This research aimed to determine how to overcome student learning barriers in the material of one-variable linear equations using didactical design with scaffolding in class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. The form of research used in this study was didactical design research. The data source of this study were students of class VIII B of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya and the data were the initial and final test answer sheets and the results of interviews. The results showed that didactic design with scaffolding can overcome student learning barriers. Before being given a didactical design with scaffolding students were not able to made mathematical models in the form of story problems, students were not able to equivalent and classify similar terms, the incompatibility of the problem solving steps ordered by the completion steps done by students, students cannot solve the problem comes to the simplest form, and students made mistakes in calculating the value of a count operation. After being given a didactical design with scaffolding students have been able to make mathematical models in the form of story questions, students have been able to equivalent and classify similar terms, the problem solving steps ordered with the completion steps done by students are appropriate, students can already solve the problem to the simplest form, and students are able to calculate the value of a calculated operation correctly even though there are a few operating errors in some problems. Keywords: Didactical Design, Learning Obstacles, Scaffolding

The low learning outcomes of students are caused by several problems encountered during the learning process, such as IPA learning process still used teacher centered and lecturing methode. The result of student learning competence still low result and the teacher hasn�t yet used learning models can make student will be active. One effort was made to improve students learning competence by applying problem solving learning models. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of problem solving, learning model to the students' learning competence SMP 13 Padang. This study is an experimental research using the design of The Static Group Comparison. The study population is all students of Class VIII SMPN 13 Padang. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The control class uses the learning model commonly used in the classroom IE discovery learning model and experimental class using a problem solving learning model. The research instrument used is a test of learning result and affective and skill assessment in the form of observation sheet. Data were analyzed using t-test for knowledge, competence because the data were normally distributed and homogeneously. Data were analyzed using up-test for affective and skill competence.Result of hypothesis test in both classes of sample, found that class which uses problem solving, learning model have positive effect of student learning competence of Class VIII 6 SMPN 13 Padang such as knowledge, affective and skill competence

This research is a case against of departement of Arabic education of IAIN Antasari Banjarmasin to learn Arabic. The data source of this research is the student of 2012/2013, 2013/2014, and six lecturers that administer of linguistic subject or language skills. This study aims to collect information on students learning Arabic strategies in departement of Arabic education. While the data extracted is information about: the form of difficulty students learning Arabic, the cause and degree of difficulty, the type of student learning in departement of arabic education, the efforts and strategies by departement of arabic education students in problem solving learning Arabic, and the outcome of the efforts/strategies they are doing. Based on the survey results revealed that students have difficulty in learning Arabic in the matter of language and language skills. Difficulties in linguistic materials include use nahwu and sharf in reading and writing, the meaning of a sentence or a word, sentence or word and pronunciation. While the difficulties in aspects of language skills include: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. But the difficulties they feel it, both aspects of alkalinity or their skills can be overcome by evaluating their learning, the dominant use of memory strategies, affective, cognitive, and social strategies.

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in the system of linear equations of two variables using Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type cooperative learning model in class VIII E SMPN 21 Pontianak academic year 2016/2017. Data collection was obtained by direct observation and test. Subjects are students of class VIII SMPN 21 Pontianak with 38 students of students consisting of 16 male students and 22 female students. This classroom action research consists of two cycles. Each cycle stage consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of data analysis that replicate the first half of the academic year 2015/2016 shows that students who learn completeness of students has just reached 10.58%. His performance is low. The instruments used in this classroom action research are: (1) Student Activity Observation Sheet; (2) Observation Sheet of teacher teachers in learning activities; (3) Written test (Test Cycle I and Cycle II). Results of learning data from the first cycle to cycle II obtained more than 75% of students who graduated. This study revealed that the use of cooperative learning model STAD can improve student learning outcomes on linear equations system in two variables E class VIII SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak.Keywords: learning outcomes, Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables (SPLDV)

This study aims to develop a problem-based mathematical module in the material system of two-variable linear equations of class VIII SMP students that are valid, practical and effective. This research is a development research with the method used is ADDIE. The subject of this study was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Ngabang, Landak District. The instruments used were validation sheets, observation sheets and student learning outcomes tests. The result indicates that a problem-based mathematical module has been developed in the material system of two-variable linear equations of class VIII SMP students that are valid, practical and effective. Based on the results of the validity test, it can be stated that the problem-based mathematical module produced is valid with a validity value of 79.11. The implementation observation results show that the problem-based mathematics module is in the practical category with a practical value of 82.18. Then the results of student learning tests showed that the average value of the learning outcomes test was 83.00 and the effectiveness of the problem-based mathematics module was 87.50% and included in the effective category. When viewed from the results of the tests performed, the development of problem-based mathematical modules in the subject matter of the two-variable linear equation system has been successfully developed and is suitable for use in Ngabang 1 State Middle School.

