Objective of the research was to examine empirically the influence of human resources empowerment, directly and indirectly, through organization resilience on an organization performance. Objectives of the research in detail were to analyze and examine empirically the influences of: human resources empowerment on organization performance, human resources empowerment on organization resilience, and organization resilience on organization performance. Population of the research was 69 star hotels, which spread over the East Java Province. 34 hotels were taken as samples. The respondents were 216 managers. Samples were taken using proportional sampling method and data analysis of the research used SEM (Structural Equation Model). The main finding of this research was that the organization performance would be enhanced if the human resources were empowered in participating to achieve the organization goal, commit to the organization, and have greater authority and responsibility in decision-making process. This influence will be stronger if it is followed by the organization capability to adapt to any change at the organization environment.

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of corporate governance on profitability and its impact on company value. To measure the level of implementation of corporate governance, an index that has been developed based on relevant regulations and previous research is used. This study uses a purposive sampling method from the constituents of the Indonesian Syariah Stock Index (ISSI) in 2017. There are 50 companies that meet the criteria for the study sample. Data analysis using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach with the GeSCA Version 1.5 Web analyzer. The results of this study indicate that corporate governance has a positive and significant effect on profitability, while corporate governance does not affect the value of the company. Profitability affects the value of the company. Corporate governance affect the value of the company mediated by profitability.

Vocational education is no longer just an education that prepares its graduates to work or become mediocre workers. Creative thinking skills are the basis of science that is very important for students. This research uses a quantitative approach and the population of this study included 106 Cadets of The School of Aviators in Indonesia. Sampling techniques taken were saturated sampling techniques and the samples were taken as many as 106 cadets. Data analysis techniques used were Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS help (Analysis of Moment Structures) program. The results of this study show that critical thinking has a significant effect on decision making.

This article examines the model theory of out-group threaths, Social Identity and Group Decision Makings and finds out the contribution of out-group threaths and Social Identity toward the decision makings process by applying structural equation model, AMOS 6. Results showed that while out-group threats are salients influenced the positive of social identit which affected to the group decision making process. These findings support previous research conducted by Thompson dan Kray (1998) found that there is a positive relations between social identity and group decision making.

The purpose of this research is to examine three factors that affect audit decision such as goal commitment, litigation environment and trust on auditor’s acceptance of the client’s preferred methods. Data were collected through questionaires using purposive sampling method. Samples were selected from accounting firms which were listed on Directory of Ikatan Akuntan Publik Indonesia for 2013 period in Jakarta. Out of the 150 questionnaires sent, the final analysis was based on the response from 109 auditors (72.67%). Moreover, data analysis uses Structural Equation Model (SEM) by using AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structures) version 21.0. The results of this research reveal that (1) goal commitment is positively related to the auditor’s acceptance of the client’s preferred method, (2) litigation environment is negatively related to the auditor’s acceptance of the client’s preferred method, and (3) trust is negatively related to the auditor’s acceptance of the client’s preferred method

This research aims at analyzing (1) the effect of vendor’s ability, benevolence, and integrity variables toward e-commerce customers’ trust in UBM; (2) the effect of vendor’s ability, benevolence, and integrity variables toward the level of e-commerce customers’ participation in Indonesia; and (3) the effect of trust variable toward level of e-commerce customers participation in UBM. This research makes use of UBM e-commerce users as research samples while using Likert scale questionnaire for data collection. Furthermore, the questionnaires are sent to as many as 200 respondents. For data analysis method, Structural Equation Model was used. Out of three predictor variables (ability, benevolence, and integrity), it is only vendor’s integrity that has a positive and significant effect on customers’ trust. On the other hand, it is only vendor’s integrity and customer’s trust that have a positive and significant effect on e-commerce customers’ participation in UBM. Keywords: e-commerce customers’ participation, ability, benevolence, integrity

This study aims to predict the impact of the understanding of halal certification by Small Medium Enterprise (SME) entrepreneurs on the intention to conduct halal certification. This study was conducted in the Cooperative and SME Office of Surakarta City. The Halal Certification Comprehension Rate was assessed using three variables. We had knowledge of halal (PGT), perceived halal certification advantages (MNF), and perceived halal certification procedures (PROS). Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used for data analysis. The results show that SMEs have a good knowledge of halal and agree that halal certification is beneficial to their businesses. We found, though, that the processes for handling Halal Certification are relatively complex. Based on the study, the perception of Halal Certification Benefits (MNF) is significantly affected by the intention of SMEs to conduct Halal Certification (NHL). The other two results show a positive correlation. However, they are not statistically significant. This study aims to predict the impact of the understanding of halal certification by Small Medium Enterprise (SME) entrepreneurs on the intention to conduct halal certification.
