In this research, two ether derivatives of phenolic azo dyes were synthesized via Williamson's reaction according to the SN2 mechanism. The prepared compounds were radically polymerized using (AIBN) as an initiator and their structures were identified by FT-IR and 1H-NMR. Furthermore, thermal properties of these polymers was made by (DSC). Bandgap energy have been calculated to indicate the ability of these polymers as optical semiconductors, it was 2.8ev, 2.4ev for P(AO2) and P(AON1) respectively. Beside the determination of refractive index, kinematic viscosity, density, and degree of Turbidity.

In this work, we propose a simple method to simultaneously match the refractive index and kinematic viscosity of a circulating blood analog in hydraulic models for optical flow measurement techniques (PIV, PMFV, LDA, and LIF). The method is based on the determination of the volumetric proportions and temperature at which two transparent miscible liquids should be mixed to reproduce the targeted fluid characteristics. The temperature dependence models are a linear relation for the refractive index and an Arrhenius relation for the dynamic viscosity of each liquid. Then the dynamic viscosity of the mixture is represented with a Grunberg-Nissan model of type 1. Experimental tests for acrylic and blood viscosity were found to be in very good agreement with the targeted values (measured refractive index of 1.486 and kinematic viscosity of 3.454 milli-m2/s with targeted values of 1.47 and 3.300 milli-m2/s).

4,4'-diallyloxy-2,2-diphenylpropane, based on bisphenol A and allyl bromide wassynthesized. The thermal properties of the obtained products were studied using thermogravimetricanalysis and differential scanning calorimetry. The process of thermal isomerization of allyl groupsin 4,4'-diallyloxy-2,2-diphenylpropane, which is a Claisen rearrangement, was discovered. Allcompounds were characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy.

The synthesis of new selective COX-2 enzyme is an approach for obtaining potent, anti-inflammatory drugs that have fewer side effects. Ketoprofen has a very low selectivity toward COX-2 enzyme and has a serious GIT side effects because it induces gastric ulcer. A new series of 4-thiazolidinones bearing ketoprofen moiety was designed, synthesized, and then evaluated as a new inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). Characterization and identification of the synthesized compounds were established by determination of 1H-NMR spectra,13C-NMR spectra, FT-IR spectroscopy, and physical properties. These newly synthesized compounds have been evaluated in vivo for their anti-inflammatory efficiency and in silico selectivity toward COX-2 throughout molecular docking by using GOLD.suite.v.5.6.2. All the tested. compounds via molecular. docking showed significant. activities when compared. With ketoprofen and diclofenac as references drugs, the results were consistent with the study of in in vivo acute. anti-inflammatory activity. Also, ADME studies had been accomplished in order to predict the absorption sites, bioavailability, topological polar surface Area (TPSA), and also drug-likeness. The ADME results reported that. All the synthesized. compounds can be absorbed by the GIT.

The bio-oil obtained by pyrolysis of Açaí (Euterpe oleracea Mart.) seeds at 450 ºC, 1.0 atmosphere, in technical scale, submitted to fractional distillation to produce biofuels-like fractions. The distillation of bio-oil carried out in a laboratory distillation column (Vigreux) of 30 cm. The physical-chemistry properties (density, kinematic viscosity, acid value and refractive index) determined by official methods. The chemical functions present in distillation fractions determined by FT-IR and the chemical composition by GC-MS. The distillation of bio-oil yielded gasoline, light kerosene, and kerosene-like fuel fractions of 16.16, 19.56, and 41.89% (wt.), respectively. All the physical-chemistry properties (density, kinematic viscosity, acid value and refractive index) increase with boiling temperature. The gasoline-like fraction is composed by 64.0% (area.) hydrocarbons and 36.0% (area.) oxygenates, while light kerosene-like fraction by 66.67% (area.) hydrocarbons and 33.33% (area.) oxygenates, and kerosene-like fraction by 19.87% (area.) hydrocarbons and 81.13% (area.) oxygenates.

Abstract This The study entails the synthesis of two newly synthesized azo dyes luminol and procaine with acetylacetone (N1 and N2 correspondingly). Elementalanalysis, 1HNMR, T.G.A, and FTIR. have all been used to characterize dyes. These new dyes were reacted with Cpper and Nikel ionin 1:2 molar ratios to form of complexes of metals (II) with a general stoichiometry; CuL2, and NiL2 in complexes., FT IR, as well as the corresponding metal (II) complex, were used to characterize them. The dye acts as a bidentate ligand, according to elemental analysis and spectral results. The thermal properties of these compounds were investigated using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Thermal decomposition of these compounds is a process that occurs in stages.,
