The curriculum in Indonesia often changes from time to time, but the results of these changes have not been optimal and are still far from being expected. The research objective is to reveal the various constraints or problems that have occurred during curriculum changes from the Old Order era to the reform era. Various obstacles that were found were the lack of professionalism of teachers in facing curriculum changes, a lack of reference books, and there were still many teachers who had different understandings of Curriculum-13 and experienced confusion in grasping the concept, substance, and mechanism of implementing Curriculum of 2013 Education Unit Level Curriculum. The results of the evaluation obtained were the importance of socialization and conducting teaching training before implementing the curriculum in formal teaching-learning process activities, then the government always paid attention to reference books that were used by teachers and students because every curriculum change was also followed (in addition to the method) of the material used. changed (update). So with that teachers and students can carry out the contents of the curriculum properly and following the objectives to be achieved.

This paper examines the role of parents as a source of character education for early childhood. This study was conducted using the library research method. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents is a determining factor for children's development, both physically and mentally, is the role of both parents as the first and main educators for children who are born until they are adults. In the process of forming knowledge, various parenting styles conveyed by parents are very important. Education in the family plays a very important role in developing the character, personality, cultural values, religious and moral values ​​, and simple skills of children. The role of parents in influencing the character of children is no longer borne by the mother only. The role of the father in shaping the character of the child is very large. Fathers are still obliged to participate in maintaining interactions with their children, such as inviting them to talk, joke, and play.

The teachers are required to be able to adapt and develop their learning model in post-new normal condition at this time, the model should make the students understand the material being taught easier. In addition, teachers must also be able to apply face-to-face (traditional) and non-face-to-face (online) models. Therefore, to solve the problem, there is an appropriate learning model, namely blended learning. This article aims to examine in-depth thinking about the implementation of this learning model with the literature review method. Indeed, the blended learning model is a learning process that utilizes various approaches (i.e., media and technology) both offline and online. moreover, it can improve students’ access in accessing learning materials, enhance their new experiences, improve the quality of learning, and reduce learning costs. As result, this article indicates that a theoretically blended learning model can be a learning model in post-new normal at the school and university, but further research is still needed to examine the effectiveness of blended learning implementation.

This article examines the concept of the Islamic education curriculum according to Muhammad Natsir. This study is included in the library research category. The study method used is descriptive-analytical. The primary data in this study came from the book Capita Selecta by Muhammad Natsir. The results of this study indicate that Muhamamd Natsir has made curriculum reforms during his time. The curriculum offered by Muhammad Natsir is an integrated curriculum that integrates religious and general education as the synthesis of the current dichotomy of the Islamic education curriculum.

The research aims to see how the influence of developing interactive multimedia-based learning media is to improve the ability to pray. The focus of research for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 115525 Sigambal. The material to be packaged is the primary material and the core of learning to pray. The packaged components are sound audio, visualization of images, videos, animations, and sentences or text. The teaching media section consists of introductions, media information assistance, teaching materials, assignments, and exam questions. The media is equipped with a button that makes the media move between the sheets of teaching media. Research methods R&D or Research and Development. Field test with the Guttman Scale for smooth scoring. The Guttman scale will generate action with a definite value, divided into two choices, yes or no. The effect of developing interactive multimedia-based learning media can improve the ability to pray for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 115525 Sigambal has been recognized as eligible to be a teaching medium for grade four elementary school students at SD Negeri 115525 Sigambal

The role of parents in education is a direct action to supervise, control and evaluate every child's activity. For children's education to be better, parents must act as educators who can set an example for children. This research is field research with a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) Parents act as example providers and command to imitate, parents also provide duties and responsibilities, parents provide opportunities to try, parents conduct supervision and checks on children's education and parents provide motivational encouragement. (2) The driving factor for parents in improving the memorization of the Qur'an, namely, yearning for children who are righteous and righteous, wanting to achieve the targets set by the school, the ability of parents to read the Qur'an, and environmental factors at home. and a conducive society. While the inhibiting factor for parents in improving memorization of the Qur'an is psychological factors, which arise from oneself, such as passivity. In addition, social environmental factors can also affect children, the lack of ability and understanding of parents towards the Qur'an, and parents are busy at work.

Kuttab is an Islamic educational institution that appeared at the beginning of Islamic civilization. Actually, its existence has been known since pre-Islamic time, but its development it has not gone well. In order to describe the kuttab in some time, in this article data were collected from various works of literature such as scientific articles, historical books, and research results. The data analysis used data analysis by Miles and Hubberman. In conclusion, this article shows that kuttab in the trajectory of Islamic history has undergone several reforms, both in terms of management, financing, and curriculum. From the curriculum content, there are several striking updates that we can observe in each period. Starting from the simplest teaching about reading and writing to Muslim children to the middle and high levels there are lessons on balaghah, nahwu, sharaf, mantiq, tafsir, fiqih, ushul fiqh, medicine, chemistry, zoology, and others. Regarding financing, some are voluntary, from land taxes and officially taken from the state budget

This research aims to understand and analyze the management of the flagship program of Islamic Religious Education at SMK Nurul Hidayah Al-Falah Mojokerto in facilitating students to contribute to society. This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study, where data collection is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis is done through display data, data reduction, and conclusion. The results showed that the management of the Islamic Religious Education's flagship program at SMK Nurul Hidayah Al-Falah Mojokerto in facilitating students to contribute to society was carried out in a planned and systematic manner through strengthening the Islamic Education extracurricular program as a superior program in the institution, which has types of activities. All of these activities are carried out through careful planning and are carried out concerning existing plans and evaluated with the principle of continuous improvement.

This study aimed to find out a depiction of PAI learning model at SMKN of Lubuk Ubar in Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu. This study used a qualitative approach, and the data sources were PAI teacher, class teacher, and school principal. This study used observation and interview techniques to gather data as regards objectives of this study. After the data were collected, the next step was to analyze the data using the approach of Miles et al comprised of selecting and mapping data, presenting data, and verifying conclusions. This study drew the following conclusion: the learning model applied by PAI teachers was first an active and cooperative learning model. It referred to a learning model that led students to be active and creative, not just listening, but also carrying out activities such as processing, finding, and utilizing information. Second, the contextual learning model, this model helped educators link between the materials taught and real-world situations experienced by students, so that students could find a relationship between the knowledge they had and its application in their lives as family and community members.

The sophisticated information and technology (IT) development can be the answer for various problems post the covid-19 pandemic, particularly the teaching and learning challenges. The role of IT that is booming nowadays is online learning. Online learning is obviously different from regular learning. In this mode of learning, the students are required to have the ability to receive and process information. It serves as media that connect teachers and students who are being remote from one another at any time and anyplace. There are various media utilized to perform online learning such as WhatsApp, Google Meet, Zoom, Google Classroom, and other e-learning platforms. Among all these media, though, WhatsApp apparently appointed as the simplest and easiest media to access in all levels of education. Online learning at current is the effective medium to carry on the teaching and learning process in all levels of education. For the effectiveness of online teaching and learning process during the covid-19 pandemic, there have been a number of learning models suggested by the expert such as remote learning, face to face learning, e-learning, project-based learning, and Blended Learning.
