This research focuses on the use of the Snake and Ladder Board Game in teaching speaking to the tenth grade students at SMA Kristen Mercusuar Kupang. This research aims at finding out the appropriate way of teaching speaking by using snake and ladder board game for students in the tenth grade students at SMA Kristen Mercusuar Kupang..This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of the research is the tenth grade students at SMA Kristen Mercusuar Kupang.. The procedure of the research applied two cycles namely cycle I and cycle II.  Every single cycle had fourth steps namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The result of this research shown that there were significant developments on students speaking skill at the tenth grade students at SMA Kristen Mercusuar Kupang after conducting the treatments through snake and ladder board game. In which the score of a cycle 1 am 43,06 and the score of cycle II is 71,88. It means that the snake and ladder board game is an appropriate way to improve the students` speaking skills. In addition, the researcher found the result of the observation that almost all of the students gave positive responses, such as they gave attention seriously in learning process, they had been more active than before, make them happy and  enjoy the  class,  and  of  course  they could  improve  their  speaking toward snake and ladder board game in improving speaking skill

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research aimed at enhancing students’ speaking skill through the application of Circle Game. It was conducted in one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject was the seventh of C class of SMPN 2 Alas Barat consisting of 22 students. The types of data were qualitative (acquiring observation during the learning process) and quantitative (speaking tests). The results qualitatively showed that the implementation of Circle Game enhanced the students’ speaking skills. Such improvement could be seen from their enthusiasm, their interesting feeling in various materials presented by the teacher, their active involvement. In the quantitative findings, the result also showed a higher value of the mean score of the post-test (77.34) rather than the pre-test (75.75). In conclusion, the use of Circle Game can improve students’ speaking skill.

This present study was a classroom action research which was conducted to overcome the students’ problem in mastering speaking skill by implementing Three- Step Interview. The subject of this study was the first semester students of Bali Widya Kusuma Hotel School. There were two cycles in which every cycle consisted of two sessions. The research was started by administering the initial reflection. In accordance to the main objective of this study, the initial reflection was intended to establish the real pre existing speaking skill mastery of the subjects under study in English. Based on the result of the pre-test which was carried out in the pre-cycle, showed that the subjects’ skill in speaking was categorized as insufficient, which was 54.48. From the technique implemented, there was significant improvement from the subjects’ skill in speaking, in which it improved from insufficient to good, which was 68.09 in cycle I and 76,29 in cycle II. This research furthermore showed there was changing learning behavior as the result of the positive responses concerning the technique applied in improving the subjects’ speaking skills. To sum up, the present clasroom action study proved that the implementation of three-step interview could improve speaking skill in the first semester students of Bali Widya Kusuma Hotel School.

<p><span lang="EN-US">This research is an action research that aims to improve students' speaking skills using Youtube media. Discussing how Youtube as a learning medium can improve students' speaking skills. During the Covid 19 pandemic, formal schools are still carrying out the learning process online and only courses are allowed to study face-to-face because there are fewer students in one class, therefore this research was conducted in the Easy English course. Students' speaking ability on the Easy English course is still low especially at the level of children. English course students have difficulty in speaking skills. The students are bored with the old method of improving their speaking skills. The data were collected through speaking assessment and interview</span><span lang="EN-US">in classroom action research. The writer used Youtube video and students watched and practiced it. Each class consisted of 7 to 10 students, the writer made three cycles and gave a score for each cycle according to the speaking size. The results of the research point out that the students could improve their speaking skills by using Youtube videos. In the first cycle, the students' average score is 65 points, the second cycle is 75 points, and the last cycle is 85 points.</span></p>

The research aimed at the use of picture series to improve the students’ speaking ability of tenth graders in narrative text. In accordance with the findings of preliminary study which showed that the students’ speaking performance was low, the researcher chose speaking as the focus skill to be improved. The skill was chosen because the students faced many difficulties to perform this skill, such as the lack of vocabulary, the coherence in speaking, and the difficulty to express the ideas. The study applied a classroom action research that was conducted in two cycles consisting of five meetings. The subject of this research was 34 tenth grade students of SMAN 4 Malang. The findings of the research revealed that using picture series improved the students’ speaking score in some aspects of speaking skills, comprising fluency, pronunciation, content, and coherence. Besides, it could make the student eager to be involved in the teaching and learning process.

