This study aimed to describe the success of the management of a language laboratory in improving students’ Arabic language competence. This was a qualitative descriptive study. The research findings show that the language learning process through the laboratory increased the students’ listening and speaking skill. The language learning process through the laboratory was supported by extracurricular activities. This activity also had a positive impact on language learning achievement of students who previously did not understand Arabic. Then, laboratory as a place for accommodating students’ talent such as laboratories was very helpful for students in the learning process; this was because the students could communicate directly with native speakers. The implementation of the development of teaching and learning activities using the Arabic language laboratory was directed to students through inservice training programs. The evaluation program was conducted by Arabic language lecturers to see the level of achievement obtained by students after finishing studying in two ways, namely competitive and non-competitive.

Language learning in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 is also influenced by technology information development, for example, on using an application in the teaching and learning process. The application is usually using as a medium for improving language skills or language components, such as vocabulary. One application is efficient and effective in teaching the Arabic language, especially Arabic language vocabulary is a Macromedia flash 8 application. The application can be used to solve the problem which still constraint the Arabic teacher and also the students. This article aims to research the Macromedia flash 8 application in learning Arabic vocabularies. This research used a research design method with procedures, need analysis, application design, application implementation, application evaluation, and application validation. The subject of this research was Islamic junior student's grade IX. The result showed that Macromedia flash 8 application was effective in improving students’ vocabulary, especially related to Islamic fasting, Ied Al-Adha, and hobby. They were presented using text, graphics, and animation.

The material and learning process in lectures to improve speaking skills and vocabulary at present generally still have a conventional pattern that is with the teaching and learning process such as lectures, giving material or topics to be discussed along with role play activities as well as structured assignments with media practice questions. Students who have received lecture materials with conventional methods tend to have a sense of boredom, this will certainly lead to a decline in the level of enthusiasm of student learning, as well as directly impacting the existence and presence of students in the lectures. Creative, innovative and interactive learning processes become problem solvers of this problem. This study contributes that is combining between giving lecture material creatively and innovatively by using information and communication technology media in the form of games in order to improve the ability and enthusiasm of students to learn speech and vocabulary material interactively. In this study, researchers used a game called Warspear which focused on communication that occurred between characters in the game. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method in the form of surveys, giving questionnaires, interviews and observations. The method is to answer the problem that the game can improve the ability of students in the scope of speaking and vocabulary and games are good learning tools, and have a positive impact on students.

This study aims to describe the method used by the teacher in teaching Arabic and the factors that support and hinder the learning process of Arabic, especially in Madasah Aliyah al Amiriyyah Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi. And this type of research is field research (field research) and this research is classified as qualitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study were Arabic teachers, students and principals. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation.Based on the observations made by the author on the Arabic Language Learning Medote applied at Madrasah Aliyah al Amiriyyah, it can be concluded that the methods applied by the Arabic teacher at Madrasah Aliyah are: translation method qiro'ah method direct method, audio visual method and mixed methods. As for the inhibiting factors in learning, namely: different backgrounds of students, students who are less active in participating in learning Arabic, and Madrassas whose facilities are lacking in the learning process. Supporting factors in learning are students' high interest in learning Arabic and a comfortable environment for the learning process.

The Arabic language has peculiarity and differentiating characteristics that distinguish it from other foreign languages. This study investigates the existence of Arabic language learning during the pandemic period by conducting a thorough review of the Arabic language learning process from both an internal and an external standpoint. The method of writing this article is based on a study of literature comparison. The author conducts an online search for primary literature using valid criteria, and a reputable source—data analysis is performed using the content analysis paradigm. This study demonstrated the positive impact on the internal environment: 1) Lecturers and students gained greater proficiency in using applications that can be integrated into the learning process. 2) The assignment method changes from academic to project-based assignments, 3) Students become more proficient in using social media as tools for learning. 4) Arabic learning occurs from any location and at any time of day. The internal negative consequences are as follows: 1) memorizing qawaid or tashrif, in which case it is not easy to assess students' abilities through online instruction without face-to-face interaction; 2) Explanation of the material when face to face is considered more straightforward; 3) Unstable networks cause the inability to concentrate and focus. The external consequences are as follows: 1) a large number of linguistic webinars about Arabic, 2) The number of research references, research articles, and scientific journals are growing; 3) It is becoming easier to hold memorandums of understanding between collages from different regions.

