Papaya (Carica papaya, L.) is a fruit that has good nutritional content for health so that it has a high selling value and is made a business commodity. One variety of papaya fruit that is currently favored by all people, namely the California papaya fruit. Determination of the quality of California papaya fruit can be measured by size, color, and defect. This study raises the topic of determining the quality of California papaya fruit using fuzzy-Mamdani with input variables in the form of major axis, minor axis, red, green, and defect variables along with the output in the form of the results of determining the quality of California papaya fruit. Based on testing that has been done using 108 fuzzy rules, the validity of the results obtained states that the level of accuracy of the research using defuzzification of the Centroid, Bisector and Means of Maximum methods by 75%, while the level of research accuracy using the defuzzification of Largest of Maximum and Smallest of Maximum methods by 70%

Papaya easily found in the local market with a relatively cheap price, adequate nutrient and vitamin content. The quality of California papaya can be measured by size, color and defect. This research discusses the topic of fuzzy model design regarding the measured of the quality of papaya using fuzzy tsukamoto with input variables major axis, minor axis, red and green intensity color, and defect variables along with the output as a result of determining the quality of California papaya. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the results of the quality is 75%.

The best decision is the main goal in a problem. Decisions in the determination of stock Crude Palm Oil (CPO) the Palm Oil Mill  is very important because it is directly in contact with the company's survival. Uncertain demand becomes a major problem in the sales of CPO, and so we need a system that can answer this question. Fuzzy logic is used in matters relating to the forecast with a high degree of accuracy. Fuzzy logic mapped the problem by first changing into linguistic mathematical conditions. Role created can answer many problems, including the problem of prediction. Fuzzy logic system consists of a subset of fuzzy and fuzzy rules. Fuzzy subsets represent different subsets of input and output variables. Fuzzy rules associated with input variables to the output variable via the subsets. Indonesia needs quality improvement for papaya fruits to increase its exportquantity and value. Seed quality is one that affect quality of fruits. Estimation of vigor storability is necessary for maintaining seed quality. Chemical accelerated aging method using ethanol has several advantages in predicting vigor storabilityof seeds. Seed aging (devigoration) during the aging process affected by soaking duration and aging duration. This research aims to determine the optimum soaking duration dan aging duration for chemical accelerated aging on papaya seed. This research consists of two experiments. Experiment 1 is determination of aging duration with treatment 0, 1x30, 2x30, 3x30, and 4x30 minutes aging. Experiment 2 is determination of soaking duration with treatment 24, 48, 72, 96, and 120 hours soaking. Experiment 1 showed that aging duration 48 minutes can reduce 50% germination of Callina papaya seed. Experiment 2 showed that the optimum soaking duration is 48 hours. This method produces germination before aging 77.1% and after aging 38.4% with angle of regression line 38.9° and moisture content about 64-66%.Keywords: callina, devigoration, ethanol, germination, soaking duration

In this paper, we use the Fuzzy inference system of Tsukamoto method to determine the rice seeds quality. The input variables are production average, the age of plant, and fallen seeds, and the output variable is rice seed quality. The output is determined through 4 steps i.e. fuzzification, determine fuzzy rules, and defuzzification. The results show that the best  quality of  rice seed is IR 64 and the worst is Lusi.

One that influences human resource indicators is education. The teacher is a profession as a job of academic specialization in a relatively long time in college. Understanding related to teacher competence is very important to have by a prospective teacher because it can affect the quality of performance as a professional teacher. The teacher's competence is known as pedagogic, professional, social and personality competencies. The issue in this study is how the competency of the teacher of the Department of Geography Education FKIP Unsyiah as a prospective teacher of geography? The purpose of this study was to determine the competence of teachers in the Department of Geography Education FKIP Unsyiah as prospective geography teachers. Quantitative description approach is used in this study to find answers to the issue. The population in this study were students of the Department of Geography Education FKIP Unsyiah class of 2015 and 2016 who had been declared to have passed the Micro Teaching and Magang Kependidikan 3 course totaling 50 people. Because the population is small and can be reached, the determination of the sample using total sampling techniques so that the sample in this study is the whole population. Data collection is done by distributing test questions to respondents. The data was analyzed using the descriptive statistics percentage formula. The results of the study indicate that the level of teacher competence of Geography Education Department students as prospective teachers is in the moderate category, namely as many as 22 respondents (44%). A total of 12 respondents (24%) were in the high category, 15 respondents (30%) were in the low category and 1 respondent (2%) were in the very low category.

The article focuses on examining the influence of fluctuations in annual precipitation amount on the quality of surface waters. Water quality was estimated with data on BOD, COD and phosphate–ion concentration within five selected regions of Ukraine. Analysis of the precipitation data (1991 – 2010) showed different regional trends. Using the statistics, determination of the interconnection between precipitation amount and water resources quality were done. The obtained regularities and associated uncertainties can be used for prediction of changes in water resource quality and as a guide for future adaptation to possible climate change.

The background of the problems in this study is the decreasing quality of Sade hamlet amid rising tourist arrivals. From the environmental aspect, the conditions of the hamlet began to decline, in which the initial pattern of Sade has started a lot of changes towards the deficient and began to leave the local tradition. One effort to improve the condition of Sade hamlet in social, cultural and the environmental aspect is through the formulation of a sustainable structuring, the presence and identity maintaining and making a sustainable Tourism Village. Through analysis of AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) by collecting the perceptions of some experts through interviews and questionnaires, obtained by weighting the priority of the experts, namely the preservation of culture as an element of priority-level goals to be achieved in the development of Sade Hamlet as a tourist village at 0,476. While the determination of the level of the main criteria in the achievement of these objectives is the highest weight while maintaining a typical village environment at 0.319. Priority strategies that get the highest weight of the experts is that Sade Hamlet Revitalization with a priority weighting of 0.583. The second priority is the relocation of Hamlet at 0.235. Lowest weighting or last priority is Replication Sade Hamlet at 0.182.
