Cooperative learning is the type of Team's Games Tournament (TGT) which is a learning model in which there are stages such as games which can make the students communicate mathematically, more creative, have a positive attitude towards mathematics, and appropriate in solving mathematical problems. But in fact, communication skills and problem solving that should be owned by the students as a result of the learning process of mathematics meet the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). This study aims to describe the effectiveness of Cooperative learning of TGT type at mathematics learning in terms of communication skills and problem solving in class VIII SMP N 1 Seyegan the school year 2016/2017.  This research is a quasi ekspreriment research with pre-posttest nonequivalent control group design. This study uses two groups: the experimental group and the control group. The population study includes all students of class VIII which consists of four classes. From the existing population, it is drawn randomly two classes, namely VIII A and VIII C as samples. Mathematics Learning in class VIII A (experimental group) uses TGT type Cooperative learning and mathematics learning in class VIII C (control group) uses direct instruction. The instrument of this study is testing the communication and problem solving capability. To test the effectiveness of the study, it is used the analysis of one sample t-test. Whereas the T2 test hotteling is foolowed by univariate t-test which is used to determine more effective model. The result of research indicates that: (1) Cooperative learning of TGT-type and direct instruction in mathematics is effective in terms of communication skills and problem-solving; and (2) Cooperative learning of TGT type is more effective than direct instruction type in term of communication skill in class VIII SMPN 1 Seyegan. Keywords: TGT, mathematical communication, problem solving

This research aims to determine the effect of using the problem solving method of the Polya model on learning outcomes about the story of the flat-waking class V students of Elementary School 1 North Pariaman. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique with the results of several considerations. The instrument used is a test that is a description test. Data analysis techniques in this study used a prerequisite test in the form of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence in the use of the problem solving model method on the learning outcomes of the story about the flat-building area of class V SD Cluster 1 North Pariaman. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5% obtained tcount = 3.71 > ttable = 1.72. Mathematics learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group were higher than in the control group, indicated by the control group mean = 73.09 and the mean obtained by the experimental group = 87.18.

This study is an experimental study that aims to knows the influence of participative learning model used problem solving methode towards learning physics achievement of studens in SMPN 3 Batukliang. Research design using pre-test - post-test control group design. Sampling using random cluster sampling, the students of class VIII-A as the experimental group and the students of class VIII-B as a control group. The learning physics achievement data of students were analyzed using t-test formula two parties polled variance. At the significant level of 5% and dk of 53 obtained that ttest is less than ttable (1.66< 2.007). Because  that ttest is less than ttable  therefore H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. Therefore, it can be  concluded that the participative learning model used problem solving methode is not influential significantly towards learning physics achievement of studens in SMPN 3 Batukliang.

This study aims to determine the difference of the mathematical communication skills improvement of students who obtained mathematical learning by problem-solving of scientific approach and Number Head Together (NHT) of cooperative learning and the students who obtained mathematical learning through the use of problem-solving approach only. This research is a quasi-experimental study with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was 274 students of 8th-grade who were distributed to seven classes. The samples taken were two classes, each of which consisted of 41 students for the experimental class and 42 students for the control class. The data were analyzed to compare students' mathematical communication skills using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics t-test. The result of this research showed that the mathematical communication skills improvement through the application of problem-solving of scientific approach and NHT of cooperative learning was higher than the mathematical communication skills of students who used a problem-solving approach only.