Teaching and learning process can be defined as a transformation process of knowledge from teachers to students. It is referred as the combination of various elements within the process where an educator identifies and establish the learning objectives and develop teaching resources and implement the teaching and learning strategy. On the other hand, learning is a cardinal factor that a teacher must consider while teaching students. The paper evaluated various academic journals, pedagogy and inclusive practices to assess the teaching effectiveness within the higher education setting. The objective of the research is to assess the teaching effectiveness in higher education setting. The research used experimental research methods (primarily reflection) using literary forms to analyse the theory with the reinforcement of the practice from the university experiences. The research findings suggests that, providing positive and adequate formative and developmental feedback, introduction of role play have profound positive impact on the confidence and self-esteem of the students. It was also revealed that, active learning environment promotes inclusivity and improve the faculty and student academic performances. The research findings will enable the educators to help create and implement an inclusive teaching and learning environment to improve the learner’s expectation and academic performance.

Abstract Even in our modern schools, it is not unusual to Dnd teach- ers whose practice is shaped primarily from their past experiences. In the traditional language teaching methods, teachers offer course materials in a classroom where students listen, take notes, copy ma- terials, execute homework and complete assignments. In many cases lecturers fail to transfer knowledge to students effectively despite personally having sound technical knowledge in the subject area. However, the challenge that faces the education environment has always been to ensure that the teaching and learning process takes place effectively in a classroom environment. This paper focuses on the author s experiences in implementing an active method in Ara- bic language teaching to promote effective student learning. It ex- plores speciDc pedagogical theories combined with school resources to improve the quality of teaching and student learning. A simpli- Ded educational method for improving the quality of the teaching and learning process is presented. The method called “Teratai sug- gested that the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process is depend on the effective facilitation of communication, involvement and interaction among students, teachers and course content. The article is intended to explore episthemological consepts, assump- tions, approaches, constructions, and applications of Teratai method in Arabic language teaching. The purpose of this discussion is to build the awareness of a variety of effective teaching ideas and tech- niques that a lecturer may consider in light of their current teaching styles and personalities. Multicultural presence required an appropriate response from Arabic teachers, so that Arabic is easily accepted and loved by various groups. This research aimed to analyze the efforts of Arabic teachers in dealing with multiculturalism and analyze the obstacles encountered in applying multicultural education in Arabic language learning. This qualitative descriptive research was conducted with interview and documentation. While the data analysis and processing techniques used in this study were processing and preparing the data for analysis, reading the entire data, starting coding all the data, coding to explain the settings, people, categories, themes analyzed, and describing the themes that will be presented again in the narrative/qualitative report. The results revealed that the efforts of Arabic teachers to confront multicultural were by reaffirming the unifying Arabic for Muslims, confirming Arabic as one of the International language, learning the essence of multicultural, improving didactic and methodical competencies, attending training, and modeling. The constraints of the application of multicultural education in Arabic language learning were lack of understanding of the essence of multicultural, lack of knowledge of learning methods and strategies, lack of literature, lack of syllabus and teaching materials contained multicultural education, lack of support from institutions, and lack of training and guidance.

Teaching and learning process using mobile application becomes one of alternative tools to substitute face-to-face learning during Pandemic Covid-19. The lecture process during the period has been experienced since March 2020 until the end of the even semester of the academic year 2019/2020. There were various obstacles felt by lecturers and students in the courses. Under normal conditions, learning Arabic as a foreign language is still faced with various problems. Since, there are no specific studies in this issues that have been conducted by experts for Indonesian context, we are interested to identify the perception of students and lecturers on the quality of Arabic teaching and learning process. This research uses qualitative method where the sources of data are students and lecturers of Arabic language education study program Faculty of Islamic Studies, Muhammadiyah University of West Sumatra. The data collection taken from interview by phone. The finding showed that the students and lecturers' perceptions of the quality of the online learning process are negative. Then, students’ and lecturers' perceptions of the quality of online Arabic learning outcomes are negative.

Learning is a process/effort/activity carried out by the individual to obtain a change in personality or behavior. The current learning process seems like a teacher filling an empty glass, or like a mother feeding her child food. The theory of learning humanism arises with the aim that learners can become responsible individuals, attentive to their environment, and have emotional and spiritual maturity. This article is a literature study and uses qualitative descriptive methods and tries to examine the theory of humanism learning and its implications in Arabic language learning. The results showed that humanism learning theory can be applied by formulating clear learning objectives, working on the active participation of learners, encouraging learners to think critically and dare to express opinions, and how a teacher in the learning process tries to understand the learner's way of thinking and give them an opportunity. And with the implementation of the theory of humanism learning, students are expected to be individuals who have good academic ability and morals so that in the future will reduce the problems and social deviations that exist; able to develop their abilities both in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor as well as being responsible individuals and having emotional maturity and being able to actualize themselves; students become more motivated to acquire new skills, skills and wider knowledge in Arabic language learning.
