Despite the industrial revolutions, optimization of production processes, the use of robotics and other advances of science and technology, the share of machine-tool equipment in the execution of the plan at industrial enterprises is large. Human-machine interaction is also invariable. In this regard, the injury rate of machine operators from year to year remains above average. To manage the employee occupational risks, it is required to carefully analyze the source of the risk — the machine-tool equipment used. To manage the professional risks of a machine operator, it is required to assess the following parameters of the machine-tool complex: traumatic factors in accordance with the current legal requirements, and the data obtained as a result of the equipment practical application; completeness and content of the technical documentation for the machine-tool equipment; equipment life cycle stage, equipment operation period; fulfillment of the scheduled preventive maintenance schedule; the number and nature of emergency equipment failures; ergonomic indicators of the machine. The analysis carried out according to the specified parameters can be presented visually in the form of a diagram reflecting the condition of machine equipment on six elements and on three levels using generally accepted signal colors: green - corresponds, yellow — partially corresponds, red — does not correspond. Thus, the results of the conducted analysis are visualized on a color chart, and mathematically evaluated as a percentage. Comprehensive assessment of the state of machine-tool equipment makes it possible to more efficiently determine the risks for those working on the machine-tool equipment, as well as develop measures for the modernization or replacement of the machine-tool park.

The method of costs allocation for equipment maintenance and operation has been analyzed. It is especially important to properly allocate costs by type of product at those industrial enterprises, where a complex range of products is produced as a result of a single production process. The main method for calculating the product cost unit in industry is calculating the product cost and expense budget. Differentiated methods should be used in allocating indirect costs between particular products or types of products, depending on the nature of a cost, its economic nature, and its connection with the process of forming production cost. In calculating production cost, costs for production maintenance and management are identified, having a very diverse composition. A big group of expenses connected with equipment operation (depreciation on operating equipment and vehicles; maintenance repair of the equipment and shop-floor travelers; wear of low-value tools; the wages of workers engaged in equipment maintenance; maintenance materials) is singled out in a special spending pattern. It is established that quite accurate results are also used in a number of industries. For example, the method of allocation of indirect costs allows the maintenance costs and equipment operation costs to be reasonably allocated, thus making it possible to more accurately calculate the production cost and make management decisions on this basis. It should be noted that, since indirect costs include a large number of various production costs, which differ in many economic respects, allocation of all indirect costs should not be carried out on a single basis.

The model for assessing the levels of occupational risks was introduced and is used at the mechanical engineering enterprises during lifting equipment operation. The analysis of injuries carried out six months after the start of its use and familiarization of employees with the register and the level of hazards showed a decrease in risk levels in relation to previous periods. The results of the study of the procedure for managing occupational risks when working on three types of cranes are presented: electric bridge crane; gantry crane and single-girder electric supporting bridge crane. The first two listed cranes are installed at hazardous production facilities. After drawing up a plan for assessing occupational risks at the stage of risk identification, the method of questionnaires was used to collect information about production processes and determine the register of hazards. To analyze the work of the occupational health and safety management system, a multi-level control of the technological process and ensuring its safety was introduced. In practice, the relevance and availability of the Fine — Kinney method for assessing the levels of occupational risks was confirmed. When studying the significance of the impact of the procedures (elements) of the occupational health and safety management system on the probability of a hazard and, consequently, on the final level of occupational risk, the method of expert assessments was used. The methods for formalizing assessment results proposed and implemented in the organizations reflect all the stages of the process and provide answers at any stage of the study of the occupational risk levels. The measures developed based on the results of the assessment of occupational risk levels allow to maintain safe working conditions and prevent the occurrence of hazards that lead to injuries at work.

By considering learning effects during the process of maintenance, this article investigates an availability-based warranty policy from the manufacturer’s perspective. Imperfect preventive maintenance activities are implemented to reduce the number of equipment failures so as to meet the product’s availability requirement and minimize warranty servicing cost during the warranty period. Hybrid hazard rate model is used to describe imperfect preventive maintenance actions; maintenance plan and warranty servicing cost are optimized by considering learning effects. Preventive maintenance schedule within a warranty period is optimized cycle by cycle, and the warranty cost rate is minimized under the requirement of availability within each cycle. Numerical example of a wind turbine gearbox is provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed availability-based warranty policy. Sensitivity analysis shows that by considering learning effects on maintenance, the gearbox can maintain a higher availability level with a lower warranty cost than the case without consideration of learning effects.

Therefore, the assessment of the environmental impact of the sludge storage of waste and hazardous chemicals in the Yasinova arroyo of the city of Kamyanske is an urgent task for scientists and workers of the ore-processing industrial enterprises. The aim of the work is to assess the impact on the environment of the sludge storage of waste and hazardous chemicals in the Yasinova arroyo of the city of Kamyanske. The object of the study is the process of environmental pollution due to the activity of sludge from waste and hazardous chemicals in the Yasinova arroyo of the city of Kamyanske. The research subject is the reduction of the level of environmental pollution during the activity of the sludge storage’s waste and hazardous chemicals in the Yasinova arroyo of the city of Kamyanske. The initial data of the laboratory analysis of water samples were provided by the laboratory of OJSC Dniproazot. Regulatory and technical documentation is provided by the Department of Environmental Protection of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the city of Kamyanske. The ecological situation in Kamyanske has long been characterized as a crisis. A significant excess of geochemical parameters of some elements in soils was recorded. Particular attention should be paid to the content of Ce and REE in the polymineral substance of tailings. Exceedances of the maximum concentration limits of Ni and Cu in the Konoplyanka River, which flows in the immediate vicinity of the tailings; which suggests an assumption that there is a migration of these elements from the tailings with groundwater and their accumulation near the river.
