This research is motivated because there are still very few people who can read the Al-Qur'an with the correct recitation. Efforts must be made to conduct Al-Qur'an learning in educational institutions, both formal and informal. This paper aims to describe the implementation and implications of learning to read the Koran with an-nahdliyah and yanbu'a methods. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques used single case analysis and cross-case analysis. Research results: (1) The implementation of Al-Qur'an reading and writing learning with an-nahdliyah method in Nahdlatul 'Ulama Vocational High School (SMK-NU) and yanbu'a method in Islamic Vocational High School (SMKI) Al-Azhaar Tulungagung which aims so that students can read the Qur'an in accordance with the science of recitation with implementation: opening prayer, classical, private, evaluation, motivation, and closing prayer. (2) Learning material at SMK-NU: volume books (volumes 1-6), Al-Qur'an, and the book "Provisions for Prospective Leaders. While the material in the ISMS: beginner Juz, Juz 1-7, Al-Qur'an, and rote learning. (3) Implications of learning with an-nahdliyah method and yanbu’a methods include. In essence, students can read the Qur'an by the knowledge of recitation and can write the letters of the Qur'an correctly and adequately.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena masih sedikitnya masyarakat yang dapat membaca Al-Qur’an dengan tajwid yang benar. Upaya yang harus dilakukan mengadakan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan, baik formal maupun non formal. Naskah ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi dan implikasi pembelajaran baca tulis alqur'an dengan metode an-nahdliyah dan yanbu'a. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kasus tunggal dan analisis lintas kasus. Hasil penelitian: (1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran baca tulis Al-Qur’an dengan metode an-nahdliyah di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Nahdlatul 'Ulama (SMK-NU) dan metode yanbu’a di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Islam (SMKI) Al-Azhaar Tulungagung yang bertujuan agar peserta didik dapat membaca Al-Qur’an sesuai dengan ilmu tajwid dengan implementasi: do’a pembuka, klasikal, privat, evaluasi, motivasi, dan do’a penutup. (2) Materi pembelajarannya di SMK-NU: buku jilid (jilid 1-6), Al-Qur’an, dan buku “Bekal Calon Pemimpin. Sedangkan materi di SMKI: Juz pemula, Juz 1-7, Al-Qur’an, dan materi hafalan. (3) Implikasi dari pembelajaran dengan metode an-nahdliyah dan metode yanbu’a antara lain: peserta didik dapat membaca Al-Qur’an sesuai dengan ilmu tajwid dan dapat menulis huruf Al-Qur’an dengan baik dan benar.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami orientasi pemikiran, implementasi dan dampak kemitraan pendidikan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus di SMA Negeri 1, SMK Negeri 2, MAN dan lembaga sosial di kota Salatiga dengan pendekatan interpretif.  Data penelitian digali melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis holistic, embedded, analysis of theme, within case, dan cross case analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah menghadapi banyak keterbatasan, sementara lembaga sosial memiliki banyak sumber daya untuk mengatasi keterbatasan tersebut. Sekolah memiliki variasi orientasi pemikiran dan implementasi kemitraan pendidikan, yaitu akademik-profesional, akademik-vokasional, dan akademik-spiritual. Implementasi kemitraan pendidikan didukung oleh modal sosial. Penghambat kemitraan pendidikan berasal dari orang tua, sekolah, dan lembaga sosial. Pada era Otonomi Daerah partisipasi partai politik mendominasi dalam pengambilan dan pelaksanaan kebijakan pendidikan. Kemitraan pendidikan memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap mutu lulusan, budaya sekolah, dan orang tua.Kata kunci: kemitraan, sekolah, orang tua, lembaga sosial kemasyarakatan EDUCATIONAL PARTNERSHIP IN THE ERA OF REGIONAL AUTONOMYAbstractThis research is aimed at understanding the mind orientation, implementation, and impact of educational partnership in the era of regional autonomy. The research was a case study in Senior High School, Vocational High School, Madrasah Aliyah Negeri, and social institution in Salatiga municipality employing interpretive approach. Data were obtained through interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through holistic analysis, embedded analysis, analysis of theme, analysis within case, and cross case analysis. The result of the research shows that school encounters many limitedness, while social institution has many resources to overcome the limitedness. School has variation of mind orientation and implementation of educational partnership, namely academic-professional, academic-vocational, and academic-spiritual minded. The implementation of educational partnership is supported by social capital. The obstructive factors of educational partnership can be derived from parents, school, and social institutions. In the era of regional autonomy, the participation of political parties dominates the decision and implementation of educational policy. Educational partnership has a significant impact on the quality of the graduates, school culture, and the parents.Keywords: partnership, school, parents, social institution

This study aims to find out and describe the students’ positive responses toward homework given by English teachers at grade twelve in SMK Negeri 3 Purworejo in the academic year of 2014/2015. The subject of the research is students of SMK Negeri 3 Purworejo grade twelve in the academic year of 2014/2015. The approach is qualitative naturalistic and the data were taken using open questionnaire. The research finding reveals 21 final categories. From those 21 final categories, there are four main components which are important to be explored further. Those four components are students, homework materials, teachers, and facilities. The positive responses toward homework coming from the students are satisfaction and happiness if they can do it without cheating. They are challenged in doing the homework and get new knowledge. Doing the listening homework trains students to concentrate. They better understand the learning material, develop their self-confidence, and express their ideas and opinions. For homework materials, the students’ positive responses are dominated by the material that students have already learned and have not learned yet. The positive responses based on teachers are the English teachers have to discuss and give scores of the homework. Regarding facilities, the students consider that the school’s facilities should be various and complete to help them do the homework.

