmental approaches of the SHPs differed in some aspects. PCH Cabuí, whose previous license was deferred, used more attributes to describe the socioeconomic impacts and the explanation of the impact assessment was more detailed and easy to understand, while the EIS of the Caiçara SHP (previous license rejected) was more succinct in its attributes for the description of the socioeconomic impacts, not adequately presenting the valuation and meaning of its impacts. There is also evidence of the need to improve public participation in both projects.

The definition of linguo-ecology as an interdisciplinary science that studies language phenomena as part of the system, as well as through the prism of the communicative needs of native speakers, is taken as the starting point. The object of the research is the geographical names proper, nominating settlements, – oikonyms. The concept of the oikonymic space of a region is introduced, which is a set of fixed nominations of settlements located in a certain territory. The main problems that violate the criteria for the ecology of the names of settlements are characterized. A scale of oikonyms was developed and presented in accordance with the degree of their uniqueness within the region, including four degrees of uniqueness: the unique degree itself has the maximum degree; high degree-single-root morphemic close names; medium degree-complex or compound oikonyms; completely identical, doublet oikonyms are characterized by a low degree. The zones of linguo-ecological risk in the oikonymic space of the Volgograd region are indicated, which are connected with the arising contradictions between the desire for accuracy in nomination and the tendency to save speech. Defectiveness of symbolic names of settlements, which do not reflect their possible relationship with specific geographic objects, as well as the unjustified nature of certain renames, leading to a violation of the principle of historical continuity, was demonstrated.

Purpose This research aims to assess how marketing-related projects with small- and medium-size enterprises act as a form of experiential learning and help develop entrepreneurial and employability attributes for students in higher education (HE). Design/methodology/approach The research is based on published material and an evaluation, within HE, of consultancy projects as a final assessment option alongside the well-established dissertation. Findings External initiatives that embrace experiential learning have helped students develop a better appreciation of client needs, while enhancing their confidence and team-working skills. The institutional degree programme studied is in its seventh year and more than half of students have chosen the project option so far. One key finding is the pivotal role of the academic supervisor and a need for that person to have suitable industry and sector knowledge, as well as effective and empathetic client relationship management abilities. Research limitations/implications The study is limited to one programme at one university but, as it encompasses a very broad definition of marketing-related activities, covers several years and is part of a longer-term longitudinal study, it constitutes research from which some conclusions can be drawn. Practical implications In addition to enhancing the students’ entrepreneurial and employability attributes, outward-facing activities help enrich the overall student experience and also offer HE institutions an opportunity to raise their profile with external organisations. Social implications With graduate employability rising in importance, initiatives such as these can help develop important graduate attributes and capabilities. Originality/value The principal originality and value is that this is a starting point for a potential longitudinal study of the impact of experiential learning and client-orientated projects on graduate career development.

A rockfall analysis at one of the most relevant cultural heritage sites of northeastern Sicily (Italy) is presented herein with the aim of assessing the hazard arising from the unstable conditions of the rock cliff of Taormina city, upon which the Saracen Castle is perched on its top. Several rockfalls affected this area in the latest years, representing a serious threat for the safety of inhabitants and tourists. Therefore, the qualitative Evolving Rockfall Hazard Assessment (ERHA) was applied for the hazard zonation, supported by rock mass surveys and Terrestrial Laser Scanner prospecting. Kinematic analysis revealed that the unstable rock failure patterns are represented by planar/wedge sliding and toppling, while simulation of potential rockfalls allowed studying the impact of future events in terms of trajectory and energy. This is higher at the foot of scarps and in steeper sectors, where the application of ERHA identified a critical zone close to the inhabited center, which is one of the main elements at risk, along with a pedestrian tourist path. Achieved results represent a starting point for the definition of risk management strategies and provide a scientific contribution to the study of hazard and risk arising from rockfall occurrence.

Sources of revenue and expenditure of APBD (regional budget) can be allocated to finance the compulsory affairs and optional affairs in the form of programs and activities related to the improvement of public services, job creation, poverty alleviation, improvement of environmental quality, and regional economic growth. The implications of these policies is the need for funds to finance the implementation of the functions, that have become regional authority, is also increasing. In practice, regional financial management still poses a complicated issue because the regional head are reluctant to release pro-people regional budget policy, even implication of regional autonomy is likely to give birth to little kings in region causing losses to state finance and most end up in legal proceedings. This paper discusses the loss of state finance and forms of liability for losses to the state finance. The result of the study can be concluded firstly,  there are still many differences in giving meaning and definition of the loss of state finace and no standard definition of state losses, can cause difficulties. The difficulty there is in an effort to determine the amount of the state finance losses. The calculation of state/regions losses that occur today is simply assessing the suitability of the size of the budget and expenditure without considering profits earned by the community and the impact of the use of budget to the community. Secondly, the liability for losses to the state finance is the fulfillment of the consequences for a person to give or to do something in the regional financial management by giving birth to three forms of liability, namely the Criminal liability, Civil liability, and Administrative liability. Keywords: state finance losses, liability, regional finance.
