This study aimed to improve children’s capability in identifying Numeric Symbols by Playing the Bottle Caps Numbers in Group A at Play Groups BinaAna Prasa III Samarinda.  This study was classroom action research which is done collaboratively between researcher and classroom teacher. This study conducted for two cycles. Each cycle was held for four meetings. Subject of this study were 15 children from Class A, there were 8 male and 7 female. This study conducted on July – August academic year 2017/2018. Data collection technique used observation and documentation that can be analyzed by looking for the percentage of children’s success. The results of this study indicate that the ability of children to recognize the symbol of the numbers 1-10 can be increased through the activities of playing the bottle cap numbers. The increase can be seen from the percentage improvement of children who got the criteria very well. The result before doing a treatment who reached the criteria develops very well at 7% or 1 child and develops as expected there were 3 children by 20%. In cycle I, the percentage of criteria develops very well increased to 40% or 6 children and percentage grew as expected 40% or 6 children. In cycle II, which got the criteria very well also grew, there was an increase to 87% or 13 children and developed as expected with the percentage of 13% that was 2 children. It could be concluded that by playing bottle caps numbers, it could improve children’s capability in identifying Numeric Symbols in Group A at Play Groups BinaAna Prasa III Samarinda.

<p>The aim of this research to improve poetry writing skill through Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) based on Outdoor Study for third grade students at SD Negeri Soropadan 108 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018. This research form was Classroom Action Research. It conducted by two cycles. Each cycle consist of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data collection technique used interview, observation, test, and documentation. Data validity technique used content validity, resources triangulation, and technique triangulation. Data analysis technique consisted by data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The result of this research indicated improvement of  poetry writing skill of third grade students at SD Negeri Soropadan 108 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018 from preaction 29,73%, cycle I 54,05%, and cycle II 89,19%. The conclusion of this research indicated that through Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) based on Outdoor Study can improve student writing skill of third grade students at SD Negeri Soropadan 108Surakarta academic year 2017/2018.</p>

The purpose of this study was to obtain data on children's artistic abilities before the action was taken, the application of art ability improvement activities in learning to paint with wax, collecting data on children's artistic abilities after the action was taken and to find out the differences in children's artistic abilities before and after the action was taken. group A children in Kepanjenkidul I Kindergarten in Blitar City. This classroom action research uses the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. This research was carried out for 2 cycles, and each cycle consisted of 2 meetings, where each cycle consisted of the following stages: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were group A children, which consisted of 15 children, 9 boys and 6 girls. The instrument used is an observation sheet and documentation consisting of several indicators. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative data. The data collection technique used in this study is to assess performance using the demonstration method. The results of the analysis show that in improving students' painting skills quantitatively, there is an increase from the pre-action by 31.8%, the first cycle of action by. 57.8%, the second cycle of action is 81.5%. with a classical completeness of 75%. Thus, it can be stated that the improvement in the art of learning to paint with wax for group A children at the Kepanjenkidul I Kindergarten in Blitar City has increased. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data tentang kemampuan seni anak sebelum dilakukan tindakan, penerapan kegiatan peningkatan kemampuan seni dalam pembelajaran melukis dengan lilin, pengumpulan data pada kemampuan seni anak sesudah dilakukan tindakan dan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan kemampuan seni anak sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan tindakan pada anak kelompok A di TK Negeri Kepanjenkidul I Kota Blitar. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 2 siklus, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan, dimana masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap-tahap sebagai berikut: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah anak kelompok A yang berjumlah 15 orang anak, 9 anak laki-laki dan 6 anak perempuan. Instrument yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan dokumentasi yang terdiri dari beberapa indikator. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan data kuantitatif. Untuk teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan penilaian unjuk kerja menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Adapun hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan seni melukis peserta didik secara kuantitatif terjadi peningkatan dari pra tindakan sebesar 31,8%, tindakan siklus I sebesar. 57,8%, tindakan siklus II sebesar 81,5%. dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 75% . Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan seni pembelajaran melukis dengan lilin anak kelompok A di TK Negeri Kepanjenkidul I Kota Blitar sudah meningkat.

