The concept of sustainability has started to take place in researches in the current period. At present, where urbanization continues rapidly, the idea of sustainability has become a necessity rather than an option. At this point, it is critical to address these current problems in design education. Sustainability should also take its place in design education. Based on these concepts, a studio structure was created at Istanbul Technical University, Department of Interior Architecture with third-year students as participants in 2021. The project is about the scope of sustainability awareness in future scenarios by teaching children the idea of sustainability. The studio proposes future scenarios with play experience and develops the idea by using scenario-based design as a design methodology. Participants were asked to design a play that creates alternatives to discuss sustainability through their works. Using this potential, the studio aimed to convey the importance of environmental sustainability to new generations in future scenarios.

Abstract Ninh Kieu District is located in the center of Can Tho City, established under the Government’s Decree No. 05/2004/ND-CP. This is a modern and rich district, with a history of formation and development associated with the Mekong Delta. According to statistics in 2019, Ninh Kieu District has an average population of 280,792 people, with a population density of 9,605 people/km2 and an area of 29.23 km2. In the current period, the urbanization process in Ninh Kieu District takes place at a fast and strong pace. This has made it impossible for the urban drainage system to keep up with this change, thereby creating great difficulties for the drainage management here. In order to deal with these enormous challenges, the managers in this area need to incorporate new technologies into drainage management. This paper presents the main result of building a spatial database to support drainage management for Ninh Kieu District. This is considered as a fundamental source of data for application of GIS in urban drainage research and management in Ninh Kieu District.

The health crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic has induced, among other things, an increase in the importance of remote work or teleworking (TL) in the current period. The objective of this research is to identify the economic and social impact of telework in changing the behavior of employees in Romania. The research was conducted approximately one year after the onset of the pandemic until the beginning of the vaccination period in Romania. The research proposed includes three main directions of analysis of the extracted data, which are related to telework efficiency, this being considered one of the most important indicators for a company. In order to obtain conclusive results, we used a mixed methodology, combining results obtained through a survey based on a self-administered electronic questionnaire, with a data mining analysis. Detailed analysis of the groups identified based on work efficiency allowed us to highlight the most common employee profiles. This analysis was doubled by a second classification experiment, which provided us a more detailed analysis of the groups identified based on job satisfaction and highlighted the most common employee profiles. The expansion of telework in various economic areas is a result of adaptation to the new economic and social conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Density dependence is a fundamental concept for fish population dynamics. Although density-dependent growth and maturity among older juveniles and adults is important for regulating fish population size and for fisheries management, the mechanism of density dependence for marine fishes remains unclear. Here, we examined changes in Japanese sardine growth with increasing abundance beginning in the 2010s and how the current pattern of density-dependent growth differs from that of a previous stock-increase period from the 1970s to early 1980s. During the current period of increasing abundance, mean standard length has already dropped to the lowest level yet observed and growth has declined more sharply with increased abundance than in the 1970s and 1980s. Mesozooplankton biomass in July in the summer feeding grounds was also lower during the current period. Therefore, our results suggest that summer food availability in the western North Pacific controls the strength of density-dependent growth. A lower carrying capacity for Japanese sardine could account for the stronger density dependence of growth observed in the 2010s; this indicates that future Japanese sardine abundance might not increase as much as in the 1980s unless food availability improves.

The living wage is defined by researchers as the salary that workers receive during normal working hours, which is enough to maintain a decent standard of living for themselves and their families. Therefore, it is different from the concept of minimum wage being applied as a basis for paying wages to workers today. Vietnam's minimum wage is calculated as the minimum to escape poverty, but not the minimum wage to ensure a decent minimum living in a developed economy. The minimum level to escape poverty is often applied in the condition that the country prioritizes economic development, but in the current period, the minimum wage must be a living wage to realize inclusive and inclusive development. leave behind. In the condition that Vietnam has become a middle-income country, the minimum wage Vietnam needs to aim for must be a living minimum wage. Therefore, this article analyzes the basis of paying a living wage for workers in Vietnam in the context of changing the economic model from the traditional to the industrial development model in Vietnam today.

