Logika Fuzzy Model Tahani untuk Rekomendasi Pilihan Kursus di Kampung Inggris Pare Kedir

Kampung Inggris terletak di Pare Kabupaten Kediri Jawa Timur. Di tempat ini terdapat pusat pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris terbesar di Kota Kediri dan kemungkinan juga terbesar di Indonesia. Tidak jarang di Kampung Inggris ada banyak pendatang yang berasal dari luar kota dan pulau. Banyaknya peserta kursus yang datang dari berbagai penjuru daerah di Indonesia, penggunaan internet pun semakin berkembang dan para calon siswa akan menggunakan internet untuk mencari lembaga-lembaga kursus yang ada di Kampung Inggris karena dirasa lebih efektif dan efisien. Tidak jarang para calon peserta kursus lebih berminat pada pendaftaran sistem online dan menggunakan jasa rekomendasi dari situs-situs yang menyediakan jasa rekomendasi sekaligus reservasi karena dirasa lebih efisien. Dengan demikian rekomendasi reservasi pilihan tempat kursus sangat diperlukan oleh calon siswa, masalah ini dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan logika fuzzy dengan model tahani. Dimana calon peserta kursus, akan merasa terbantu dengan adanya sistem ini dengan memberikan rekomendasi lembaga-lembaga yang sesuai dengan kriteria calon peserta kursus dengan cara menginput kriteria pada sistem oleh pengguna. Sehingga pada akhir prosesnya, pengguna akan mendapatkan daftar rekomendasi lembaga yang direkomendasikan berdasarkan kriteria masukannya.English village is located in Pare, Kediri Regency, East Java. In this place, there is the largest English language learning center in Kediri and it is maybe the largest in Indonesia. It is not seldom in the English Village that many people who come from outside the city and the island. The number of course participants who came from around the region in Indonesia, the use of the Internet was growing and prospective students will use the internet to search the course institutions which existing in English Village because it was felt more effective and efficient. It is not infrequently the prospective course participants more interested in the online system of registration and use services of the recommendations of sites that provide services at the same time on the reservation, because it is considered more efficient. Thus the choice of the course on a reservation is required by prospective students, this problem can be solved by fuzzy logic model using tahani. Where prospective participants will feel be helped using this recommendation system with giving properly recomendation institutions using the criteria of prospective courses in way of inputing the criteria by user. So, the final process, the user will get a list of institution recommendations based on the criteria input.

         Related literature indicates that the internet has an important role and great potential in language learning. It is also obvious that the attitudes of students affect the learning process significantly. This research aimed to find out the students’ attitude toward the use of the internet in English classrooms. The design of this research was survey research in which the sample was collected from 37 students at SMK Pembangunan Bukittinggi which used simple random sampling as the technique sampling of the research. Additionally, the analysis of the data was done by identifying the respondent’s responses, analyzing the data, and making a conclusion. The result showed that the mean score of students’ attitudes toward the use of the internet in the cognitive aspect was 3.7. It means that the students had a positive attitude in the cognitive aspect. Besides, the mean score of students’ attitudes toward the use of the internet in terms of the affective was 3.3. It means the students had a positive attitude toward the use of the internet in terms of affective. In addition, the mean of the conative attitude statement was 3.4. It means the students had a positive attitude in the conative aspect related to the use of the internet.

Abstract. In recent years, the development of the Internet plays a significant role in human's daily activities. One of the most important effects of the Internet is the change in the process of shopping. The advent of online shopping leads to establish a new channel for customers to obtain information about their desired goods and demands. Although many customers collect information from online channel, they also wish to try and search for their required goods at the stores. Besides, discovering this data leads to a new source for spatial analysis to find the users’ interests. Therefore, we can consider this data as a contextual information source for spatial analysis or primary source for recommending points of interest (POIs). In this research, our aim is to discover a relation among the users' internet searches and the goods at the stores to recommend the best store to the users. Euclidean distance is used to calculate the similarity between users' searches and the available goods at the stores. The proposed method has been implemented in the city of Tehran, capital of Iran. The results show that the users’ internet search behavior plays an essential role in the recommendation system which provides stores to the users based on the similarity among the users’ internet searches and the available goods at the stores.

