The need for convergence of best practices in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) cannot be overemphasised in an increasingly digitalised world. This undoubtedly led to the introduction of Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) few decades ago which is considered a fast, seamless, and convenient means of dispute resolution. With the increasing prominence of e-commerce transactions, several countries and regions of the world are on the quest to provide an effective legal framework for ODR in e-commerce dealings. This article analyses the approaches to ODR legislations for consumer protection in selected jurisdictions. The article finds that a comparative legal approach with some leverage on legal borrowing can help to create the required legal environment for ODR in other jurisdictions.

Information and communication technology has created a global “network society”. A new type of space created by rearranged global interactions have allowed for distant synchronous, real-time interaction between people, territories, and organizations in diverse educational, culture, economic, and political domains. This chapter surveys the inclusion of technology in twenty-first-century education policy and national curriculums. It discusses how learners and teachers can benefit from hardware and software that are increasingly complementing and converging to create products capable of multiple functions. But the emphasis on the possibilities offered by the electronic-digital and cyber dimensions should not come at the expense of the human dimension as the world becomes increasingly characterized and dominated by technology. Technology should never be allowed to define who we are or drive human choices and actions in an era of incomprehensible technological complexity and change.

While there is a huge research literature on the field of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a tool in teaching and learning, there is much less research on the area of ICT as a subject or similar designations such as school informatics. As a result, there is a lack of theoretical grounding of the didactics of ICT and associated teaching and learning processes. One of the main reasons for the lack of theoretical underpinnings of the didactics of ICT is that there have been in the past and there persist even now strong disagreements and confusion about the nature of ICT as a school subject. While the content of the subject has been clearly defined in the school curriculum, the didactics of ICT is still unclear. This paper suggests ways forward in formulating a framework for conceptualizing the didactics of ICT. The framework draws on research in learning paradigms, epistemology, general didactics, conceptual, and curricular issues of ICT. The article also reports on implementations and evaluations of the framework that were carried out by trainee teachers in secondary schools.

A digital archive containing information on the subject can be specified in the solution forum. The need for preservation of digital archives and so on. In the digital preservation or preservation process is digitally independent compared to other media because it is more susceptible to damage. Damage to digital archives due to short-lived storage media or obsolescence technology either hardware or software. Causing the digital archive to become corrupted and unusable for a very long period of time enables users who need information in the digital archive used in research conducted by this studio by using a literature study relevant to the topic of each Election to produce a concept on the preservation of digital archives. From this study conducted digital archive storage media is very risky degradation process because it is not designed to survive for a long duration of time. The urgency of digital daily preservation is also of particular concern in some countries around the world.