Background: Education is one of the important factors in efforts to improve human resources in Indonesia. The latest methods and methods of learning are used to streamline the conventional learning process. Cooperative learning model with TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) method in improving problem solving skills and student learning outcomes in the concept of class VIII excretion system at SMPN 1 Ambon. Method: This study is a descriptive study that is by giving treatment in the form of learning by using cooperative learning models with the TAPPS method for class VIII students of SMP 1 Ambon, amounting to 21 people. Results: In the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects all students are said to be complete, with an average value of each aspect namely for cognitive 86.1 for affective 84.43 and psychomotor 83.1. While for problem solving skills obtained an average of 86.1. From the average value obtained by students, cooperative learning models with the TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) method can improve problem solving skills and student learning outcomes. Conclusion: The application of the cooperative learning model with the TAPPS (thinking aloud pair problem solving) method to increasing the results of learning excretion system concepts in class VIII2 of SMPN 1 Ambon showed a significant success rate

The purpose of this study was to describe the problem-solving ability of eighth-grade junior high school students in terms of cognitive style in solving two-variable linear equations. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMPN 1 Senduro, namely four students from each of two different types of cognitive styles. Collecting data using questionnaires, test methods, and interview methods. According to Polya, there are four steps in the problem-solving ability of students, namely understanding, planning, implementing, and re-checking. The results showed that students with a field-dependent cognitive style had difficulty in analyzing a problem because they could not apply the four Polya problem solving while the field independent type cognitive style was very able to apply the four problem-solving steps according to Polya, namely, understanding, planning, implementing, and doing recheck.

This review means to depict the investigation of visual learning styles as far as critical thinking capacity of understudies' two-variable direct condition framework at MTS Negeri 3 Mempawah. The examination strategy utilized is enlightening subjective as contextual analyses. The subjects in this study were class VIII students at MTS Negeri 3 Mempawah. The number of students who were used as research subjects were 38 students who had studied the material for a two-variable system of linear equations. In this study, six students were selected consisting of two students who had SPLDV Problem Solving Ability in terms of high, medium, low learning styles. The object of this exploration is Visual Learning Style as far as Critical thinking Capacity. In light of the aftereffects of information examination, meetings and conversation, it can be concluded that Analysis of Visual Learning Styles Judging from the SPLDV Problem-Solving Ability of MT.S Negeri 3 Mempawah Students" shows that students' problem-solving abilities are relatively balanced with learning styles. As a rule, understudies who have high numerical critical thinking capacities have great visual learning styles, understudies with moderate critical thinking capacities have great visual learning styles, understudies with low numerical critical thinking capacities have great visual learning styles.

This study aims to decide the effect of learning models on the ability to solve mathematical problems seen from student learning motivation. Learning model used is FSLC and conventional learning model. This type of research is a quasi experiment. The population in this research is the students of class VIII SMP N 1 Trimurjo academic year 2017/2018. The sample of this research is taken by using cluster random sampling technique with sample in experiment class as much as 32, and control class counted 31. The result of this research are as follows: 1) There is difference of problem solving ability between student learning by using FSLC learning model and model of learning conventional. 2) Problem-solving abilities in highly motivated students are better than those with moderate motivation and problem-solving skills in better-motivated students than low motivated students. 3) There is no interaction between FSLC and conventional learning model and learning motivation toward math problem solving ability. The FSLC learning model provides better mathematical problem-solving skills than conventional learning models in both high and medium motivations.

The purpose of this study was to determine student activities, teacher activities, and learning outcomes through problem-solving learning on the relationship material of class VIII SMPN 2 Adonara Barat. This research is classroom action research. The research subjects were students of class VIII SMPN 2 Adonara Barat, totalling 16 people. Data collection is done by observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is quantitative data analysis. The results showed that learning mathematics using problem-solving can improve student and teacher activities and student learning outcomes. Based on the results of data analysis, the level of implementation of teacher activities in the first cycle was 75% with good criteria, in the second cycle, it was 93,1% with very good criteria. For student activities in the first cycle of 65% with sufficient criteria and the second cycle of 84% with good criteria. Student learning outcomes have increased learning mastery with a pre-action percentage of 6.25%, the first cycle of 31.25%, and the second cycle of 100% learning outcomes. The increase in the average value of the pre-test results was 42.25%, the first cycle was 65% and the second cycle was 82.25%.
