 Abstract The purpose of thi research is to describethe ability of solving problems through the application of learning with a problem based teaching materials on the subject of vector analysis 4th semester students of mathematics education study program in the academic year 2015/2016. This study used a qualitative approach with classroom action research participants. The hallmark of the classroom action research done in the cycles. Each cycles consists of four phases: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of this research is: (1) that students problem solving abilities views of mastery learning students has increased 23% , (2) From the average value of problem solving ability of students increased by 4,2 after improvements in cycle II, (3) Based on observation, the learning process has increased by 9,1% and student activities increased by 6,25%, (4) The all object of the interview stated that they were pleased with applied learning. From all the research results have shown that this research has met the success criteria set.

This classroom action research aims at improving statistical problem solving ability through the implementation of open ended problems in the students of MFB E semester VI STIPAR Triatma Jaya in the academic year 2016/2017. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research in which subject was student MFB E semester VI STIPAR Triatma Jaya consisted of 25 students. Data of problem solving ability were collected by using a problem-solving test in the form of essay test. Data of problem solving abilities were analyzed quantitatively. The results of this study show that: (1) implementation of open ended problem can improve the statistical problem solving ability of student MFB E semester VI STIPAR Triatma Jaya year lesson 2016/2017. In cycle I, the students’ average problem solving ability reached 70.28, whereas in cycle II the average value of problem solving ability was successfully increased into 80.08. These results indicate that there has been an increasing in the average score of problem-solving abilities by 9.8 from cycle I to cycle II. (2) Implementation of open ended problem can improve students' statistics learning mastery MFB E semester VI STIPAR Triatma Jaya year lesson 2016/2017. In cycle I the percentage of mastery was 68%, while in cycle II the percentage of learning mastery was successfully increased to 88%. These results indicate that there has been an increasing in percentage mastery learning by 20% from cycle I to cycle II.

This study aims to improve language skills (listening, reading, speaking, and writing) KPI Study Program students Semester VI 2017/2018 Academic Year, Da'wah and Communication Department, IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung through reportage techniques. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The design in PTK consists of three cycles in which there are four components in each cycle, namely planning, implementing actions, results of actions, and reflection. In this CAR, researchers used the Elliot model with modifications. This research is the result of learning from the Indonesian Language Discourse course for KPI. The subjects in this study were the sixth semester students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program (KPI) totaling 9 students. The results showed that in the first cycle, the average grade was 74.66 with a fairly good category. In cycle II students' language skills experienced a slight increase. This can be seen from the average grade, which is increased to 79.66 with a good enough category. The increase in the average grade from cycle I to cycle II is 5.00. In cycle III there was a significant increase with 85.77 class average value. Language skills in cycle III can be categorized as good. As for increasing the average grade from cycle II to cycle III, which is 6.11.

This research aims: (1) to enhance students’ learning achievement in the subject of brake system class XI TKRA SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sleman and (2) to improve students’ learning activeness in the subject of brake system class XI TKR A SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sleman in the 2015/2016 academic year.This study is classroom action research done in 3 cycles which each cycle held in 4 stages, namely: planning, implementing, observation and reflection. This research was done in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sleman class XI TKR A in the 2015/2016 academic year with 40 students as the subjects. The data were collected using test, observation and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative technique.The results indicate that the implementation of demonstration method and film media shows the enhancement of learning achievement and activeness in the students of class XI TKR A SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sleman on the subject of brake system in every cycle. It is shown by the improvement of students’ learning achievement test in cycle I which pre-test average value is 60.37 while post-test average value is 69.75. Thus, students’ learning achievement increases 9.38. In cycle II, it is obtained that the pre-test average value is 62.62 while the post-test average value is 75.25. Therefore, students’ learning achievement increases 12.63. In cycle III, the pre-test average value is 65.25 and the post-test average value is 82.75. Moreover, students’ learning activeness in the cycle I 42% increases 26% in the cycle II into 68 % and improves 19.50% in the cycle III to 87.50 %. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the implementation of demonstration method and film media are able to improve students’ learning achievement and activeness on the subject of brake system class XI TKR A SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sleman in the 2015/2016 academic year.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ranah kognitif dan afektif mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Persamaan Diferensial melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT pada semester V program studi pendidikan matematika  FKIP Unram tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Pada siklus ketiga, pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT telah berjalan secara optimal dengan ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa sebesar 88,89%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi khususnya pada mata kuliah Persamaan Diferensial.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe NHT, Persamaan Diferensial Abstract: This research aims at  increasing students cognitive and affective understanding in differential equation subject by applying NHT cooperative learning  model at semester V of mathematical education study program, Mataram University, academic year 2011/2012. This research is a classroom action research which is carried out in 3 cycles. In the last cycle, it is shown that NHT  cooperative learning has run optimally with the learning exhaustiveness achieved 88,89%. This result indicates that NHT cooperative learning can be made as one of instruction models in university, especially in differential equation subject.Key Words : NHT cooperative learning, differential equation

The background of this research is the low of mathematics learning result of grade 1 student of SDN 004Tembilahan Kota, for that done perbaiakan learning process by applying method of discussion. This researchwas conducted in SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota with the subject of research is the first grade students with 36students. This research is a classroom action research conducted two cycles. Based on the results of theresearch, it is found that the use of the method of disuksi can improve the students' learning outcomes aboutknowing and determining the length and weight with nonstandard units using concrete objects / concretesituation in the initial data, the total number of completed students is 12 students (33.3%) average 55.83. In thefirst cycle has increased the number of students who complete is 26 students (77.22%) with an average value of80.00. In the second cycle has increased with the total number of students who completed is 32 students (88.89)with an average value of 88.06.

