The rapid synthesis of cyclic scaffolds is of high importance to the chemistry community. Strategies for the convergent synthesis of substi-tuted carbocycles and heterocycles remain underexplored despite the plethora of applications that these cyclic motifs have in the phar-maceutical and materials industries. Reported herein is a tandem carbene and photoredox-catalyzed process for the convergent synthesis of substituted cycloalkanones via a formal [5+1] cycloaddition. Featuring two distinct photoredox cycles and a novel α-oxidation of ben-zylic ketones, this reaction offers a mild approach to construct two contiguous C–C bonds and eliminates the need for strong bases or expensive metal catalysts. The utility of this method is highlighted through various product diversification reactions that allow access to a range of important cyclic scaffolds.

The use of colorants in the dried noodle manufactures is an effort of product diversification. Besides of being used as a natural coloring agent, this peel extract is also used to improve nutritional value of the expected product. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of red dragon fruit peel extract on the physical quality of dried noodle.  The study was conducted by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with one factor, namely concentration of red dragon fruit peel extract (N1 = 10 ml, N2 = 15 ml, N3 = 20 ml, N4 = 25 ml, N5 = 30 ml).  The observations of its physical quality consisted of water absorption, solid loss during cooking, and organoleptic tests (aroma and color).  The best quality of dried noodle was obtained by using 30 ml red dragon fruit peel extract (N5) with physical properties, namely DSA levels of 351.92%, solid loss during cooking 4.78%, aroma 3.79 (like) and color 3.89 (like).

Abstract — Community service activities are carried out in Petungsewu Village, Wagir District, Malang Regency as Mitra Village, with a focus on empowering incense micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The problem faced by incense craftsmen in Mitra village is that it still produces raw incense, marketing difficulties so that business income is still low. The aim of the program is to increase the income of the community of incense craftsmen through product diversification, namely producing fragrant incense packaging products, and implementing a product marketing strategy with a partnership pattern. The method applied is training and mentoring the production of fragrant incense packaging, creating trademarks, and initiating partnerships with successful incense businesses. Training and assistance are carried out as part of the development of production or product diversification, so that not only producing semi-finished incense, but able to produce finished products that are packaged and ready for sale. The partnership pattern is carried out by means of general trading in the form of marketing cooperation, products from incense craftsmen from partner villages are deposited to partner business actors for sale. The results of the incense craftsman activity has been able to produce incense fragrance packaging with the Gunung Katu brand as a superior product, Gunung

A Pdᴵᴵ-catalyzed, ligand-enabled gamma-C(sp3)–H arylation of free primary aliphatic amines and amino esters without using an exogenous directing group is reported. This reaction is compatible with unhindered free aliphatic amines, and it is also be applicable to the rapid synthesis of biologically and synthetically valuable unnatural α-amino acids. Large scale synthesis is also feasible using this method.<br>

The objectives of this research were (1) to analyse determinants of the influencing factors of the Indonesian Estate State-owned enterprises’ executive compensations; and (2) to analyse the relationship between compensation executive and firm performances. Statistical methods used for analysing these objectives were Structural Equation Model (SEM), contingency analysis, regresion analysis and qualitative analysis. The study found out that from all identified variables, executive decision mechanism, job complexity, firm size, firm ability to pay compensation, and product diversification and market expansionhad positive correlation and significant influenced to executive compensation. Human capital, business risk, executive employment market had significant correlations to executive compensation. The research had also shown a result that executive compensation provide positive correlation and significant influence towards financial performance (EBIT), customer performance (sales volume, output price, market area), internal process performance (OER target, OER realisation), and growth and learning performance (number of training investment, number of employees participated intraining). However, executive compensation did not give positive correlation and significant influenced towards financial performance (ROE) and customer performance(market share). This research also showed that direction of executive compensation was heading to company’s performance and not the opposite way.

For several decades, the European Union has been steadily increasing its presence in Central Asian countries. The EU's interests in the region are due to a number of reasons, including the desire to expand its influence in the Central Asian countries, the high importance of the region as a transit corridor between Europe and China, the prospects for economic cooperation, and the importance of the region's energy potential. In May 2019 The European Union has presented a new Strategy for Central Asia, designed to intensify cooperation in a number of areas of interaction. The new strategy is aimed at both implementing these interests and expanding cooperation in a number of other areas.
