This article aims to strike a balance between online games that have some negative impacts and offline games (which are paired with the term sports or games) in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study because the source of the data is from the uti-utian of the Angkola tribe which originates from a written document titled "Adat budaya Batak Angkola menelusuri perjalanan masa". The results revealed three categories of uti-utian namely: children's games, dexterity, and the device to block. Cultural themes resulting from these three categories include: being able to practice fitness, agility, positive social interactions (cooperation, honesty, sportsmanship, solidarity, solidarity, tolerance, patience, agility, being smart in looking for opportunities, clever in finding solutions), learning to appreciate victory, tolerant defeat, clear-minded, and the most important thing is to be happy in life. Thus, this study can still be developed in further research by deepening the comparison of the types of online games that continue to develop which are equivalent to the types of offline games based on deeper arguments.

The more advanced the Indonesian education system, along with sophisticated science and technology, so the influence of globalization unwittingly turns out to have negative impacts such as the declining ethics of today's young manners. Efforts that can be used are giving moral lessons to the younger generation, especially students, because Indonesia is currently experiencing moral bankruptcy. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, which is a case study of D4 K3 students of FK UNS Surakarta. The results showed that there were still many D4 K3 students who did not understand ethics or proper manners in sending messages through online media to lecturers or education staff, most of whom used language that was not appropriate. The direct impact that can be drawn from research for students is that they become aware of both culture and social both to the lecturer and the surrounding community.

This started as a brief and simple survey aimed to measure the extent to which university lecturers were compelled to attend webinars after the WfH policy was in place, in terms of motivation, challenges and benefits of webinar attendance. The survey also tried to see how instructors would one of their duties under the University Instructors’ Three Principles, i.e. active engagement in online seminars (webinars). It applies the descriptive qualitative approach to identifying how they understand the aspect of social interaction. This study focuses on how instructors make use of webinar technology out of necessity that later proved, time-wise, to be more effective and efficient in organization. ‘Time’ can be managed in the most efficient way possible, and turns out to be a gift, in that it facilitates the enhancement of knowledge. However, webinars still cannot be substitutes for the sorely-missed social interactions.

Hutton’s business success and social mobility are viewed in the context of Birmingham’s industrial development, a booming land market, the lack of government regulation, and the diversity of religious practice. This chapter reveals the economic framework that allowed Hutton to amass wealth. Once he settled in Birmingham, he found new ways to develop business skills and make money. Early failure stiffened his resolve, taught him lessons, and led him to focus on selling paper, instead of books. Convinced of the future value of land, he made risky speculations and accumulated large debts. A case study compares Hutton’s response to the Industrial Revolution with that of his sister, Catherine Perkins. Hutton devoted all his energies to making money and buying estates. His sister found greater happiness in her religious faith and charity. Their opposing views about land, trade, money, and religion reveal a spectrum of personal responses to rapid economic change.

A common claim in disability studies is that industrialization has marginalized disabled people by limiting their access to paid employment. This claim is empirically weak and rests on simplified accounts of industrialization. Use of the British coal industry during the period 1780–1880 as a case study shows that reassessment of the effect of the Industrial Revolution is in order. The Industrial Revolution was not as detrimental to the lives of disabled people as has often been assumed. While utopian workplaces for disabled people hardly existed, industrial sites of work did accommodate quite a large number of workers with impairments. More attention therefore needs to be paid to neglected or marginalized features of industrial development in the theorization of disability. Drawing on historical research on disability in the industrial workplace will help scholars better understand the significance of industrialization to the lives of disabled people, both in the past and the present.
