Now in its second edition, Australian Uniform Evidence Law provides a clear, accessible introduction to the law of evidence. Following the structure of the Evidence Act 1995 (Cth), the text introduces students to basic principles, then covers more complex elements of evidence law. Cases and excerpts from legislation have been selected to guide students through the application of the Act. This edition has been updated to include significant recent case examples and decisions. Each chapter includes a summary of key points, definitions and practice questions to encourage students to apply their knowledge to realistic scenarios. The final chapter comprises longer-form, complex problems designed to test students' understanding of the concepts and rules covered in the Act as a whole. Guided solutions to each question are provided so students can check their understanding. Providing clear explanations and examples, Australian Uniform Evidence Law is an essential resource for all students of evidence law.

This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. This study aimed to identify forms of students’ conceptual and principle difficulties in solving integer story problems. The research participants were 34 fifth-grade elementary students. The purposive sampling technique was used to select research subjects based on the minimum completeness criteria value. Methods of data collection using tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that there were two types of difficulties for elementary school students in solving integer story problems, namely, conceptual difficulties and principle difficulties. The form of conceptual difficulties experienced by students is the difficulty in converting story problems into mathematical form. Besides that, students tend not to write down the steps according to solving story problems, and the principal difficulties experienced by students include errors in performing mathematical calculations. This can be minimized by increasing practice questions in the form of story problems.

This paper investigates student learning activeness as an important part of the formation and development of student potential. The aim of this paper is to describe the use of quizzes in lesson plans (practice questions) to encourage student activeness in online learning. Doing a field practicum program online presents its own challenges for teachers. One of them is related to the responses of students who are less active in learning. The solution applied is to use technology media for learning, namely using Quizizz to do practice exercises online. Divided into 10 implementation steps, the initial 8 steps are general steps such as making an online quiz on Quizizz while the last 2 steps are an adaptation done by the teacher himself. The implementation of this media in doing exercises shows that students are encouraged to be actively involved in learning. It can be seen in the attitude of those who are actively discussing (question & answer). This emphasizes the real practice of a Christian teacher in living his salvation through holistic learning design, for example by utilizing technology in the classroom to encourage active student involvement. This research has many weaknesses such as data validity, problem deepening, and technical problems in using Quizziz. This can be an evaluation and input for writers and readers.

AbstractProblem solving ability becomes the target of ability in mathematics so that teachers are required to provide questions that can train students' higher-order thinking skills and mathematical problem solving abilities. The purpose of this study was to analyze teacher-made questions and the level of students' problem-solving abilities in solving HOTS questions. This type of research is document analysis research. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class VIII SMP Pondok Pesantren Ulul Albab Makassar. Researchers collected practice questions, daily test questions, end of semester questions, and student answers. The questions were analyzed according to Bloom's cognitive taxonomy. Furthermore, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing are carried out. The results of the analysis show that these questions are dominated by the cognitive domains of understanding, knowledge, application, and analysis. The problem solving ability of students in working on HOTS questions is 70% in the less category, 15% in the sufficient category, 20% in the good category, and 0% in the very high category. Another finding from this study is the students' inability to solve problems, namely planning problem solving, problem solving and reviewing problem solving plans. The causes include students not routinely solving HOTS questions, teachers' concerns about students if they are not able to answer mathematics questions and teachers do not understand the form of HOTS questions. Thus, through this research, it is hoped that teachers can practice making HOTS-type mathematics problems or holding trainings on how to make HOTS-type mathematics problems.
