Working Conditions and Their Importance for Eliminating Errors in the Order Picking Process, Using an E-Commerce Commercial Enterprise as an Example

The research presented herein aims to pinpoint the factors that cause errors in the order picking process in an e-commerce enterprise and to confirm or deny the assumption that these factors largely concern employees and their working conditions. Research method: A case study strategy, observation (non-compliance cards and identification of working conditions), and Lorenz–Pareto and Ishikawa were the methods used. Results: The research results indicate that working conditions are a key factor influencing the number of errors in the picking process. The usefulness of the research: The results show that paying particular attention to working conditions is not only good in the context of caring for the well-being of employees, but also as a means to reduce the number of errors and improve the pace of work. Limitations: Due to the methods used, which in turn result from the large variety of e-commerce entities, the research results are not universal and are limited to a specific situational context.

Pre-Examination Study Preparation and Its Effect on the Summative Test Score in General Mathematics of Grade 11 Senior High School Students of Dr. Carlos S. Lanting College

Examination weeks are the peaks of an academic year. The paper-and-pen test determines whether the learners are able to attain the specific educational standards set by the pedagogical curriculum they follow. The study wants to determine the pre-examination study preparation and its effect on the summative test score in general mathematics of grade 11 senior high school students of Dr. Carlos S. Lanting College. This study centers on two factors, the frequency and strategy of the student used on their pre-examination preparation. The descriptive and quantitative method of research is used in this study. As a results and conclusions in terms of pre- examination frequency, majority of the grade 11 senior high school students allotted one day (69.30%) before the examination 30 minutes to one hour (52.60%) as review time. The most preferred pre-examination study strategy of the respondents is rereading their textbooks and/or lecture notes (3.37 frequently). There is no significant positive correlation between the pre-examination study frequency and the summative test results, there is a significant positive correlation between Tracks and the summative test results and between the study strategy (rereading textbooks/lecture notes, and seeking assistance to parents) and the summative test results of the Grade 11 senior high school students of Dr. Carlos S. Lanting College. Lastly, avoid cramming, students spend at least three days of review before the examination for a better learning in a well managed time and engage their selves to the most significant favored review strategies that will give an impressive test results.

STRATEGI PENGELOLAAN DANA FILANTROPI DI MASA PANDEMI

ABSTRAKIndonesia memiliki potensi dana filantropi yang sangat besar, antara lain zakat, infaq dan dana sosial keagamaan lainnya (DSKL). Di Indonesia, dana filantropi tersebut dikelola oleh Badan Amil Zakat (BAZ) dan Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ). Salah satu LAZ yang ada di Indonesia Lembaga Amil Zakat Infaq Shodaqoh Muhammadiyah (LAZISMU), dan memiliki salah satu LAZISMU Daerah yakni LAZISMU Bojonegoro. Namun pada tahun 2020, kegiatan LAZISMU Bojonegoro terganggu dengan merebaknya pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan dana filantropi di lembaga tersebut pada tahun 2019 (sebelum pandemi) dan tahun 2020 (selama pandemi). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan strategi studi kasus eksploratori, dengan menggunakan data primer berupa wawancara dan data sekunder berupa dokumen. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LAZISMU Bojonegoro berhasil beradaptasi pada kondisi pandemi, dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya penerimaan dana filantropi sebesar Rp. 720.736.219, atau sebesar 30,05% dari tahun sebelumnya, dan pendistribusian sebesar Rp. 567.913.837, atau 25,09% dari tahun sebelumnya, dan meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas penyaluran di bidang ekonomi.Kata kunci: Pengelolaan, Dana Filantropi, Pandemi COVID-19, LAZISMU Bojonegoro. ABSTRACTIndonesia has the potential for huge philanthropic funds, including zakat, infaq and other socio-religious funds (DSKL). In Indonesia, the philanthropic fund is managed by the Amil Zakat Agency (BAZ) and the Amil Zakat Institute (LAZ). One of the LAZ in Indonesia is the Amil Zakat Infaq Shodaqoh Muhammadiyah Institute (LAZISMU), and has one of the Regional LAZISMUs, namely LAZISMU Bojonegoro. However, in 2020, LAZISMU Bojonegoro's activities will be disrupted by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine how philanthropic funds are managed at the institution in 2019 (before the pandemic) and in 2020 (during the pandemic). The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with an exploratory case study strategy, using primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of documents. The results of this study indicate that LAZISMU Bojonegoro has successfully adapted to pandemic conditions, as evidenced by the increase in the receipt of philanthropic funds amounting to Rp. 720,736,219, or 30.05% from the previous year, and the distribution was Rp. 567,913,837, or 25.09% from the previous year, and increasing the quality and quantity of distribution in the economic sector.Keywords: Management, Philanthropy Fund, COVID-19 Pandemic, LAZISMU Bojonegoro.