This article aims at problematizing the boundaries of what counts as focus group and in so doing it identifies some continuity between focus group and workshop, especially when it comes to arts informed and activity laden focus groups. The workshop [1] is often marginalized as a legitimate method for qualitative data collection outside PAR (Participatory Action Research)-based methodologies. Using examples from our research projects in East Africa and in London we argue that there are areas of overlap between these two methods, yet we tend to use concepts and definitions associated with focus groups because of the lack of visibility of workshops in qualitative research methods academic literature. The article argues that focus groups and workshops present a series of intertwined features resulting in a blending of the two which needs further exploration. In problematizing the boundaries of focus groups and recognizing the increasing usage of art-based and activity-based processes for the production of qualitative data during focus groups, we argue that focus groups and workshop are increasingly converging. We use a specifically feminist epistemology in order to critically unveil the myth around the non-hierarchical nature of consensus and group interaction during focus group discussions and other multi-vocal qualitative methods and contend that more methodological research should be carried out on the workshop as a legitimate qualitative data collection technique situated outside the cycle of action research.

This research aimed to improve the ability to recognize the symbol of number with playdough in Group A TK WijayaKusumah / Kartika XIX-26 Tawang District Tasikmalaya.This research was a classroom action research using Kemmis and Taggart model which was implemented in 3 cycles. The subjects of this study were 12 children of group A. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and documentation. Data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative.The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to recognize the symbols of number through playdough media in the children of group A TK WijayaKusumah / Kartika XIX-26 Tawang Tasikmalaya. This was indicated by the increase of observation result of cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III. Prior to the implementation of the act, the child's ability to recognize the number symbol on the criteria developed very well is 3 children or with an average percentage of 27.8%. In the implementation of cycle I, the ability of children to recognize the symbol of numbers on the criteria developed very well increased to 4 children or with average percentage of 30.6%. In the implementation of cycle II, the ability of children to recognize the symbol of numbers on the criteria developed very well increased to 8 children or with an average percentage of 63.9%. In the implementation of cycle III, the ability of children to recognize the number symbol on the criteria developed very well increased significantly to 10 children or with an average percentage of 86.1%. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan melalui media playdough pada anak kelompok A TK Wijaya Kusumah / Kartika XIX-26 Kecamatan Tawang Kota Tasikmalaya.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas  menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam 3  siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A yang berjumlah 12 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan melalui media playdough pada anak kelompok A TK Wijaya Kusumah / Kartika XIX-26 Kecamatan Tawang Kota Tasikmalaya. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan hasil observasi siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III. Sebelum dilaksanakan tindakan kemampuan anakmengenal lambing bilangan pada kriteria berkembang sangat baik rata-rata sebanyak 3 anak atau dengan rata-rata presentase 27,8%. Pada pelaksanaan siklus I, kemampuan anak mengenal lambing bilangan pada kriteria berkembang sangat baik meningkat menjadi 4 anakataudengan rata-rata presentase 30,6%. Pada pelaksanaansiklus II, kemampuan anak mengenal lambing bilangan pada kriteria berkembang sangat baik meningkat menjadi 8 anak atau dengan rata-rata presentase 63,9%. Pada pelaksanaan siklus III kemampuan anak mengenal lambing bilangan pada kriteria berkembang sangat baik meningkat signifikan menjadi 10 anak atau dengan rata-rata presentase 86,1%.