The background of this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri 011 Desa Baru, to overcome this problem a classroom action research was conducted by applying fraction card media. This research was conducted in SD Negeri 011 Desa Baru, the subject of this study was class VI students with a total of 24 students. The results of this study show that mathematics learning outcomes have increased in pre-cycle average value obtained is 59.8, in the first cycle obtained an average value of 68.3. And in the second cycle obtained an average value of 82.9. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes in simple fraction material increase after the fraction card media are applied.

Teacher has a very important role in creating an exciting and enjoyable learning environment in math lessons.Learning atmosphere is not exciting and fun for students usually to create learning activities that are less harmonious.As in SD 06 Perawang Barat is still low learning achievement of mathematics students, especially VD class with the number of students 32 people.Based on the mathematical repetition value of grade VD students contained in table 1 can be concluded that most students have not reached the established KKM that is 60 in 2012/2013           Another effort that teachers do is to provide practice questions (PR). Then the teacher also repeats the material that the students have not understood. But the effort made by the teacher has not achieved the expected result; low student learning achievement to mathematics is a material for researchers, that the need for mathematics learning that can improve the results of learning mathematics.               The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student achievement on the subject matter of the fractional matter in the VD SDN 06 Perawang Barat class in the even semester of the academic year 2012/2013?       The form of this research is collaborative classroom action research, in collaborative classroom action research involving teachers, principals, and outsiders in one team simultaneously, with the aim of improving learning outcomes, the development of theory and teacher performance improvement. This team relationship is a partnership, meaning that the position of team members with each other is the same that aims to think about the issues to be studied in classroom action research. In this case the researcher serves as a teacher. Action will be done is in order to improve the results of teaching mathematics at class VD SDN 06 in Perawang Barat.               The data in this study were collected with observation sheet and mathematics learning result test. Observations were made to the activities of the students and teachers during the learning process for each meeting by filling out the observation sheets that have been filled in by observing the observation sheets of each teacher and student behavior on the observation sheet. While data is about mathematics learning result collected through daily test (UH1) and daily test (UH2) which contains problem based on indicator that will be achieved based on lattice test result of learning.               The data obtained in this research is then analyzed through descriptive analysis.Descriptive data analysis aims to describe data about student learning outcomes on subject matter using in problem solving.               Based on the results of research and discussion concluded that the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student learning achievement at VD SDN 06 in Perawang Barat class on the subject matter using fractions in problem solving.

The purpose of this study is to trace the extent of the use of Bengkulen folklore in the process of teaching and learning rhetorical subject. The study is a descriptive research which tries to portray the exercise of teaching rhetorical subject in which Bengkulen folklore is included. This study applies qualitative approach. The research subject deals with the fifth semester students of class A from the study program of Indonesian Language Teaching (FKIP) of Bengkulu University in the academic year of 2016-2017. The study results in that student activities change into positive direction in learning by folklore. The application of folklore to the students can improve their skill in rhetoric or public communication. It can be seen from the grades they achieve and the extent of their finishing the subject. Based on the data analyzed, the result shows that there 21 students who receive grade up 70 and their fulfillment in learning reaches 90, 84%.

The aim of this study was to improve the learning achievement and activities of students through the implementation of the Problem Solving learning method in Mol Concept. This study was conducted by using two cycles of classroom action research. The subject of this research was 25 students of class X-2 MAN Rukoh Banda Aceh. The result of the implementation of learning Problem Solving method showed that there is improvement of student learning achievement from Cycle I to Cycle II. It could be seen from the results of research that showing about 64% of students had passed learning in Cycle I and about 88% in Cycle II. While the observation was conducted, the improvement of learning activities of students amounts 50%. Based the result of this study, it is can be concluded that the implementation of learning Problem Solving method can improve the learning achievement and activities of the student in Mol Concept.

This study aims to determine whether the type cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) can improve mathematics learning creativity in students of SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Medan in particular on the subject of Perimeter and Area of Rectangle class VII T.P second semester 2014/2015. The research is a classroom action research (PTK) using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). The instrument used was a test as much as 5 about the shape of the description and in the observation is the creativity of student learning. The subjects were students / student of class VII-C SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Medan totaling 38 people consisting of 21 male students and 17 female students. The object of this research is the creativity of mathematics learning using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). Obtaining the average value of the creativity of the students at an early test of 41.26% (Less), the first cycle increased to 59.15% (Enough), and the second cycle increased to 79.10% (Good). It can be concluded that the cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) on the subject of the circumference and area of a rectangle increased creativity of mathematics learning in class VII-C SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Medan T.P.2014 / 2015.
