The purpose of the work is to substantiate the hygienic criteria of architectural and planning decisions of the educational space to ensure sanitary and epidemiological conditions of life of primary school students. Taking into account foreign experience. The conducted researches allowed: - to identify, in a retrospective analysis of the provision of the child population schools I, I-II, I-III degree, reducing the number of schools for 30 years by 30% and increasing the number of students only in the last three years by 323 thousand, which dramatically increased the burden on existing schools; - identify violations of the principle of proportionality of construction of new residential build-ings and the required number of schools for residents of new buildings, according to which new schools are not built, which leads to the use of schools located above the regulatory distance and causes their excess capacity; - to establish that in Ukraine the norm of the territory of school grounds for pupils of primary school age is 2-4 times less, than in other European countries; - to establish that sanitary normative distances between the educational institution and adjacent residential and public buildings were observed in 91% of rural school projects, while in urban ones only in 71%, which caused compaction of the settlement territory; - to determine in modern educational programs the absence of need in the territories of training-production and training-research zones (training grounds, research sites, greenhouses, geographical areas, etc.) and to recommend their use in sports, play and recreation zones in functioning schools; - to substantiate the need to take into account the territories of training and research and training and production areas in the design of specialized schools; - to determine that every third city school functioned with exceeding the normative indicator on class size by more than 23%, which leads to congestion of students and deterioration of sanitary and hygienic conditions and living conditions in schools; - to establish that the norms of natural air exchange during education are not observed and amount to 9 m3/h per child (if necessary 16 m3/h), which does not ensure air quality in the classroom and affects the deterioration of health and reduced efficiency of students; - to establish that for the implementation of the concept of a new Ukrainian school in the func-tioning schools there is a deficit of the area of the educational premises of the primary school in 16%; - to identify in the daily routine of students of grades 1-4 in 30% of cases the replacement of active motor games in the open air with activities with static mode ("sitting" mode) by increasing the duration of homework and attending extracurricular activities with extracurricular activities; - to establish the existence of close relationships between direct and indirect indicators of architectural and planning decisions, which are part of the formation of educational space, and the determinants of health of primary school students; - to substantiate a set of preventive measures and proposals for the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Regional Development in order to prevent the development of "school" occupational diseases of primary school students at the design stage of new and reconstruction of existing schools.

Purpose The aim of this clinical focus article is to discuss Auditory Verbal UK's (AVUK) training program for prospective listening and spoken language specialist certified auditory verbal (AV) therapists delivered globally via telepractice. Since 2015, AVUK has delivered training via telepractice to 18 countries. Consideration is given to the barriers and challenges of training across geographical and cultural boundaries, including access to technology, cultural and linguistic difference of families and trainees, and the differing global states of audiological practice for early intervention. Some possible solutions are offered. Although there have been calls for international consensus on early intervention, the reality of provision across Europe differs especially in the wake of COVID-19. From a global perspective, audiology and early intervention services differ considerably. Some countries are not up-to-date with the latest hearing technology and do not have access to tuning for cochlear implants or the technology required for families to attend therapy via telepractice. Conclusions With appropriate technology, telepractice is a viable means of providing training in AV therapy. It builds communities across geographical areas, breaking down boundaries and facilitating global collaboration. Although considerable differences remain in both service provision and access to services across different countries, the passion of trainees worldwide and the good will of the AV community in supporting our colleagues give reason for optimism going forward.

This study examined the perceptions, attitudes and beliefs of pre-service teachers using the iPad for their professional learning purposes and for teaching during their school placements. The sample consisted of 117 pre-service teachers undertaking a one-year postgraduate qualification in England to gain qualified teaching status (QTS). A mixed methods design was employed to collect data using questionnaires and focus groups and the results showed how students' beliefs and attitudes, categorised as second order barriers, are significant factors in determining how effectively mobile technologies are used as a teaching and learning tool. Whilst the research literature suggests access, infrastructure and training, are diminishing as significant barriers for technology adoption, this study found that first-order barriers such as these still remain a significant challenge for pre-service teachers attempting to learn with and use mobile technologies in their practice. The article concludes with implications for practice in teacher education, theory and areas for further research.

Various pieces of information and knowledge turn into “know-how” simply by their application in the market. This applies to all spheres of activities. It is therefore important to know and understand the requirements of customers already in the stage of making a product, and to confront these with the possibilities of a producer. In this article we are exploring the possibilities of a better understanding of the requirements of customers and stakeholders in the process of the creation of products in educational services. In particular, we examined seven general requirements: practice orientation, ethical orientation, research orientation, quality resources, innovation orientation, skills orientation, and quality staff. We use the Kano model on a pilot sample of respondents at an institution of higher education. Our results showed that “practice orientation” and “quality resources” are the most stable requirements, while “quality staff” is the least stable. The most linear requirement (the same effect on satisfaction and dissatisfaction) is “innovation orientation”. “Research orientation” belongs to attractive requirements and we also found that in the case of “ethical orientation” there are weak relations between positive and negative responses in our survey. The “skills orientation” proved to be too general, and our research shows that it could be indifferent. It is therefore advisable to specify the investigated skills when investigating requirements on educational services. The main contribution based on the proposed research procedures is an effective linking of customers and producers already from the beginning of constructing a value chain. Investing in sophisticated management approaches when modelling products and processes can thus become a significant source of the competitive advantage of an educational institution. At the same time, it is a contribution to better placing of its graduates in the labor market.

The aim of the article is to present the state of environmental knowledge of young people. Contemporary perception of environmental problems has been evaluated in recent decades. More and more often are the problems related to climate change and our role in activities to maintain the values of the natural environment directly visible. The implementation of the idea of sustainable development not only in economic but also social life creates opportunities for both broadening one’s knowledge and taking actions for nature. Environmental awareness presented in the article is based on the assessment of the state of ecological knowledge. The research, on the basis of which the article was developed, was carried out in 2004 on a group of students from Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and was repeated in 2019. The research was carried out in a group of students of the faculty of Economics. The obtained results indicated that the main sources of acquiring knowledge on topics related to the environment are changing, and the role of education and training in the educational institution is increasing. On the other hand, the level of ecological awareness, expressed in the state of knowledge, varies in terms of subject matter. In the case of defining the five researched terms, it was possible to observe a higher correctness of the assignment of terms and their definition among the respondents from the second survey carried out in 2019. The respondents from the repeated survey also showed a higher level of knowledge in the field of knowledge of national parks in Poland.

The implementation of ASN competency development is closely related to the quality of education and training provided by the Educational Institution (Lemdik). The National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) as the agency assigned the task of fostering the implementation of education and training for ASN employees has conducted quality assurance to ensure the implementation quality of the education and training. Even though quality assurance has been carried out routinely, training problems still arise. This study aims to analyze the implementation of accreditation as a quality assurance process carried out by Educational Institutions. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through document review, FGDs, and in-depth interviews. The results of the study showed that the implementation of accreditation has not been able to portray aspects of leadership and organizational commitment as part of quality assurance. The results of the study found that the fulfillment of data and information in the implementation of accreditation had not been carried out routinely. From these findings, the results of the study recommended that the quality assurance process must be viewed from the management cycle. Besides, there also needs an improvement in data and information management systems. Keywords: State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Quality Management, Accreditation, Competency Development Abstrak Pelaksanaan pengembangan kompetensi ASN berkaitan erat dengan kualitas penyelenggaraan diklat yang diberikan oleh Lembaga Pendidikan (Lemdik).
