In improving the education and teaching process by lecturers in tertiary institutions, learning is carried out using Blended Learning technology. Blended learning is a collaboration and / or a combination of learning that has a traditional nature (learning by doing face-to-face) and learning by utilizing technology or what is referred to as e-learning. The application of Blended Learning technology in universities in Riau Islands province has been carried out in several universities in the city of Batam. Previous research states that there are problems in the application of Blended Learning technology. This study examines how the Acceptance of Blended Learning Technology by Students in the city of Batam with the Unified Theory of Acceptance and use of Technology (UTAUT) method. In carrying out this research activity a quantitative approach is used with a causalistic explanatory research research design. The results of this study reveal that business expectations, performance expectations, social influence, and facility conditions together affect the independent variable Blended Learning Technology Acceptance. This shows that the overall acceptance of Blended Learning Technology among students has been well received

AbstractAn extended technology acceptance model for matchmaking tools in coworking spaces is presented and tested among 92 German coworkers. Advancing previous research, hedonic and community-related aspects are integrated into a framework based on the extended unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT2). Coworkers emphasize a matchmaking tool’s productivity aspects, which are positively moderated by their sense of community. Hedonic motivation (HM) and personal innovativeness contribute to usage intention, while effort expectancy is not a driver. The influence of HM is negatively moderated by sense of community, suggesting that a favorable social atmosphere that is explorable in person acts as a partial substitute for the enjoyment of tool usage. Surprisingly, satisfaction with face-to-face activities does not affect their perception of a matchmaking tool.

Kata Kunci : Blended Learning, LMS Moodle, Post Covid 19 ABSTRACTThe application of e-learning is one of the learning technology innovations that integrate information and communication technology with lesson content. Although e-learning can be used independently by students, the existence of teachers is very meaningful as adults who function to support and assist students in the learning process. Therefore, a learning model that combines (blending) the face to face learning method with e-learning in an integrative and systematic manner will make the learning process more meaningful. The outbreak of the Corona virus in Indonesia has directed the learning situation to online learning. However, the fact is that the use of technology is still very minimal in schools. The same thing was found in the Mitra school. MA Cahaya Harapan is a partner school for this PKM workshop, where most teachers have not maximally utilized the use of ICT in the learning process in the classroom. The stages of this workshop include the stages of preparation, implementation, evaluation and mentoring. The purpose of this mentoring and training workshop is to improve the abilities of teachers in Moodle LMS-based blended learning in the post-Covid-19 era. Participants in this PKM consisted of 25 people and was held for three days and continued with mentoring for two consecutive weeks. Based on the results of the satisfaction questionnaire, there was a 28% increase of the participants ability after joining the training. All participants seemed very enthusiastic in participating the training program. This can be seen from the attendance of all participants from the start of the activity to the end of the activity. A useful Information System is difficult to conceive and develop. Research on technology has revealed that end-user likes or dislikes may matter towards the success or failure of information system (IS). A highly complicated system in which developers have put lots of development efforts may fail if the end-user dislikes it after its initial installation. In software engineering literature it is claimed that system rejection is mostly caused by not meeting the non-functional requirements. In this paper, a study is being done on ‘turnitin®’ as technology and its acceptance to a group of students in order to find out confirmation of result as claimed by TAM while it is a post implementation research activity for technology acceptance.

Current empirical evidence suggests that successful adoption of eHealth systems improves maternal health outcomes, yet there are still existing gaps in adopting such systems in Uganda. Service delivery in maternal health is operating in a spectrum of inadequacy, hence eHealth adoption cannot ensue. This study set out to explore the challenges that impede eHealth adoption in women's routine antenatal care practices in Uganda. A qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews was employed to document challenges. These challenges were classified based on a unified theory of acceptance and use of technology constructs. One hundred and fifteen expectant mothers, aged between 18 and 49 years, who spoke either English or Luganda were included in the study that took place between January to May 2019. Thematic analysis using template analysis was adopted to analyse qualitative responses. Challenges were categorised based on five principal unified theories of acceptance and use of technology constructs namely: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions and behavioural intention. Facilitating conditions had more influence on technology acceptance and adoption than the other four constructs. Specifically, the lack of training prior to using the system, technical support, computers and smart phones had a downhill effect on adoption. Subsequently, the cost of data services, internet intermittency, and the lack of systems that bridge the gap between mothers and health providers further hindered technology uptake. In conclusion, strategies such as co-development, training end-users, garnering support at the national and hospital levels should be advocated to improve user acceptance of technology.

This blended learning classroom (BLC) case study identifies and describes successful procedures and methodologies that widen the use of online tools in virtual environments. It provides a systematic and organized access to the plethora of free social software available online for the development of collaborative learning activities. The goal of this particular BLC professional development activity was to offer a face-to-face group of English teachers in Venezuela the opportunity to meet members of an international community of practice (CoP) and together review a packaged learning course material online. Blended technology, the mix and match of available tools, served to display the wide use of resources and each person’s skills. By exploring online tools, participants gained an opportunity for learning about both educational theory and the use of technology. The experience described here shows a prototype of future pathways towards educational content use and development.

Theoretical background: Today, people use more systems and devices than ever, no matter the context. These behaviors are most often explained using technology acceptance models, including the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2), which is a new and prominent technology acceptance theory.

Purpose of the article: The aim of this article is to identify any interpretable trends and draw overall conclusions about the existing UTAUT2 literature, which helps to fill the gap which is lack of such review for UTAUT2 model.

Research methods: Descriptive review analysis of 23 articles based on the partial UTAUT2 model.

Main findings: The UTAUT2 is an efficient theory – the average explained variance of behavioral intention was 62% and for use behavior – 37%. It is highly recommended to use the performance expectancy variable in all research contexts based on the UTAUT2 model. Utilitarian aspects turned out to be more important than hedonic ones for most technology adopters. Commercial organisations should focus on delivering reliable and useful products and underline these features in marketing communication.