The background of this research is the low of mathematics learning result of grade 1 student of SDN 004Tembilahan Kota, for that done perbaiakan learning process by applying method of discussion. This researchwas conducted in SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota with the subject of research is the first grade students with 36students. This research is a classroom action research conducted two cycles. Based on the results of theresearch, it is found that the use of the method of disuksi can improve the students' learning outcomes aboutknowing and determining the length and weight with nonstandard units using concrete objects / concretesituation in the initial data, the total number of completed students is 12 students (33.3%) average 55.83. In thefirst cycle has increased the number of students who complete is 26 students (77.22%) with an average value of80.00. In the second cycle has increased with the total number of students who completed is 32 students (88.89)with an average value of 88.06.

The objective of this study was to investigate whether the application of Teams-Games-Tournament Technique improve the students achievement in Speaking. This study was an classroom action research. The subject of this study was class XI IPA 3 SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Kisaran which consists of 35 students. The study was conducted in two cycles, cycle I consisted of three meetings and cycle II was consisted of three meetings. The instruments for collecting data were quantitative (oral speaking test) and qualitative data (observation sheet and diary note). Based on speaking scores, students’ score kept improving in every evaluation and based on observation sheet and diary note, it was found that teaching and learning process ran well. Students could enlarge their thinking process. The result of this study showed that Teams-Games-Tournament improved students’ achievement in speaking.

This study attempts to increase students’ vocabulary achievement by using flash cards. The objective of the study is to investigate whether the using of flash card can improve students’ vocabulary achievement. This study conduct by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles in six meetings. The subject of this study of SD Negeri 174559 Siraituruk, Porsea which consisted of 34 students. For collecting data, the instruments used were quantitative (vocabulary test) and qualitative data (interview sheet, observation sheet, and diary notes. Based on the data, it was found that the mean of the second cycle (80, 44) is higher than the mean of first cycle (64, 85) and pre-test (44, 41).  Based on interview sheet, observation sheet and diary notes, it was found thee students were more active and more enthusiastic during the teaching learning process in the second cycle than the first one. It was concluded that teaching vocabulary by using  flash cards can improve the students’ vocabulary achievement.

This study is concerned with the improving student’s vocabulary achievement in writing descriptive text through Make a Match Method. The objective of this study was to discover whether the use of Make a Match Method could significantly improve students’ vocabulary achievement in writing descriptive text. This study was conducted by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles in six meetings. The subject of this study was students of SMA Negeri 1 Pollung which consisted of 34 students. The instruments for collecting data were descriptive writing test, observation sheet, questionnaire sheet, and diary notes. The techniques for data analysis were quantitative and qualitative. It was found that teaching-learning process ran well. Students were active, enthusiastic and interested on writing descriptive text. The result of this study showed that the use of Make a Match Method significantly improved student’s vocabulary achievement in writing descriptive text.

The study is aim to find out how to improve students' speaking ability in making questions, giving explanations, and answers based on the debate topic. The methodology of this research is a classroom action research which consisted of 3 cycles. The subject of this research was the students of Semester II Sistem Informatika of Informatica Technical Faculty 2019/2020, Potensi Utama University, which consists of 60 students. To collect the data, the researcher applied the observation checklist and fieldnotes. Through the observation checklist, the researchers observed students' activity in the classroom, and by using fieldnotes the researchers summarized the problem during debating process. Based on the research findings, the debate technique which was applied to the subjects of research reflected the improvement of students' speaking ability. Based on the result of the researchers’ observation using the observation checklist and fieldnotes, it can be seen that students' speaking ability in making questions and giving explanations have been improved. The percentage of students' activity in the classroom when debate, in the first cycle, was 42.83%, in the second cycle was 59.17%, and the third cycle was 85.17%. It indicated that debate technique had improved students' speaking ability in making questions and giving explanations.Keywords: Classroom Action Research, College Student, Debate Technique, Speaking Skill

This research aims to find out the impact of video dubbing on improving students’ speaking pronunciation. This research was applied for the tenth grade and eleventh grade of Vocational High School in Madiun city, province of East Java, Indonesia. The subject of the research consisted of 20 students, 14 female students and 6 male students. In collecting the data, researcher used observation to observe the implementation of video dubbing during teaching learning process and used test to find the improvement of students’ speaking pronunciation during the implementation of video dubbing. The research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of 4 meetings. The research findings showed that the implementation of video dubbing could improve students’ speaking pronunciation. It can be concluded that the implementation of video dubbing in learning process has beneficial effect on students’ speaking skill, especially in pronunciation.
