Learning activity during public activity restrictions at Muhammadiyah Elementary School, Taman Sub-district, Sidoarjo Regency, is carried out through online learning; however, teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Taman continue to face a number of challenges in this teaching and learning activity. This research aims to examine online learning implementation during the public activity restrictions. There are still many teachers who lack an understanding of science and technology, let alone old or traditional teachers who make online learning uninteresting. This research applied the survey research method. Data were collected using an open questionnaire accessible via Google Forms. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. There were 97 teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Taman who filled out the questionnaire. Based on the questionnaire responses, 70.1% had implemented online learning. The issue during online learning was that many students did not have their own mobile phones or laptops because their siblings were still using them for online learning or their parents were still using them for work, so teachers felt that the material presented could not be fully absorbed by the students. Meanwhile, parents struggled with not being able to control their children when learning at home, which differed from face-to-face learning at school

Online learning for children aged during this pandemic is not optimal because it has obstacles, namely COVID-19, which is the reason children experience the impact of learning at home. The research method used qualitative research to describe the findings in the field and then processed the data. The data collection techniques in the research that have been carried out are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research are so that parents can guide, supervise and become a place for children's education in the family. Online learning is one of the new policies in the education sector due to the global pandemic, namely COVID-19. This online learning policy is expected to continue to support the achievement of educational goals. Effectiveness in learning is often measured as a standard for achieving educational goals. Google classroom as a digital-based education platform is considered capable of being a learning link between teachers and students. The implementation of this research is to determine the effectiveness of online teaching and learning activities using Google Classroom at SMA Negeri 1, SMA Negeri 3, SMA Negeri 7 and SMA Negeri 8. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population used in this study were students in grades X, XI, and XII and high school teachers in the city of Samarinda.  Data retrieval was carried out using google forms, learning outcomes documents, and interviews, then the analytical technique used was the interactive model of analysis by comparing the results of the google form questionnaire, learning outcomes, and interviews. The results of the study illustrate that online geography learning using google classroom ranges from 51% -75% only and is considered less effective due to several factors, namely network constraints, quota costs and and google classroom used in this study is not optimal. In addition, when face-to-face learning using google meet only 30% - 50% of students who follow it and some teachers do not carry out face-to-face for fear of burdening students. As a result, teachers only provide materials, media, videos, and assignments in Google Classroom, even though the average student learning outcomes are above the KKM. The conclusion in the study shows the use of google classroom when learning geography online is less effective.

Teaching and learning process since the pandemic time has shifted away from the traditional face to face classroom into online distance learning, and this will be undergo in the post pandemic. This case study aimed to investigate the effectiveness use of the combined modes of synchronous and asynchronous in e- language learning for university students. While both types of that learning approach have its importance in different scenario. The research questions to be answered in the study was how the adoption of synchronous (discussion activity platform) and asynchronous (learning content platform) would be more effective in e- language learning. 55 university participants from the second semester of English Department who joined the online creative writing class in synchronous and asynchronous language learning activity received the survey questionnaire as the sampling of the collected data. The data from the interview was also obtained to get the learners insights regarding the course experiences. The results showed that the applying of the combination approach in online learning has been greatly effective in helping the learners in terms of the community interaction and  material engagement. Moreover, the learners’ response about the using blended mode of synchronous and asynchronous for their learning is very positive. Some suggestions to enfold the problems over the online learning  are also provided.
