Firm value is an important factor for the company, because the firm value is not only a determinant of the condition of the company, but it can also attract investors to invest in the company. High stock prices make the market believe in the company's current performance and also the company's future prospects. This means that company managers must think about the company's image in the eyes of shareholders by implementing corporate social responsibility. Other factors which are the internal characteristics of the company that are able to influence firm value are liquidity, leverage, company size, and profitability. This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate social responsibility on firm value with the control variables of liquidity, leverage, company size, and profitability in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017–2019. This study used purposive sampling technique with 156 observation data using multiple linear regression. The results of this research indicate that corporate social responsibility has no effect on firm value, while the control variables firm size and profitability have an effect on firm value, and liquidity and leverage have no effect on firm value.

<p><em>This study aims to measure and analyze corporate social responsibility and profitability of the value of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Samples which are companies engaged in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2015-2017 period. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 55 companies. The data collected is secondary data with the documentation method through www.idx.com. Testing is done using multiple regression analysis. The analytical tool used to measure hypotheses is SPSS 24. The results of this study are (1) CSR that is positive for the value of the company. (2) Positive profitability towards the value of the company. (3) Profitability moderates the positive influence of CSR on firm value.</em></p>

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan, umur perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap tanggung jawab soaial perusahaan, profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan, ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas, umur perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening, dan umur perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian mengambil sampel perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI).  Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder berupa laporan tahunan perusahaan. Selama periode 2014-2018, terdapat 142 perusahaan manufaktur, dan populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 42 perusahaan. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu metode pengambilan sampel yang ditetapkan oleh peneliti sesuai dengan kriteria tertentu sehingga total sampel adalah 19 perusahaan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan path analysis.  Hasil penelitian meliputi (1) ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan, (2) umur perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap tanggung jawab soaial perusahaan, (3) profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan, (4) ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas, (5) umur perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas, (6) ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening, (7) umur perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening.Kata Kunci :   ukuran perusahaan, halaman perusahaan, tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan, profitabilitas.AbstractThis study aims to examine whether company size has an effect on corporate social responsibility, company age has an effect on corporate social responsibility, profitability has an effect on corporate social responsibility, company size has an effect on profitability, company age has an effect on profitability, company size has an effect on responsibility social enterprise with profitability as an intervening variable, and company age affect corporate social responsibility with profitability as an intervening variable. Samples were selected by purposive sampling technique, which is the sampling method determined by researchers in accordance with certain criteria so that the total sample is 19 companies. Data were analyzed using path analysis. This study aims to analyze and test the effect of profitability, leverage, and managerial ownership on firm value with the moderating variable, namely Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The population used in this study is all manufacturing companies that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the last three years, namely 2017-2019. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling technique. The results of this study explain that profitability and leverage do not have an effect on firm value, while managerial ownership has a negative effect on firm value. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is able to moderate the effect of profitability and managerial ownership on firm value, while Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is unable to moderate the effect of leverage on firm value.

The objectives of this study are; firstly, to examine the effect of profitability on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure; secondly, to examine the effect of leverage on CSR disclosure; thirdly, to examine the effect of company size on CSR disclosure; fourth, to find out whether the effect of leverage on CSR disclosure will be more significant with the inclusion of the variable of majority ownership as moderating variable; fifth, to find out whether the effect of profitability on CSR disclosure will be more significant with the inclusion of the variable of majority ownership as moderating variable. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique with 50 manufacturing companies during the period 2011- 2012 which fulfilled the required criteria as the research sample. They were analyzed moderation regression analysis approach. It shows that, first, profitability has positive effect on CSR disclosure; second, leverage has no effect on CSR disclosure; third, company size has an effect on CSR disclosure; fourth, majority ownership moderates the effect of leverage on CSR disclosure; fifth, majority ownership does not moderate the effect of profitability on CSR disclosure. Some limitations stated in this study are expected to be used as references for the improvement of similar studies in the near future.

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability and firm size on firm value through the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR Disclosure). The sample in this study was 105 objects of observation obtained using purposive sampling technique from manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results show that profitability has a negative and significant effect on CSR disclosure but is positive and significant on firm value, while firm size has a positive and significant effect on CSR disclosure but is positive and not significant on firm value, while CSR disclosure has a positive and significant effect on firm value and able to mediate the effect of profitability and firm size on firm value.

