Abstract Carbon charcoal was made from rambutan rods and used as an adsorbent. A gram 70/100 mesh size of adsorbent was then used to adsorb 100 ml of copper ion solution with a 70 ppm concentration. In this investigation, the batch procedure was used without shaking (naturally). The charcoal carbon rambutan ability to remove the copper ion was measured by AAS. The percentage result was 48,135% or about 33,694 ppm. SEM and EDX instrument analysis have applied to confirm the presence of copper ions on the adsorbent surface. The copper ion was found at a concentration of 0.09 percent of the total weight. The carbon charcoal adsorbent in rambutan rods has the ability to purify the water contaminated by metal ions.

The Arms Trade Treaty brings together a number of small arms control norms into one instrument and is a new initiative, which was instigated by state and NGO norm entrepreneurs. This thesis attempts to understand what has led to the emergence of these norms in the Arms Trade Treaty, in what will be termed a ‘cluster’ of small arms norms. Examining the small arms norms associated with the Arms Trade Treaty will explain their development and their likelihood of successfully being incorporated into this instrument. Analysis of the development of the norms related to the Arms Trade Treaty will explore the relationship between norms, their promoters and their opponents. This thesis will do this by providing detailed analysis of the development of specific norms in a series of case studies: control over arms brokering, transfers to non-state actors and civilian possession. It will place this development within the broader context of the ATT instrument and the international society in which it is emerging into. This thesis finds that power and powerful states have a significant role to play in the emergence of norms, in some cases despite the efforts of norm promoters. Norms were not able to emerge in their original form due to the influence of powerful states, which resulted in norms evolving in different directions or not emerging at all.

Both businesses and consumers have experienced significant changes as a result of the rise of m-commerce. The benefits of using a new system are perceived by users depending on their assessment of the system, information, and service quality. In one of the cities in the Cavite area, the researcher wants to assess the influence of information system success in customer behavior in mobile payments in m-commerce. This study consisted of 405 respondents and used purposive and quota sampling with a descriptive quantitative design and a survey questionnaire as the instrument. Analysis of variance, multivariate analysis of variance, and independent-sample t-test was considered as statistical techniques that will help determine consumer behavior in the use of mobile payment in m-commerce. This study's findings have numerous key implications for the usage of mobile payments in m-commerce research.

Public sectors in Indonesia have begun to implement strategic planning since the decade of the 2000s, in line with the decentralization policy in education sector. This qualitative descriptive study examined Senior High School strategic planning documents and confirmed the documents through interviews. The study aims to identify models used and its formulation in annual school plan. The result shows that many private schools do not have strategic planning yet. The models used are issue-based models offered by the ministry of national education with variation of components of planning and employment of two main instruments: SWOT and gap analysis. All schools having strategic planning formulate them in the annual work plan, however, not all of school implement them consistently. Keywords: instrument analysis, gap, SWOT, model, strategic planning.

This research explores the influence of transformational leadership and knowledge sharing on innovative behavior. The research method used is a quantitative method. The population in this study were lecturers at 3 universities in the city of Cirebon. The number of samples in this study were 86 respondents. Data collection using a questionnaire instrument. Analysis of research data using multiple regression. The results showed that transformational leadership and knowledge sharing have a positive and significant influence on innovative behavior. In this study the knowledge sharing variable has a more dominant contribution compared to the transformational leadership variable to manage employee innovative behavior.

In the natural environment, interactions between species are a common natural phenomena. The mechanisms of interaction between different species are mainly studied using genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic techniques. Metabolomics is a crucial part of system biology and is based on precision instrument analysis. In the last decade, the emerging field of metabolomics has received extensive attention. Metabolomics not only provides a qualitative and quantitative method for studying the mechanisms of interactions between different species, but also helps clarify the mechanisms of defense between the host and pathogen, and to explore new metabolites with various biological activities. This review focuses on the methods and progress of interspecies metabolomics. Additionally, the prospects and challenges of interspecies metabolomics are discussed.

In this paper, we evaluate the impact of the education foundation law in the management system of the private Indonesian Islamic school. Islamic schools or madrasas are the goal of the Muslim community to educate their children where Islamic knowledge and sciences technologies are combined. The private madrasas were initiated, established and organised by the governing boards. Rapidly growing of the private madrasa but lack of management system makes the Indonesian government to stipulate law number 16 of 2001 and law number 28 of 2004. A total of 251 respondents from various foundations among six cities in Indonesia were contacted and interviewed. Instrument analysis was performed using the Rasch model approach through the Winsteps program. We observe that three groups of respondents have the same characteristics of answers. It indicates the tendency of respondents to more agree and practice the mentioned items. The respondents were found to face great difficulties when answering dual positions and authority of the governing boards. We conclude a small impact of the applicable law in the management system of the private madrasa.
