The present research paper is an attempt to understand the role of mediating variables in the relationship of cause related marketing and customer Value. Based on the literature review, the role of service quality and perceived risk as mediators has been analysed in depth. The data for the study has been collected from mobile subscribers of the select telecom companies that were running cause campaigns. The results of the research showed higher total effect than direct effect, which signalled the role of mediators in the relationship of cause related marketing and customer value. Furthermore it is evident from the analysis that service quality has a direct and significant impact on the relationship of Cause related marketing and customer value, as compared to the perceived risk. This research study emphasizes the role of Cause Related Marketing in enhancing customer value via service quality.

This paper wants to examine the relationship of service quality, perceived value, satisfaction and loyalty with religious tourists who visit the island of Madura in 2015. The structural equation modeling results support the hypothesis that service quality affects directly the satisfaction and loyalty, and satisfaction directly affects loyalty, but the results do not support the hypothesis that the perceived value directly affects the satisfaction and perceived value directly affects loyalty. Quality of service only has direct and indirect influence on loyalty through satisfaction. So the stage of tourism development in Madura, quality of service is very important in building loyalty and satisfaction tourists

Second, whether there is an influence of leadership style, compensation and work spirit together or partially on employee performance. This study aims to find answers to the problem formulation. The design of this study uses a quantitative approach that is associative. This study will explain the relationship of influencing and influenced by the variables to be examined, namely the influence of leadership style and compensation to work morale and its impact on employee performance and does not violate the law, morals, and ethics. The population was 130 respondents, which were sampled in this study were 99 respondents to represent the population of OKU District Panwaslu staff. The sampling technique used in this study is the simple random sampling technique, which is the research sample taken using simple random methods. Analyzing the data in this study used path analysis techniques (path analysis). The results of this study concluded the first positive and significant influence of leadership style and compensation together or partially on work morale. Second, there is a positive and significant influence of leadership style, compensation and working spirit together or partially on the performance of employees in the Oversight Panwaslu Office in OKU Regency. This type of research is associative research. This research takes the title: “This type of research is associative research. This research takes the title: "The Role of Customer Satisfaction on the Causality Relationship Between Service Quality and Switch Intention (Study on Fitra Majalengka hotel visitors)”. The purpose of this study was to determine the partial effect of core service quality and encounter on switching intentions with the mediating factor of customer satisfaction. The population in this study were all visitors to the Fitra Majalengka hotel. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The number of respondents in this study was 120. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with AMOS 21 software. The results of this study indicate that 1) core service quality has no effect on switching intentions, 2) encounter service quality has no effect on switching intentions, 3) core service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, 4) encounter service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, 5 ) customer satisfaction has a negative effect on switching intentions, 6) customer satisfaction mediates the negative effect of core service quality on switching intentions, 7) customer satisfaction mediates the negative effect of encounter service quality on switching intentions. An important finding from this study is that it can confirm the concept of EDT in which customer satisfaction becomes a mediating variable between the relationship between core service quality and encounter with switching intentions.

This research aims to analyze the effect profitability to firm value with capital structure as moderating variable in agriculture companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The dependent variable used is firm value (PBV), the independent variable is profitability (ROA), and capital structure (DER) as a moderating variable. The sampling technique was purposive sampling so that the number of samples obtained was 9 companies, with an observation period of 2014-2017. This type of research is associative causal. The analysis technique used in this study is panel date regression (common effect modell) using eviews, with a significant level of 5 percent. Descriptive statistics were also included which included average, median, minimum, maximum, and std. deviation. The results of this study indicate that profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value and, capital structure is weaken on the relationship of profitability to firm value. Capital structure is a quasi moderating where as the effect of capital structure to firm’s value and the effect of capital structure interaction to firm’s value is also significant. Keywords: Profitability, Capital Structure, Firm Value

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between cigarette addiction, simultaneous smartphone addiction and self-control. The subjects who became respondents were students who live in the male dormitory of Satya Wacana Christian University, totalling 109 students as the population. The sampling technique chosen was purposive sampling with the criteria of students who were active smokers and were involved in using smartphones. The research method used is correlational quantitative. The sample consisted of 33 students. The analysis technique used is the multiple correlation formula. Based on the results of various correlation analyzes, the R-value is -0.350 in the opposite direction. For comparison, the Fcount value is found to be 2.128 and the F table with a significant 5% of 4,130. In other words, Fcount Ftable, which means there is no significant relationship. The results of this study found that there was no significant relationship between cigarette addiction, simultaneous smartphone addiction and self-control.

PurposeThe study aimed to examine the antecedents to self-service technology (SST) adoption behavior and the relationships between the constructs using empirical research.Design/methodology/approachBased on synthesis of the extant literature, a model was hypothesized, hypotheses were framed. Field data collected were analyzed using structural equation modeling.FindingsFew interesting findings were noted in this research. First, SST service quality had a direct positive linkage with perceived value, but no linkage with e-satisfaction. Second, strong positive linkage existed between perceived value and e-satisfaction. Therefore, the connection between SST service quality and satisfaction was completely mediated by perceived value. Third, no relationship existed between perceived value and behavioral intentions, but a direct positive relationship existed between e-satisfaction and behavioral intentions. Thus, the relationship of perceived value with behavioral intentions was fully mediated by e-satisfaction. Fourth, no direct connection was found between SST service quality and behavioral intentions. Rather, the connection was fully mediated by perceived value and e-satisfaction. Fifth, direct positive association was found between behavioral intentions and actual adoption of SST.Research limitations/implicationsThis empirical research was conducted primarily on the young population.Practical implicationsThe study will benefit managers in making better decisions on how to make SST work successfully for their organizations.Originality/valueFirst, this research further refined the SST adoption process of a customer, thus making a meaningful contribution to the literature on SST. Second, the research validated SSTQUAL scale in a different geographical setting.