Abstract Many studies have been concerned with sequence organisation, adjacency pairs and preference organisation in English conversations. However, there is a need to investigate how these structures apply to other languages, and this paper undertakes such a task in analysing a French telephone conversation. In the conversation analysed, the two base parts of an invitation sequence, the invitation and its acceptance, are separated by 113 turns of talk. The methodology uses the Jeffersonian transcription system and Conversation Analysis techniques. What is remarkable about the data analysed in this study is its striking similarities to an English conversation examined by Schegloff (1990). The parallels with Schegloff’s single case analysis constitute evidence of a phenomenon equally occurring in French, with a massive delay between the first pair part (FPP) and the second pair part (SPP) and the complex local organisation and expansion sequences that result from it.

This study aims to  determine the  competency-based  teaching materials development program to improve student life skills, implementation, problems and challenges, and future improvement steps. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at the Ma'arif Nahdotul Ulama Vocational High School, Garut Regency, West Java Province. The data collection techniques were interviews and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used were qualitative data analysis techniques using an inductive approach. The research results are: First, the teaching material development program carried out is planning  development  quality  objectives,  establishing  a  School  Activity Plan, collaborating with the business world and the industrial world. Second, the  implementation  is  that  the  partnership  relationship  is  not  optimal. Implementing the guidelines for the development of teaching materials is not optimal. Good management is needed in implementing the results of the development of teaching materials, and an additional budget is required. Third, the problems faced are poor management of school principals, inadequate curriculum development and cooperation,  preliminary school budgets, a productive syllabus that needs to be developed, and industrial practices for production are not optimal. Simultaneously, the future challenges are the student resources managing the partnership, the students' character, and  the demands for  practical facilities that require special attention.  Fourth, the  corrective  steps  are that the regulation of material development needs particular attention, additional budget is needed, the apprenticeship material must adjust to the productive syllabus, quality learning, improved competency tests, the competence of educators needs to be improved, optimizing the acceptance of new students, completing facilities and infrastructure.

English has a more specific coverage, it  is known as "English for specific Purpose (ESP)"  which the developed of scientific study is a special vocabulary used in accordance of speciefic majors such as: English for Machine, English for Religion, English for Engineering, English for Education and English for Computer. Students, teachers and lecturers can develop, apply and use English easily and can quickly understand English text more quickly by implementing ESP theories. Likewise for the English language is used in general in various educational institutions at vocational High School Al-Huda Sumber Nangka Duko Timur Pamekasan. One of material is register for computer system based become the main focusing problem that must be overcome by the teacher of improving English teachers’ profesionalism and mastered the usage of coverage ESP. This research want to analyze the use of ESP theories by using qualitative method by Miles and Huberman model analysis of data collection, data reduction, data display and verification. English for specific purpose (ESP) theories have a contibution at the practicing register for computer system for students to comprehend English material at computer specification practice. Keywords: Improvemet of ESP, Register for Computer System, English Reading Comprehension Abstrak: Bahasa Inggris memiliki cakupan yang lebih spesifik (ESP)" yang dikembangkan dari studi ilmiah adalah kosakata khusus yang digunakan sesuai jurusan seperti: Bahasa Inggris untuk Mesin, Bahasa Inggris untuk Agama, Bahasa Inggris untuk Teknik, Bahasa Inggris untuk Teknik , Bahasa Inggris untuk Pendidikan dan Bahasa Inggris untuk Komputer. Siswa, guru dan dosen dapat mengembangkan, menerapkan, dan menggunakan bahasa Inggris dengan mudah dan dapat dengan cepat memahami teks bahasa Inggris lebih cepat dengan menerapkan teori ESP. Demikian juga untuk bahasa Inggris digunakan secara umum di berbagai lembaga pendidikan di sekolah menengah kejuruan Al-Huda Sumber Nangka Duko Timur Pamekasan. Salah satu materi adalah sistem komputer berbasis menjadi masalah fokus utama yang harus diatasi oleh guru, meningkatkan profesionalisme guru bahasa Inggris dan menguasai penggunaan cakupan ESP. Penelitian ini ingin menganalisis penggunaan teori ESP dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif oleh Miles dan Huberman model analisis pengumpulan data, reduksi data, tampilan data dan verifikasi. Teori Bahasa Inggris untuk Tujuan Khusus (ESP) memiliki kontibusi pada daftar praktik sistem komputer bagi siswa untuk memahami materi bahasa Inggris di praktik spesifikasi komputer.