Students' mathematical communication is stated to be low because students learn by listening and seeing the teacher solve mathematical problems and students have difficulty in expressing everyday events in mathematical models. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills better than using scientific learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research Quasi-Experimental Design and the design of this research The Nonequivalent Postets-Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Nisam, while the samples were class VIIIB as the experimental class and class VIII-A as the control class with the sampling technique of purposive sampling. The data collection technique in this study used a mathematical communication ability test. The data analysis was carried out for the mathematical communication ability test using the t-test because the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, the data were processed using SPSS 18 software and the hypothesis test results were obtained with a significant value of 0.000 less than 0.05, which means reject H0 and accept Ha. The results showed that there was an effect of the Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan media Geogebra terhadap motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan non equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Abang sebanyak 340 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII B, VIII D dan VIII H sebanyak 102 orang, yang diambil secara random. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Data dianalisis dengan teknik MANCOVA pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan media GeoGebra, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, dan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar matematika antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan media GeoGebra, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, dan model pembelajaran konvensional, dan (3) terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar matematika antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan media GeoGebra, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan media Geogebra berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa.Kata Kunci : STAD, Media Geogebra, Motivasi, Prestasi Belajar Matematika ABSTRACT This study aimed to finding out the effect of STAD cooperative learning with Geogebra to motivation and achievement mathematics learning. This research employed non equivalence pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study were 340 students of eighth grade at SMP Negeri 1 Abang. The sample were 102 students of the class VIII B, VIII D and VIII H that selected by random sampling technique. The data was collected through motivation questionare and mathematics achievement test. The data were analyzed using multivariat analysis of covarians . The result of this study showed that (1) there was a significant different on motivation and achievement mathematics learning to students who learned with STAD cooperative learning with Geogebra, STAD cooperative learning, and conventional learning; (2) there was a significant different on motivation mathematics learning to students who learned with STAD cooperative learning with Geogebra, STAD cooperative learning, and conventional learning; (3) there was a significant different on achievement mathematics learning to students who learned with STAD cooperative learning with Geogebra, STAD cooperative learning, and conventional learning. Based on the research finding, it can be concluded that STAD cooperative learning with Geogebra has effect to motivation and acheivement mathematics learning.keyword : STAD, Geogebra, Motivation, Mathematics Learning Achievement

his study aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Heads Together type of cooperative learning model on students' communication skills in class IV social studies content at SDN Gugus 01 Pringgarata District, Central Lombok in 2018/2019 academic year. This research is an experimental study of the type of Quasi-Experimental Design Type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling, which considers all kinds of aspects in determining the sample. The method of data collection is observation in the form of student observation sheets or direct observations and rubrics as a reference for assessment. The data obtained were then analyzed using the t-test polled variance formula to determine the effect of the use of the Numbered Heads Together type of cooperative learning model on students' communication skills. Based on the post-test results, the average value of students' communication skills in the experimental class was 75.9 and the control class was 67.8. The results of the t-test calculation obtained that the t-count value is greater than t-table namely, the t-count value is 2.84 while the t-table is 2.006 at a significance level of 5%. Thus, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is a positive and significant effect between the Numbered Heads Together type of cooperative learning model on students' communication skills in social studies content for class IV SDN Gugus 01 Pringgarata sub-district, Central Lombok in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Problem solving is a process that has been implemented in order to obtain a solution to a problem that is carried out in stages. Teamwork is the ability of individuals to work together with others and aims for members to be able to participate in the team and understand their duties. This study aims to determine the ability to solve problems and teamwork (teamwork) in children aged 10 years using puzzles. This research is an experimental study with a quasi-experimental design: non-equivalent control group design. The participants in this study were 8 children aged 10 years consisting of 5 boys and 3 girls. The data collection in this study was the acquisition of time in the preparation of puzzles. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using the t-test (t-test). The results of this study indicate that the experimental group has faster problem solving than the control group because of the learning outcomes of teamwork.