This study aims to determine the effect of the size of the company, size of the board of commissioners and industrial sensitivity to the disclosure of corporate social responsibility partially and simultaneously. The data of this study were taken from 87 observations. The number of samples used in this study was 29 LQ-45 companies listed on the IDX in 2014-2016. The samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The method of data analysis used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research showed that size of company significantly influenced the disclosure of corporate social responsibility with significance level by 0,021, while size of board of commissioners did not significantly influence the disclosure of corporate social responsibility with the value of significance by 0,621, but industry sensitivity has significant influence to corporate social responsibility disclosure with a significant value of 0,010. The simultaneous test showed that firm size, board size and industry sensitivity simultaneously and significantly influenced the disclosure of corporate social responsibility significantly by 0,004. The GMS members who have the authority to propose, appoint and dismiss the board of commissioners should consider the candidates of the board of commissioners to be proposed, and the further research should expand the object of research and develop other factors that can affect the disclosure of corporate social responsibility such as foreign ownership, growth company, good corporate governance (GCG) practices and several other factors.

ABSTRACT Earning management practices are one of the many things that management can do in achieving company’s goals or management’s personal goals. Through earning management, the company can convey positive signals about the value and achievement of the company to the public. This study aimed to determine out how the impact of environmental aspects of Corporate Social Responsibility on earning management with family ownership as a moderation of causal relationships. This research was conducted at manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2019. The sample selection in this study used purposive sampling method and obtained 43 sample companies using panel data regression analysis techniques for hypothesis testing and processed using Eviews 10. The results of this study indicate that the environmental aspects of Corporate Social Responsibility have a significant negative effect on firm value and risk management is proven to moderate partially the causal relationship.  ABSTRAK Praktik manajemen laba merupakan satu dari banyak hal yang dapat dilakukan manajemen dalam mencapai tujuan perusahaan maupun tujuan pribadi manajemen. Melalui manajemen laba, perusahaan dapat menyampaikan sinyal-sinyal positif tentang nilai dan pencapaian perusahaan kepada publik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh tanggung jawab sosial aspek lingkungan terhadap manajemen laba dengan kepemilikan keluarga sebagai moderasi hubungan kausal tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor barang dan konsumsi yang terdaftar dalam Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2018-2019. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan diperoleh 43 perusahaan sampel dengan menggunakan teknis analisis regresi data panel untuk pengujian hipotesis dan diolah menggunakan Eviews 10. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tanggung jawab sosial aspek lingkungan berpengaruh negatif terhadap manajemen laba dan kepemilikan keluarga terbukti momedari secara parsial hubungan kausal tersebut.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of corporate social responsibility and financial performance on firm value with managerial ownership as an intermediary variable. Corporate social responsibility and financial performance are used as independent variables. Meanwhile, firm value is used as the dependent variable. Managerial ownership is used as a moderating variable in this study. Manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2017-2018 period are the population in this study. Purposive sampling method is a sampling method used in this study by producing 27 companies with 2 observations to produce a sample of 54. Multiple linear regression and moderation regression analysis are the analytical methods used in this study. This research shows that corporate social responsibility and financial performance have a positive and significant effect on firm value. Managerial ownership has a negative and significant effect on firm value. Then corporate social responsibility and financial performance with managerial ownership as the moderating variable have a positive and significant effect on firm value.     Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dampak corporate social responsibility dan kinerja keuangan pada nilai perusahaan dengan kepemilikan manajerial sebagai variabel perantara. Corporate social responsibility dan kinerja keuangan digunakan sebagai variable Independen. Sedangkan nilai perusahaan digunakan sebagai variable dependen. Kepemilikan manajerial yang digunakan sebagai variabel moderating dalam penelitian ini. Perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2017-2018 merupakan populasi dalam penelitian ini. Metode purposive sampling merupakan metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menghasilkan sebanyak 27 perusahaan dengan pengamatan selama 2 sehingga menghasilkan sampel sebanyak 54. Regresi linier berganda dan analisis regresi moderasi merupakan metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Dari penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa corporate social responsibility dan kinerja keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kemudian corporate social responsibility dan kinerja keuangan dengan kepemilikan manajerial sebagai variabel moderating berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.

The variables examined in this study are company size, profitability, political connections and disclosure of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical results regarding the effect of company size, profitability, political connections and disclosure of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on tax avoidance. This research was conducted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The number of samples taken as many as 38 manufacturing companies with nonprobability sampling method, especially purposive sampling. The research period is 2014-2017. Data collection is done by non-participant observation techniques. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that company size, political connections and disclosure of corporate social responsibility have no effect on tax avoidance while profitability has a negative effect on tax avoidance. The amount of profit obtained by the company is very influential on the company's actions to practice tax avoidance. The company's goal is to implement CSR to have a positive impact on the environment and society as a sense of social responsibility to the environment around the company. Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will also increase the value of the company. The value of a company will increase if the company pays attention to the economic, social and environmental or environmental dimensions that exist around the company. This study aims to determine the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure on company value in consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2016-2018. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The population in this study were consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2016-2018 totaling 53 companies. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method with a sample of 15 companies. Analysis of the data used is simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has a positive and significant effect on firm value with a coefficient of 2169,806 and a significance of 0,000