This study was framed in English for Spesific Purposes to look into the teacher’s and students’ perception about teaching speaking for Tourism Program. To this end, ten male and female Tourism students and their English teacher in one of private Vocational High School in Surakarta were purposively selected as the participants in this study. They were invited to take part in semi-structured interview. The findings showed that English for Tourism emphasizes more in building students’ speaking skill. All participants shared their positive perceptions toward teaching speaking for Tourism Program. The students perceived that speaking was very crucial for them since it gave such impact to their future career. Nevertheless, there were several difficulties students faced in the learning process including grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, content. There were also some challenges such as lack of confidence, low motivation and limited learning material. However, both teacher and students were actively involved in overcoming those barriers. This study shed light on the importance of collaboration between teacher and students. It is suggested that they should work closely to improve the quality of ESP program.

Penelitian bertujuan menghasilkan: (1) model pembelajaran Model Kwu-Kop yang dapat menumbuhkan keterampilan kewirausahaan siswa SMK; (2) perangkat pembelajaran Model KwuKop yang dapat dipergunakan di SMK; (3) model pembelajaran kewirausahaan yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan efektif; dan (4) model pembelajaran yang dapat dilaksanakan dan berfungsi dengan baik untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan kewirausahaan siswa SMK. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Tahap pengembangan terdiri empat tahap yaitu: (1) investigasi ; (2) perancangan; (3 realisasi; dan (4) evaluasi. Produk yang dihasilkan divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli pendidikan. Penilaian dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, yaitu: (1) pra-ujicoba terbatas, dan (2) setelah ujicoba terbatas. Tingkat kesepakatan antar penilai dianalisis dengan statistik Coeffisient Cohen‟s Kappa dan Percentage of Agreement. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) pengembangkan Model Kwu-Kop terbagi dalam dua kegiatan, yaitu: (a) pra-pengembangan, meliputi tahap investigasi, tahap perancangan, tahap realisasi; dan (b) pengembangan, meliputi tahap evaluasi; (2) perangkat model yang dihasilkan adalah buku panduan Model Kwu-Kop lengkap dengan perangkat pembelajaran (RPP, modul, job sheet dan alat evaluasi); (3) model yang dihasilkan memenuhi kriteria valid dan efektif; dan (4) Model Kwu-Kop dapat dilaksanakan dan berfungsi dengan baik untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan kewirausahaan siswa SMK. A SCHOOL COOPERATIVE-BASED ENTREPRENEURSHIP LEARNING MODEL IN THE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT GROUPAbstractThe objectives of this study are to develop: (1) the school cooperative-based entrepreneurship learning model (SC-ELM) that can build entrepreneurial skills among students in vocational high school (SMK); (2) a set of SC-ELM that can be used in SMK; (3) SC-ELM that can meet validity and effectiveness criteria; and (4) SC-ELM that can be applied and serve well to build the entrepreneurial attitudes and skills of SMK students. This study used the „R & D‟ method. The development consisted of four steps, i.e.: (1) investigation; (2) designing; (3) realization; and (4) evaluation. The resultant products were validated by the experts in both learning material and education. Assessment was done twice: (1) limited pre-test and (2) post-test. To measure the level of inter-rater consensus by the experts, an analysis was done by using the statistic tests for the Coefficient Cohen‟s Kappa and the Percentage of Agreement. The results of the study are as follows. (1) The development of SC-ELM is divided into two types of activity, i.e. (a) predevelopment step, including investigation, designing, and realization; and (b) development, including evaluation. (2) The developed model consists of the manual of SC-ELM and a set of lesson plans (RPP, module, job sheet, and evaluation instrument). (3) The resultant model meets the validity and effectiveness criteria. (4) SC-ELM can be applied and serve well to build the entrepreneurial attitudes and skills of SMK students

Aswaja and NU's Education taught in Nahdlatul Ulama educational institutions, especially for junior high school / MTs are directed to maintain, preserve, develop and practice Ahlu al-Sunnah Wal Jama'ah Islam teachings and conduct activities aimed at to create the benefit of society, the progress of the nation and the height of human dignity and dignity that can be understood very in tune with the values of multicultural education. The values of multicultural education include: (1) the value of democracy, equity and justice; (2) the value of humanity, togetherness, and peace; and (3) social attitudes, namely: recognition, acceptance and appreciation to others is very appropriate and all of which are covered in Aswaja and NU's educational content for junior high school / MTs, ie al-ta'awun, al-tawasuth, al-i'tidal, al-tasamuh, al-tawazun, and amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, and ukhuwah baikukhuwah nahdliyah, islamiyah, wathaniyah, basyariyah and then embodied in the form of mabadi 'khaira ummat which originated from al-shidqu norm, al -aahah wa al-wafa bi al-'ahdi, al-'adalah, al-ta'awun and al-istiqamah.Hal affirms that the practice of Aswaja and NU's education is taught in educational institutions within the organization Nahdlatul Ulama very inclusive. Internally, education in Nahdlatul Ulama 'organization has been proven to have introduced multicultural values to its students both in terms of doctrine of the teachings, as well as in terms of the daily life experiences of the students. Externally, these multicultural values are also socialized and made into principles in establishing social relationships with communities and other groups outside Nahdlatul Ulama's educational institutions'.