Empreendedorismo cultural e festa: uma Etnografia da Festa de São João do Porto em Portugal

As festas são espaços históricos e com relevância quando abordamos o estudo do empreendedorismo cultural. Uma festa centenária, que influenciou a cultura brasileira e é uma das mais importantes na Europa nos dias atuais, revela estratégias e inovações pertinentes para a pesquisa e a discussão no campo do empreendedorismo cultural. Este trabalho, portanto, tem como objetivo compreender a relevância e estratégias do empreendedorismo cultural na festa do São do Porto. Para tal, serão discutidas no âmbito teórico e prático, as ideias de empreendedorismo cultural, identidade cultural e juventude, no contexto de uma festa. Como resultado, são apresentados, através da metodologia etnográfica, com a estratégia do estudo de caso, e com apoio das técnicas fotográficas e fílmicas, os elementos teóricos e práticos que constituem a longevidade e potencial de crescimento da festa do São João do Porto em Portugal. This work, therefore, aims to understand the relevance and strategies of cultural entrepreneurship in the São do Porto festival. To this end, the ideas of cultural entrepreneurship, cultural identity and youth will be discussed in the theoretical and practical scope, in the context of a party. As a result, the theoretical and practical elements that constitute the longevity and growth potential of the São João do Porto festival in Portugal are presented, through the ethnographic methodology with the case study strategy, and with the support of photographic and filmic techniques. Para ello, las ideas de emprendimiento cultural, identidad cultural y juventud serán discutidas en el ámbito teórico y práctico, en el contexto de una fiesta. Como resultado, se presentan los elementos teóricos y prácticos que constituyen la longevidad y potencial de crecimiento del festival São João do Porto en Portugal, a través de la metodología etnográfica con la estrategia de estudio de caso, y con el apoyo de técnicas fotográficas y fílmicas. It’s Practice. But is it Strategy? Reinvigorating strategy-as-practice by rethinking consequentiality

In this essay we revisit the radical agenda proposed by strategy-as-practice scholars to study strategy as it emerges within people’s practices. We show that, while much progress has been made, there is still a dominant focus on articulated strategies, which has implications for what is seen as strategic. We anchor our argument in the notion of consequentiality – a guiding yet, ironically, constraining principle of the strategy-as-practice agenda. Our paper proposes a deeper understanding of the notion of strategy as ‘consequential’ in terms of both what is important to a wider range of actors and also following the consequences of these actors’ practices through the patterns of action that they construct. In doing so, we offer a conceptual and an empirical approach to reinvigorating the strategy-as-practice agenda by inviting scholars to take a more active role in field sites, in deciding and explaining what practices are strategic.

RESEARCH OF THE STRATEGY OF BEHAVIOR IN A CONFLICT SITUATION OF THE FUTURE POLICE OFFICER

Описаны результаты исследования «Стратегия и тактика поведения в конфликтной ситуации», проведенного среди слушателей курсов подготовки иностранных специалистов СибЮИ МВД России первого года обучения. The article deals with the problem of behavior in the conflict of the future police officer. The definition of the conflict is given, its classifications are given. The article describes the results of the study "Strategy and tactics of behavior in a conflict situation", conducted among students of the training courses for foreign specialists of the Siberian Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the first year of training.