Aim. The present study seeks to investigate the effect of internet use on writing abilities of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students studying in an Iranian university. The students of the study have been advised to use the Internet while searching for collocations and new words. They were also told to use grammar checkers while writing essays in English. After a two months’ period, their writing papers had been corrected by two raters. Compared to scores they obtained before the class equipped with new technologies, the students obtained higher scores, showing that the Internet can be used in language learning especially in writing classes where students have difficulties in using native-like words and structures. Methods. The participant of the present study were 28 Iranian university students studying ELT in an Iranian University in the capital Tehran. The students were divided into two classes consisting of 12 students in the experimental group and 16 students in the control group. The mean age of the students taking part in the study was 20. Additionally, according to a TOEFL iBT the level of the English proficiency of the students was 75. To put it other way, utilizing the test, the students were homogenized by the researchers of the study. Results. The results of the study showed that the use of the Internet in EFL classes can boost the writing abilities of EFL learners. In other words, the writing of the students will be improved in case the check different collocations and grammatical points in the Internet.  Moreover, the use of grammar checker soft wares which can be found on the net can pave the way for EFL students to be better writers of English. Conclusions. To conclude, this study suggests that the use of the Internet can be beneficial to EFL learners while improving their writing abilities which can be seen by many scholars studying different skills as important.

Abstrak: Berkembangnya media teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sangat pesat dan sangat maju dan diminati masyarakat yang mengacu pada sumber informasi sudah tidak asing lagi yaitu penggunaan internet Penggunaan jasa layanan internet di Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan dan perkembangan. Manfaat internet sebagai salah satu solusi untuk mengefisienkan berbagai kepentingan telah dirasakan oleh banyak kalangan. Salah satunya melahirkan media baru yang di sebut Google Form. Pengabdian yang akan dilaksanakan di salah satu cafe yang ada di kota medan yaitu cafe Rumah Kopi 55 berupa pendampingan dan arahan kepada pengelola cafe dalam membuat aplikasi Google Form yang dapat digunakan oleh pelanggan secara cepat dengan hanya mengakases link yang diberikan, yang mana aplikasi ini digunakan untuk mendapatkan Feedback pelanggan terhadap sistem pelayanan cafe yang ada sekarang agar dapat membuat cafe lebih maju lagi dan berkembang. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini digunakan pelatihan dengan interaksi dua arah antara tim pengabdian dan pihak pengelola cafe.  Hasil yang diperoleh dalam pengabdian adalah tercipta suatu aplikasi feedback untuk pelanggan terhadap pelayanan di cafe Rumah Kopi 55.   Namun hingga saat ini pihak pengelola cafe belum menerapkan aplikasi yang telah diberikan d. Salah satu dampaknya yaitu kemudahan bagi pelanggan dalam memberikan feedback serta memberikan kemudahan bagi cafe Rumah Kopi 55 dalam meningkatkan pelayanan dan manajemen berdasarkan feedback yang diberikan.Abstract: The development of information and communication technology media that is very rapid and very advanced and in demand by the public who refers to information sources is already familiar, namely the use of the internet. The use of internet services in Indonesia continues to increase and develop. The benefits of the internet as a solution to streamline various interests have been felt by many people. One of them gave birth to a new media called Google Form. The service that will be carried out at one of the cafes in the city of Medan, namely the Rumah Kopi 55 cafe in the form of assistance and direction to cafe managers in making a Google Form application that can be used by customers quickly by only accessing the given link, where this application is used to get customer feedback on the existing cafe service system in order to make the cafe more advanced and growing. The method used in this activity is training with two-way interaction between the service team and the cafe manager. The results obtained in the service are the creation of a feedback application for customers on services at the Kopi Rumah cafe 55. However, until now the cafe manager has not implemented the application that has been given d. One of the impacts is the convenience for customers in providing feedback and providing convenience for Rumah Kopi 55 cafe in improving service and management based on the feedback provided.

The current study has as its objective to analyze the relationship between students’ attitude towards learning English and  the procrastinating behavior at the academic level. Attitudes strengthen people’s motivation to learn a foreign language  (Delfín, 2007), and procrastination, which involves unjustified delaying of activities, causes negative consequences in  completing academic tasks postponement of responsibilities (Rodríguez & Clariana, 2017). The design was correlational,  and the sample consisted of 55 students learning English. The instruments were the Attitudes towards English language  learning questionnaire and the academic procrastination questionnaire. According to the results, evidence shows that  there is a positive median relationship between the variables, leading us to conclude that despite having positive attitudes towards learning English, procrastinating behavior does not diminish. The results of this study could be utilized in  bilingual programs, or those could also be utilized to implement curricula in language programs at schools or universities. The study presented in this chapter investigated the impact of computers and the Internet on both the achievement of learners of English as a foreign language (EFL) and their attitudes toward learning EFL. The field study took place at a University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where first year students study English 101, a compulsory English language course. Thirty students were randomly selected to study in an alternative EFL course using computers, the Internet and collaborative activities within a constructivist framework. Another group of 38 students was also randomly selected to be the control group. These students attended English 101 taught using traditional teaching aids and the grammar-translation teaching method. The study was 13 weeks long. The findings of the study indicate a strong positive shift in the subjects’ attitude and motivation toward learning EFL after using the new technology-based approach. As to the subjects’ language achievement, the treatment group outperformed the control group by 30%. These findings provide strong support for the effectiveness of a technology-enhanced learning environment for second language teaching and learning.
