<p>Maintenance management is an important aspect that define success and sustainability of a manufacturing industry. The development of information technology give new possibilities to improve maintenance management performance. Data management with the help from information system will improve maintenance management effectiveness and efficiency. PT XYZ is an industry specialized in retreading tires service. Preliminary study on machinery maintenance process in PT XYZ showed that breakdown and maintenance data were not properly documented. This can generate high cost for the company because maintenance scheduling cannot optimally determined and the cost incurred by repair and maintenance activities, and also the cost of lost production time cannot determined directly. Therefore PT XYZ need information system to improve their maintenance management efficiency. Information system designed in accordance with company need based on system survey and interview. The design of information system developed using Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object Oriented Design (OOD) approach. The designed information system can help maintenance management implementation and related data management. The availability of repair and maintenance data can help factory supervisor to make decision related to maintenance activities such as parts needed and maintenance cost.</p><p>Keywords: maintenance, information system, performance </p>

In manufacturing or production setup, maintenance cost is one of the major portions of overall operating expenditure. It can vary between 15 to 60 percentage of overall cost for various industries including food related industries, iron, steel and other heavy industries. Such a high cost directly impacts manufacturing setup, profitability and sustainability in long run. In most of the industries, ineffective maintenance management can result in loss of capital and inefficient human resource deployment. This in turn affects the plants’ ability to manufacture quality products that are competitive in the market. Various maintenance management strategies including Operate to Failure (OTF), Design Out Maintenance (DOM), Skill Level Upgrade (SLU), ConditionBased Monitoring (CBM) and Fixed Time Maintenance (FTM) are used in industries for maximizing productivity. In recent years, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) has become an integral part of most of the industries so its importance and characteristics cannot be understated. While CMMS cannot live standalone, it requires some decision-making techniques to be equipped with. These techniques range from Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to Decision Making Grid (DMG). In this paper, concept of DMG has been applied to an automotive parts Manufacturing Industry in conjunction with Weibull analysis. Parallels are drawn between the results of DMG and Weibull analysis.

In managing laboratory equipment at SMK Negeri 1 Gunungputri, they still use manual methods and the toolman or head of the workshop does not collect data continuously, causing data and goods in the field to be incompatible, then there is no inventory number that causes lost items cannot be identified, therefore needed an Information System Inventory of Welding Engineering Workshop. This system uses the System Development Life Cycle method with Object Oriented Design modeling, with an Information System Inventory Workshop Welding Techniques can make it easier to identify every item in the field, reduce errors in terms of storage of goods, search for data and can facilitate the search for goods, especially in the Engineering workshop Welding.

The development of information technology is currently growing rapidly and widely used in meeting human needs. However, the present presentation of information is still experiencing many obstacles in its less effective and inefficient presentation, such as information on worship, wudhu and adzan especially for Muslims which still must be obtained from religious figures, print media, magazines and books which is less effective and inefficient because it must provide a special time, a certain place and spend the cost to get the information. These problems can be overcome by utilizing the development of information technology that is the learning media on ​​Andoid mobile devices. The design of the application can use object oriented design tools with Unified Modeling Language modeling which is dominated by objects and denoted in specific symbols. With the application of mobile learning on mobile devices, the presentation of information about prayer, wudhu and adzan for Muslims becomes more effective, accessible anywhere, anytime, and the delivery of information becomes more interactive.  Keywords :Android, Learning, UML, Shalat

Design a Mobile Based Lecturer Payroll Information System at Ma’soem University to provide solutions to several lecturers who have limited time so they do not have time to fill in lecturer attendance after completing lectures so that it affects the work of the finance and curriculum sections,The approach method used is an object-oriented approach (object oriented) which consists of object-oriented analysis (OOA), and object-oriented design (OOD). The system development method used is prototype. While the author's modeling system uses Unified Modeling Language (UML).With the design of the lecturer payroll information system, it is expected to facilitate lecturers in completing attendance and seeing details of their income, the finance department does not have to work overtime to make lecturer salary reports, and the curriculum section is more facilitated in controlling lecturer performance.

Software maintenance is necessary for reasons such as changes in user needs, changes in the operating conditions of the system due to changes in the infrastructure, the occurrence of unforeseen errors. The suitability of the software for maintenance operations is a significant influence in reducing the cost. Using only basic object oriented programming concepts do not show that we are writing maintainable code in our applications. Object oriented design principles such SOLID are about reducing dependencies and increasing maintainability. ISO/IEC 9126 is about maintainability but ISO/IEC 9126 is not clear about whether all inputs to measurement should be used together in conjunction or whether they should be used as appropriate or available. Indeed, ISO/IEC 9126 provides no guidance, heuristics, rules of thumb, or any other means to show how to trade off measures, how to weight measures or even how to simply collate them. In this study each sub-characteristic of ISO/IEC maintainability with help of Visual Studio VS code metric tool is assessed. The focus of this assessment is on maintainability and its sub-characteristics like analyzability, testability, changeability and stability. Before doing an analysis, each sub-characteristics of maintainability part of ISO/IEC 9126 standard are mapped to five VS code metrics for measurement of characteristics. This work shows the effect of object oriented design principles SOLID to the maintainability, complexity and flexibility of the code while associating ISO/IEC, VS code metric and SOLID.

This paper proposes an object-oriented design for generating Stock Keeping Unit coding system. Through recognition and analysis of the inventory item particulars and conceptualizing the important classes as one package, the framework is developed in a modular-basis able to be integrated with other parts of the system. Using UML class and package diagram as of the best practice in object-oriented, conducting the analysis and design is elaborately discussed. A prototype implementation is carried out to support the designed framework over its applicability at a modular information system. Moreover, the item particular package with unique and organized SKU numbering system efficiently supports the fundamental need of item identification at inventory control operations and classification and guarantees different types of reports and lookups.

In managing the administrative data of loading and unloading production suction vessels at PT. Gusti Glori Sukses still uses manual administrative data management. All recapitulation of company administrative documents is still archived on sheets of paper, document preparation is still manual, which is considered less effective and efficient. Because data collection is still inaccurate, the effect on report presentation and administrative data processing tends to be slow. So that PT. Gusti Glori Sukses wants to have an information system for managing the loading and unloading administrative data of production suction vessels that is accessed internally which makes it easier for the company to run the company's operations smoothly. An information system that is made must be effective and in accordance with needs. The research method used in the development of this information system uses object-oriented design and analysis methods, with the FAST model, and the tools used are the Unified Modeling Language (UML). With the implementation of the information system for loading and unloading production suction vessels at PT. Gusti Glori Sukses based on computerization, all problems faced can be resolved, so that the administration of loading and unloading production suction boats can run optimally so that it becomes more effective and efficient.

The objective of this research was to determine the optimal maintenance time interval for the selected critical components and the total cost of maintenance of a plastic injection machine. In determining the critical components, a risk matrix was used, and three components were selected, namely, hydraulic hose, barrel, and motor. Using the Reliability and Risk Centered Maintenance (RRCM) method, the researchers got a proposed maintenance policy and the total maintenance cost. Based on the result, it shows that there are seven proposed maintenance tasks with three scheduled oncondition tasks and four scheduled restoration tasks with an average maintenance interval of two months. The total maintenance cost proposed is IDR91.595.318. The cost is smaller compared to the actual maintenance costs of the company.
