Life skills education is a valuable and strategic investment in producing skilled and skilled Indonesian people in various fields according to the needs of the community and the world of work. This means that life skills are given to all elements of society, especially for women. Women as someone who has an important role in the family is the key to success in the existence of his family. Life skills education is provided in order to help increase family income, which in this case contributes to women's empowerment. Padang State University as one of the higher education institutions facilitates community service. The focus of community service that the writer adopts here is the empowerment of women through the provision of life skills in order to help increase family income. This service was carried out in Nagari Siguntur, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The number of subjects (training participants) is 15 women. The method used is lectures, workshops and training. Data collection techniques are observation (assessment process) and interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the implementation of the community empowerment program showed that (1) the number of participants who actively participated in women's empowerment activities through the provision of life skills was 15 people, (2) the training participants had knowledge and skills in making bross, and arranging flowers from used cloth, (3) the formation of a small-scale bross production group as souvenirs for parties and cloth flower displays.Keywords: Women's Empowerment, Life Skills, Family Income

This research is motivated by the limited access of women in supporting the family economy. Therefore the issues raised in this research is how to empower women through Life Skills Education (PKH) Culinary program in PKBM Jayagiri West Bandung Regency.The purpose of this study is to describe the initial condition of the learning community (women) before joining PKH Tata Boga programs, planning, implementation and results of the activities achieved, as well as supporting factors and inhibiting the implementation of activities. The theory that supports this research is about the concept of women empowerment, PKH, and family economy. While the research method used is qualitative descriptive approach. Research data obtained by observation, interview,and documentation.The results of the research are as follows: (1) The initial condition of the students to learn before joining the women's empowerment program through the PKH Tata Boga program is generally low family life with the limited entrepreneurship skill, (2) The planning of women empowerment through PKH Tata Boga program through the process of identification, mapping of potentials and resources as well as with the involvement of the learning community, (3) The process of implementing women's empowerment through the PKH Tata Boga program is carried out by various approaches and empowerment techniques with 80 percent proportion of practice and 20 percent theory, (4) women through the PKH program of culinary learners who are attained by citizens learn to have a change of attitude in utilizing the potential and leisure time to improve the family economy through the effort in the field of Culinary, (5) Supporting factors of activities such as studying citizens are not charged for learning, learning motivation,family, and society. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method, which aims to find the meaning of community empowerment based on socio-cultural values through life skills education and business diversification. The study was conducted in Bener Village, Tegalrejo Subdistrict, Yogyakarta with research participants being the heads of community empowerment units, Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) managers, 25 empowerment program participants and business diversification actors. Data were collected through observation, interviews and document analysis as well as Foccus Group Disscusions (FGD). The collected data is analyzed inductively by linking between aspects to be interpreted. The results of this study indicate 1) community empowerment programs such as Life Skills Education are based on Segoro Amarto values in building the spirit of independence, discipline, caring and togetherness. Three main empowerment programs include productive economic empowerment, professionalism and welfare development. 2) Life skills education that has been followed tends to have no impact on the choice of type of business diversification carried out. This means that the social welfare sought to form into group economic activities in the form of Prosperous E-warung is one form of Segoro Amarto implementation and is developed in commitment, honesty and shared responsibility.

The Reinforcement of Islamic Community Development Study Program through community empowerment based on Life Skills Education and Intermediate Technology can be one solution to overcome unemployment while preparing prospective Community Development graduates. Moreover, life skills education and other intermediate technologies can serve as an alternative program which is able to provide appropriate basic training for students about the values of life and daily survival tips so that they are able and skilled to carry out the required things in life when they return to the society. From the description of the aforementioned issue, the researcher was intrigued to conduct a study by formulating the research objectives to achieve which were summarized in the general research problem namely The Empowerment of Community Development Study Program through Life Skills Education and Intermediate Technology. In order to achieve the research objectives, a research method was required as a concept and the base for analyzing and summarizing the research results. The current study employed a qualitative approach, while the type of the research was field research which can also be considered as a broad approach in qualitative research or as a method for collecting qualitative data. The reinforcement process of Islamic Community Development Study Program students in Faculty of Da'wah, IAIN Jember by BBLKI Jember Regency through life skills education included activities to foster activeness and to motivate students in choosing methods and media for life skills education accompanied with: Practical Activities and Evaluations. Meanwhile, for the tangible activities, there were small industries, small and medium scale entrepreneurship development, monitoring, life skills education, and intermediate technology. The Work and Industrial Training Empowerment Model in Jember was divided into three levels, namely micro, meso, and macro in which the approach was a combination of a task-centered approach, the use of groups as an intervention medium, and an empowerment directed at a broader environmental system.

Taman Sari Sub-District, Bogor Regency has the potential for fertile soil. But these lands have not been tilled properly. Narrow housing conditions, especially for poor people, do not allow residents to plant crops. Causing the lack of consumption of vegetables; which causes residents become easily sick. In addition, there is also a lot of plastic waste, especially bottled drinking water and other things that come from tourists and fishermen who have not been processed. This condition gave rise to the idea to provide life skills training in making vertical gardens, hydroponic plants and waste management. Besides the need for makeup and haircutting skills also needed especially for orphans fostered by Yasayan Usawatun Hasanah. Community Service Activities (PkM) aims to foster community awareness of the cleanliness of the environment and empower citizens to be more creative and entrepreneurial. Therefore, in addition to the types of activities requested by the residents, UPBJJ-UT Bogor will also teach about identifying the economic value of the work done in the form of determining the cost of goods sold / production. This activity was attended by 50 orphans and it ran smoothly and successfully. Now orphans already have life skills that hope can lift their economy.

Life skills education to deal with the climate change and management of natural disaster prevention for students in ethnic minorities boarding high schools are very necessary nowadays. Based on educational activities of life skills, we establish and develop the awareness, attitudes and behavior for students, help them to find the causes and consequences of climate change and the natural disaster so that they shape attitudes and behavior of themselves in adaptation and mitigation due to climate change and natural disasters, as well as conscious propaganda for everyone to perform, toward a better life, a civilized society, meet overall educational goals during the current period. So that, life skills education for the goals of meeting the needs of disaster prevention for students are concerned. However, we not only say doctrinairely but also pay attention to the results of the life skills education due to meet the needs of disaster prevention, by then we form perceptions, attitudes and behavior for students in schools and in society. So there must be coordination between the forces of education in schools with families and society. Therefore, life skills education for students acquire sustainably. Assay results consulted reviews of managers, teachers showed that life skills educational management measures meeting the needs of disaster prevention for the students are necessary and available, suitable with the practice of ethnic minorities boarding high schools.

Education is basically an attempt to develop the potential of students and the demands of environmental conditions to have life skills. So that researchers interested in lifting the title "Implementation of Life Skills Education in Learning PAI At SMP Diponegoro. The formulation of the problem and the goal that researchers take is to answer questions and to find out how the implementation of life skills education in learning PAI, how the factors supporting and life skills and how to overcome the inhibiting factors of life skills in learning PAI in SMP Diponegoro Moropelang Babat Lamongan. To find out the problems and get the data clearly, here the researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. The technique of collecting data and information is done through observation of events and circumstances relating to the implementation of life skills education in learning PAI, Interview principals, teachers PAI, teacher coaches life skills and learners and documentary archive of documentation that an official of the SMP Diponegoro Moropelang Babat Lamongan.