This research originated from the problem of low logical mathematical abilities of children and Bandung. This is what underlies the formulation of the problem (1) What is the objective condition of the logical mathematical abilities of early childhood in group A TK Nasywa Bandung? (2) How does the implementation of early childhood logical mathematical ability learning through cubical blocks in group A TK Nasywa Bandung? (3) How to improve the logical mathematical abilities of early childhood after using cuboid beam media in group A Nasywa Bandung Kindergarten? The research objective was to obtain an overview of the use of cubic beam media to improve the logical mathematical abilities of early childhood in group A Nasywa Kindergarten Bandung. The method used in this research is classroom action research (CAR), which is carried out in three cycles using 12 research subjects. This study uses data collection techniques, observation and documentation. Preliminary observations of logical mathematical abilities with an assessment of Not Developing amounted to 73%, Started to Grow by 26% and Developed Very Good by 1%. However, after using cubical beam media, children's logical mathematical abilities show optimal abilities. Percentage of logical mathematical ability of children of assessment has not developed by 0%, started to develop by 25% and develops very well by 75%. Based on these data, recommendations given to child educators can be an alternative medium to improve the logical mathematical abilities of early childhood.

This research aimed to find the use of Cue Card Method improves the students writing skill at Eight Grade Students of SMP Bajiminasa Makassar. The method of this research was classroom action research consisted of two cycles. One cycle consisted of four meeting. it meant that were eight meetings for two cycles. This classroom action research was done at SMP Bajiminasa Makassar for English subject. As a subject in this research was class VIII.A  Junior High School in the 2012-2013 academic year with student’ number as about 36 students’. Those consisted of 26 women and 10 men. the instrument was writing test and observation. The research findings indicated that the application of cue card method was effective and significant in improving the students’ writing skill, especially it focuses on students content and vocabulary. It was proved that the mean score of D-Test was 5.64, Cycle I 6.13 and after conducted Cycle II improved to 8.23 and based two cycle researcher found percentage improvement that is from D-Test to Cycle I is 13.24 % and from Cycle I to II is 29.70 and D-T to Cycle II 46.35 %. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the use of cue card method improves students’ writing skill and class condition. Therefore, it is recommended that the teachers use cue card media in teaching writing.Keywords: Writing Skill, Cue Card Method

Sebuah penelitian tindakan kelas telah dilaksanakan di kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Pamarican tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yaitu menerapkan metode demonstrasi dalam mata pelajaran PJOK pada kompetensi sepak bola. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran melalui metode demonstrasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sepak bola siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Pamarican tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dan untuk mengetahui efektifitas metode demonstrasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sepak bola siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Pamarican tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Variabel yang menjadi sasaran perubahan dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan sepak bola siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Pamarican tahun pelajaran 2019/2020, sedangkan variabel tindakan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode demonstrasi. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang berlangsung dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Pamarican tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 24 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Data hasil observasi dianalisis secara kualitatif. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari tiga tahap pokok, yaitu reduksi data, paparan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Data yang terkumpul menyatakan bahwa metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan sepak bola siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Pamarican tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Dari data yang dikumpulkan dari tindakan pra siklus, siklus 1, dan siklus 2, peneliti melihat adanya peningkatan dalam jumlah persentase siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas KKM sebesar 87.5%. Sedangkan peningkatan yang terjadi pada persentase penguasaan materi adalah sebesar 27.5%.A classroom action research has been carried out in the VA class of SD Negeri 1 Pamarican in the 2019/2020 academic year, namely applying the demonstration method in PJOK subjects on football competence. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning process through the demonstration method to improve the football skills of the VA class students of SD Negeri 1 Pamarican for the 2019/2020 academic year and to determine the effectiveness of demonstration methods to improve the football skills of VA class students of SD Negeri 1 Pamarican in the 2019/2020 academic year 2020. The variable that is the target of change in this study is the football ability of the VA class students of SD Negeri 1 Pamarican in the 2019/2020 school year, while the action variable used in this study is the demonstration method. The form of this research is classroom action research which takes place in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were 24 students of class VA SD Negeri 1 Pamarican in the 2019/2020 academic year. The data collection techniques used were observation and tests. Observation data were analyzed qualitatively. The data analysis technique consists of three main stages, namely data reduction, data exposure and drawing conclusions. The data collected states that the demonstration method can improve the football skills of VA class students of SD Negeri 1 Pamarican for the 2019/2020 school year. From the data collected from the pre-cycle action, cycle 1, and cycle 2, the researcher saw an increase in the percentage of students who scored above the KKM by 87.5%. Meanwhile, the increase in the percentage of mastery of the material was 27.5%.