This paper aims to fill a gap in the existing research about the internationalization of tourism destinations through a systematic review of the literature focusing on publications presented between 2007 and 2017. The research followed the assumptions of the non-probabilistic snowball sampling technique. In addition, the computer programs VosViewer, for bibliometric analysis, and NVivo 10, for content analysis were used. Tourism destinations’ internationalization is a combination of: (i) integration of organizational interest with stakeholders’ interests; (ii) understanding that what moves these elements are endogenous and exogenous business opportunities; (iii) integrating external opportunities in the destination by aligning them with its territorial identity; (iv) achieving coherence between the previous three components through the implementation of a governance model; (v) a governance model that facilitates the destination’s organization by conciliating interests, resources and opportunities; (vi) and the DMOs that coordinate the dynamics generated between the elements of this system, making it possible to organize the supply following its territorial identity. The internationalization process of tourism destinations highlights factors different from the internationalization of companies. In the first scenario, politics, planning, and territory internationalization strategies should target different kinds of reflections according to the level of intervention (local, regional, national or international). In the second, it is essential that supply is aware of investment opportunities abroad, financial packages to support businesses, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The current period exposed the fragility of the tourism sector and how external threats can influence it. Thinking about the internationalization of tourism destinations shows how important it is to organize the tourism offer in accordance with the challenges the sector faces, at the same time as explaining the role of DMOs. Until now, this theme has been mainly studied from the perspective of demand, creating a gap in the existing knowledge about the organizational systems.

Background: The transport interchange hub meets its fundamental function - the concentration and organization of traffic flows of various types of transport, including individual and passenger transfers, and is of a utilitarian nature. One of the possible solutions is to place not just transfer complexes, but multi-storey structures of this kind. Where the first floor is a distribution pedestrian level, the main task of which is to ensure the transfer of passengers in a comfortable environment. On the next level there are objects of passing passenger service, the three upper floors are "intercepting" parking. With the urban area adjacent to the node, communications are provided through underground pedestrian crossings. Aim: The commissioning of maglev transport lines in places of concentration of growing passenger traffic, which will help to reduce travel time, meet freight needs, improve the quality and increase travel safety when driving on dedicated lanes. At the same time, it is necessary to integrate maglev transport into the transport system of cities. Method: The article defines the goals and objectives of the placement of transport interchange complexes. The article presents a methodology for assessing the location of transport hubs, which consists of three stages. Results: At the first stage, in accordance with the proposed methodology, it is necessary to carry out an integrated assessment of the territories under consideration in order to determine the prospects for their development. At the second stage, it is necessary to analyze the existing transport infrastructure in the region, providing passenger traffic in order to identify areas with the greatest transport accessibility, both in the current period and in the future. At the third stage, on the basis of logistic criteria, the analysis of the transport network in the areas with the highest passenger flows is carried out.

Dietary patterns and eating habits can have a great influence on the overall health of specific regions. By looking back to the history of Turkey and how the dietary patterns evolve in Turkish people, it is easier to discuss the nutrition status of the Turkish people in the current period, understand the culture in Turkey, and can better evaluate what to be done to improve the overall diet quality and prevent chronic diseases. The Turkish diet is mostly similar throughout the whole country, but there are unique characteristics for each region. When analysing the evolution of the Turkish diet, it is easier to split into three time periods, which are the Seljuks (11-13th centuries), the Ottomans (the end of the 13th centuries-1922), and the modern Republic of Turkey (1923-now). Moreover, the analysis of Turkey’s Dietary guidelines provides an insight into the shortcomings of the current Turkish diet and the recommendations for people to improve overall health. The unhealthy, mal-nutritious, and unbalanced diet may increase the death rate by causing many chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases and cancer. The difference in daily nutrition intake between the wealthiest and poorest people of Turkey is also important to see the dietary culture in Turkey.