Physical education is one of the subjects at schools that can make a significant contribution to students’ interpersonal aspect and social. One of the main aspects in developing a change in attitude is self-disclosure and self-awareness. The purpose of this study was to find out how influential the cooperative learning intentionally structuring model on self-disclosure and self-awareness in Physical Education learning at school. The method used in this study was an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group research design. The sample in this study were 60 students of class 10 (X) from SMK N 12 Bandung divided into 2 groups by using purposive sampling techniques. The instrument used to measure self-disclosure was ESDS (emotional self disclosure scale). Meanwhile, to measure self-awarness, the self awareness scale was used. Data analysis process used SPSS version 21 with Paired Sample T-Test for hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis and calculation of the data revealed that there were significant changes between the cooperative learning intentionally structuring learning model group and the control group. It showed that giving an explanation, or intentionally structuring, to the experimental group during physical education learning could affect the increase in the experimental group far above the control group. AbstrakPendidikan jasmani merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran di sekolah yang dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap siswa antar pribadi dan pembangunan social ). Salah satu yang utama dari pengembangan perubahan sikap yaitu keterbukaan diri dan kesadaran diri. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa berpengaruh model pembelarajan cooperative learning intentionaly structuring terhadap keterbukaan diri dan kesadaran diri  dalam pembelajaran penjas di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah experiment dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 siswa kelas 10 (X) di SMK N 12 Bandung yang di bagi kedalam 2 kelompok dengan mengunakan tehnik purposive sampling. Instrument yang digunakan menggunakan Instrument emotional self disclosure scale (ESDS) dan Instrument self awareness scale. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 21 dengan pengujian hipotesis mengunakan Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil analisis dan perhitungan data mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat perubahan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok model pembelajran cooperative learning intensionaly structuring dan kelompok control, dengan memberi penjelasan atau intentionally structuring kelompok eksperimen saat pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani sehingga mendapat peningkatan jauh di atas kelompok control.

Abstract. This research is based on the students' mathematical communication ability at SMP Negeri 1 Pasir Penyu which is still low. To overcome the problem is applied learning model Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR). This study aims to determine the ability of students' mathematical communication using the learning model of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR). This research type is quasi experiment research. The research design used was randomized subjects posttest only control group design. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. After the sample was taken randomly, the students selected VIII.6 class as experimental class and students of class VIII.5 as the control class. The instrument in this research is a test of students' mathematical communication skill. The data analysis technique used Independent Samples T-Test (t-test) test. Based on hypothesis test results obtained that tcount = 5,065> ttable = 2.002 with (df = 60) and a real level of 5%. Reject H0 if thitung value is ttable. So it can be concluded that the mathematical communication skills of students using the learning model of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) is better than the students' mathematical communication skills using conventional learning model. Keywords: Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR), mathematical communication.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan  model  pembelajaran  SAVI dengan saintifik  pada materi Statistika terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian The Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Kota Bengkulu. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling ditentukan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tes awal siswa yang sama. Sehingga diperoleh siswa  kelas VIII 7 berjumlah 35 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII 6 yang terdiri dari 36 orang siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Uji prasyarat analisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji-t independent, diperoleh bahwa uji-t independent untuk hasil postes kedua kelas sampel dengan taraf signifikan  didapat angka sig.(2-tailed) = 0,000 < taraf signifikan ( dan  maka H0 ditolak. Menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI dengan pendekatan saintifik dan siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan saintifik saja pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu.Kata Kunci : Hasil belajar, Model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic, Auditori, Visual, Intellectuall) AbstractThe aim of this study to know SAVI difference with scientific learning model at Statistics material to the results of students' mathematics learning class VIII SMPN 4 Kota Bengkulu. Type of research is quasi-experimental research design with research The Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population in this research is class VIII SMPN 4 Kota Bengkulu. Sample selection is done by purposive sampling technique is determined based on the average value of the initial tests the same students. Thus obtained the eighth grade 7 totaling 35 people as an experimental class and class VIII 6 which consists of 36 students as control class. Prerequisite test analysis using normality test and homogeneity test. Data were analyzed by independent t-test, found that the independent t-test to the results of the second post-test sample classwith a significant level obtained  gained sig rate.(2-tailed) = 0,000 < significant level  then H0 is rejected. It indicates that there are differences in learning outcomes mathematics between students who use learning model SAVI approach to scientific and students who use the approach of scientific course at class VIII SMPN 4 Kota BengkuluKeywords: learning outcomes, SAVI learning model (Somatic, Auditori, Visual, Intellectuall)