ABSTRACTThis research uses classroom action research method (PTK) model Kemmis and MC. Tanggart, the research was conducted based on the findings of the problem of understanding about metamorphosis in B TK Negeri Pembina, this is because in learning only use oral course in the introduction or explanation does not use supporting media that will facilitate the child understand about metamorphosis. One way that researchers can use in improving the understanding of metamorphosis is by using media and media that is used the series image media. Serial drawings are drawings that have a continuous arrangement. The purpose of this research is to get a picture about the improvement of understanding about metamorphosis through serial drawing media. Subjects in this study that is a child group B TK Negeri Pembina Tasikmalaya City in the even semester of the academic year 2018 which amounted to 8 children who are considered difficult children understand metamorphosis and researchers act as classroom teachers. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. This research was conducted in 3 cycles and the result of the research that has been done shows the improvement of the teacher's ability in planning the learning, the ability of the teacher in managing the learning, the ability of the teacher in the use of drawing media series, the children's understanding about the metamorphosis and the children activity when engaging the drawing media series. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan MC. Tanggart, penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan temuan adanya masalah pemahaman tentang metamorfosis dikelmpok B TK Negeri Pembina, hal ini dikarenakan dalam pembelajaran hanya menggunakan lisan saja dalam pengenalan atau penjelasan tidak menggunakan media pendukung yang akan memudahkan anak memahami tentang metamorfosis. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan peneliti dalam meningkatkan pemahaman tentang metamorfosis yaitu dengan menggunakan media dan media yang digunakan yaitu media gambar seri. Gambar seri yaitu gambar yang mempunyai susunan yang berkesinambunga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu memperoleh gambaran tentang peningkatan pemahaman tentang metamorfosis melalui media gambar seri. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak kelompok B TK Negeri Pembina Kota Tasikmalaya pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2018 yang berjumlah 8 orang anak yang dianggap anak yang sulit memahami metamorfosis dan peneliti bertindak sebagai guru kelas. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan sokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus dan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukan peningkatan pada kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran, kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, kemampuan guru dalam penggunaan media gambar seri, pemahaman anak tentang metamorfosis dan aktivitas anak saat terlibat media gambar seri.

This study is intended to answer the problem in what way does the cooperative script improvement of students’ Reading Comprehension to the Eighth Grade Students’ of SMP Negeri Medan Jaya in the academic year 2016/2017. This study is classroom action research. The tools of data collection used observation, interview and test. On the first cycle the researcher used cooperative script to improve the students’ ability in comprehending on information of descriptive text about animal. The result of this research showed that the students ability in comprehending a descriptive text improved after applied the cooperative script. With this activity, students had more practice in reading. Besides, during the reading process students were active in asked and answered questions, this method also guide students to summarize the information of the passage. Consequently, the method successfully improved the students’ ability in reading comprehension of descriptive text.

This study aims to improve the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years in Mutiara Hati Krian Sidoarjo Kindergarten through storytelling method assisted by picture card media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles with three meetings in each cycle. The data collection technique used is descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative. The indicator of success in this study is if the average value of children's speaking ability through storytelling method assisted by picture card media has reached the very well developed criteria (BSB) with a percentage of 75%-100%. The results of this study indicate an increase in children's speaking skills through storytelling methods assisted by picture card media at Mutiara Hati Krian Sidoarjo Kindergarten gradually from pre-cycle, first cycle and second cycle. This is evidenced by the increase in the average speaking ability of children in the pre-cycle by 33%, increasing to 58% in the first cycle of action and reaching 92% in the second cycle of action. The results of this study are expected to provide information to institutions that handle early childhood or the general public who need information about the application of picture card-assisted storytelling methods to improve speaking skills in children aged 5-6 years.
