Internalization and actualization of the values of the Al-Qur'an on the functions of a leader are considered not urgent, of course it is a group or group thought that does not understand Islam in a kaffah (comprehensive) manner. If we examine the Qur'an comprehensively, of course, it does not only study the faith and ubudiyah, but all aspects of life including those related to the functions and duties of leaders. Thus, the values and principles of leadership function contained in the Al-Qur'an must serve as the main guide in his leadership. The importance of the actualization of Al-Qur'an values for the function of a leader lies in the goal of human creation. Thus, it is considered important to actualize the values of the Al-Qur'an on the function of the leader in carrying out his functions and duties. Among the functions of a leader as hinted at in the Al-Qur'an are establishing prayers, welfare for the weak, cooperation in increasing faith, piety and good deeds, preventing munkar, upholding justice and truth, enforcing deliberation.

The purpose of this research is to explain the importance of the student organizations and describe their efforts to improve the speaking skills of students at the Mahad Khalid Bin Al Waleed at the University of Muhammadiyah Mataram. This research uses the qualitative approach with the descriptive type. The result shows the student organizations play an important role based on their objectives and functions. The objectives are to help the foundation and all parties in the Ma'had develop the students’ potential and qualification, and to be the place for the students to share their problems and complaints, while the functions are as one of the media to develop students’ quality, both the members of the non-member, and as the good examples and pioneers of any good deeds. The efforts done by student organizations in improving speaking skills are such as by making activities that lead to improving students' speaking skills like sticking vocabularies in each class and Friday activities such as language game, Arabic debate and short lecture.

This book documents in a comprehensive manner the 'twists and turns' in India's industrial policy and strongly suggests the need for a re-orientation of this policy to overcome the weaknesses in the industrial structure and to utilize the sources of its strength. The author has had a distinguished career in the Indian Economic Service and brings this experience to bear on his analysis of the evolution of industrial policy in India. In India, the primary objective of planned development has been the creation of a technologically mature society capable of sustaining a process of self-propelled growth without extreme concentration of wealth in a few hands. It is rightly pointed out in the book that this objective is possible only in the context of rapid growth, which is the ultimate test of industrial policy. The book traces the origins of India's industrial policy and analyses its evolution during the past thirty years, showing how there has been an increasing gap between the objectives of this policy and the performance of the industrial sector.

Recently proposed models of moral cognition suggest that people’s judgments of harmful acts are influenced by their consideration both of those acts’ consequences (“outcome value”), and of the feeling associated with their enactment (“action value”). Here we apply this framework to judgments of prosocial behavior, suggesting that people’s judgments of the praiseworthiness of good deeds are determined both by the benefit those deeds confer to others and by how good they would feel to perform. Three experiments confirm this prediction. After developing a new measure to assess the extent to which praiseworthiness is influenced by action and outcome values, we show how these factors make significant and independent contributions to praiseworthiness. We also find that people are consistently more sensitive to action than to outcome value in judging the praiseworthiness of good deeds, but not harmful deeds. This observation echoes the finding that people are often insensitive to outcomes in their giving behavior. Overall, this research tests and validates a novel framework for understanding moral judgment, with implications for the motivations that underlie human altruism.

Financial performance of individual organizations differ very significantly, however, the performance is distinguishable between public sector companies and private sector companies as their nature and size of investment and business environment is different . The ECIL is a very vast growing company which requires additional funds on a regular basis, whether internal or external. Particularly, the company needs both long term and short-term finances in view of its present position and enormous scope for improvement in the services provided. The present paper is a modest attempt to discuss the financial performance analysis of ECIL, Hyderabad in terms operating profits, capital employed ratios and turnover in a comprehensive manner over a period of 10 years.

AbstractTimely and accurate duplication of DNA prior to cell division is a prerequisite for propagation of the genetic material to both daughter cells. DNA synthesis initiates at discrete sites, termed replication origins, and proceeds in a bidirectional manner until all genomic DNA is replicated. Despite the fundamental nature of these events, a uniform method that identifies origins of replication in a comprehensive manner is still missing. Here, we present currently available and discuss new approaches to map replication origins in mammalian genomes.

This paper presents the dynamic analytical solution of a piezoelectric stack utilized in an actuator and a generator based on the linear piezo-elasticity theory. The solutions for two different kinds of piezoelectric stacks under external load were obtained using the displacement method. The effects of load frequency and load amplitude on the dynamic characteristics of the stacks were discussed. The analytical solutions were validated using the available experimental results in special cases. The proposed model is able not only to predict the output properties of the devices, but also to reflect the inner electrical and mechanical components, which is helpful for designing piezoelectric actuators and generators in a comprehensive manner.

It has been established that the efficiency of agriculture, as the central link of the agro-industrial complex, has a multi-purpose nature and can be represented as a system of republican, regional or territorial and economic efficiency. The concept of cluster effects is defined. In the development of the above, the principles for assessing the effectiveness of cluster formations are formulated. It has been established that under the assessment of the effectiveness of the organizational and economic mechanism of clustering, it is important to understand the analysis of all types of results in accordance with the goals of creating a cluster. At the same time, various cluster organizations in the agro-industrial complex can have a wide range of goals: ensuring sustainability, increasing production volumes, minimizing costs, etc. In this regard, the assessment of the effectiveness of the functioning of the cluster should be carried out in a comprehensive manner: a) from the standpoint of specific organizations included in the association; b) from the standpoint of the effectiveness of the functioning of the cluster as a whole; c) from the standpoint of the compliance of the cluster's goals with the methods of achieving them; d) from the standpoint of the consistency of the cluster's activities with the macroeconomic tasks of the agro-industrial complex.

ABSTRACTThis research aims to analyze psychological biases that occur when investors make risky investment decisions. There are five behavioral factors analyzed (herding, overconfidence, disposition effect, conservatism, and availability). Financial literacy is used as moderator in analyzing the effect of those bahaviors towards risky investment decisions. This research examines four econometric equations in explaining financial literacy as a moderator. Interaction effect testing is carried out using moderating variable regression. The results show that psychological biases occur in making risky investment decisions. Herding behavior, overconfidence, disposition effect, and conservatism show a positive effect, while availability does not show a significant effect. Testing on the interaction model finds that financial literacy is able to reduce these psychological biases. This finding also explains the managerial implications that investors with high levels of financial literacy have the potential to experience relatively low psychological biases compared to investors with limited levels of financial literacy. In terms of limitations, this research uses a questionnaire survey that has not been able to reveal aspects of investor behavior in a comprehensive manner. In addition, the number of respondents who are more dominated by beginner investors also adds to the limitations in carrying out the generalization.
