This research aimed to explain the improvement of students’ vocabulary of the noun (abstract noun and concrete noun), Verb (regular verb and irregular verb) and adjective (Descriptive adjective).The method of this research was classroom action research consisted of two cycles. One cycle consists of four meeting. Thus there were eight meetings for two cycles. This classroom action research was done at the second year of SMA Negeri 1 Enrekang. As the subject of this research was class XI in 2011/2012 academic year with students’ number about 31 students. These consist of 23 women and 8 men. The instruments of this research were observation sheet and vocabulary test or evaluation. The findings of the research were the students’ score in vocabulary mastery through the bilingual magazine. Before applying this media in teaching and learning vocabulary, the students’ mean score in D-test was 4.6 (poor). After applying bilingual magazine as a media of teaching and learning process, in cycle I the students’ mean score improved to 5.35(fair) and then in cycle II also improved to 7.20 (fairly good).

The objective of this study was to investigate whether the application of Teams-Games-Tournament Technique improve the students achievement in Speaking. This study was an classroom action research. The subject of this study was class XI IPA 3 SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Kisaran which consists of 35 students. The study was conducted in two cycles, cycle I consisted of three meetings and cycle II was consisted of three meetings. The instruments for collecting data were quantitative (oral speaking test) and qualitative data (observation sheet and diary note). Based on speaking scores, students’ score kept improving in every evaluation and based on observation sheet and diary note, it was found that teaching and learning process ran well. Students could enlarge their thinking process. The result of this study showed that Teams-Games-Tournament improved students’ achievement in speaking.

This study attempts to increase students’ vocabulary achievement by using flash cards. The objective of the study is to investigate whether the using of flash card can improve students’ vocabulary achievement. This study conduct by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles in six meetings. The subject of this study of SD Negeri 174559 Siraituruk, Porsea which consisted of 34 students. For collecting data, the instruments used were quantitative (vocabulary test) and qualitative data (interview sheet, observation sheet, and diary notes. Based on the data, it was found that the mean of the second cycle (80, 44) is higher than the mean of first cycle (64, 85) and pre-test (44, 41).  Based on interview sheet, observation sheet and diary notes, it was found thee students were more active and more enthusiastic during the teaching learning process in the second cycle than the first one. It was concluded that teaching vocabulary by using  flash cards can improve the students’ vocabulary achievement.

<p><em>This research was classroom action research. Classroom action research was a research that was conducted by a teacher in order to find out solutions of any problems found during teaching and learning process. In this research, it was done to explain whether by using an outline technique could improve the students’ writing paragraph and also to investigate some factors that influenced the students in writing descriptive paragraph. This research was done at grade VIII B of SMP Negeri 6 Sungai Penuh in academic year 2017/2018. From the result of the test in this research, the result was increased in cycle and two. In cycle one, the mean score was 58.25% and it increased to 76.87%, it increased 18.63% point. It meant that teaching writing through outline improved the students’ writing skill. The improvements were also improved on the result of each sub-indicators of writing test between cycle 1 and 2. </em></p>

This Classroom Action Research aims to increase learning motivation and mastery of E-learning by using the Zenius application in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Kampar Utara in the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 32 people. This research was conducted from the beginning of April 2020 until the end of April 2020. This research is a classroom action research conducted online using several questionnaires, the link of which is sent to students through their WhatsApp group. This online research was conducted because it did not allow the writer to conduct research directly to school because at this time the teaching and learning process was carried out online. This online learning is due to the spread of the COVID-19 corona virus in almost all countries including Indonesia.

This study focused to improve Students’ Vocabulary Achievement by Applying Anagram PlusFlashcards. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of thisstudy was students in class VII-7 of SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar. There were 32 studentstaken as the subject. The instrument for collecting data were the test for vocabulary and diarynotes, questionnaire sheets, observation sheet, and interview for process of teaching andlearning vocabulary. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. The result of the researchshowed that the mean of students’ score in pre-test was 56.41, the mean of students’ score inpost-test I was 69.22. The mean of students’ score in post-test II was 76.72. There wereimprovement of students’ achievement from 56.41-76.72 about 20.31 point and that score(76.72) was excelled the indicator (75). Based on diary notes, questionnaire sheets,observation sheet, and interview, it found that teaching and learning process ran well.Students were active, cooperative, enthusiastic and interested in learning vocabulary.There were 16 students (50%) agreed that the students active in learning process, 20students (62.5%) were interested, 20 students (62.5%) were enthusiastic and 19 students(59.37%) were agreed that strategy of learning was effective. It can be concluded that theapplication of anagram plus flashcards had successfully improved the students’ vocabularyachievement at the SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar.

The objective of the research was to find out whether Anagrams increased students’ vocabulary mastery and to find out how was the students’ mastery in learning vocabulary by using Anagrams. The subject of this research was the second year students of MTs Al Washliyah 32 Sei Bamban in academic year 2018/2019 which consisted of thirty people. In this research, it was applied the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Technique of collecting the data was to use a written test, in a certain topic applied in Anagram technique where the researcher made the indicators as the test consisted of twenty where each number amounts to 5. Then the researcher observed the students’ action while the use of Anagram technique was implemented and also the students’ opinion about the effectiveness of Anagram technique toward their vocabulary mastery. The result of the research showed that the students’ score in the second cycle was higher (85-95) than the first cycle (68-90).  In other words it indicated that the use of Anagrams really increase students’ vocabulary mastery.

This research is based on the teaching and learning process of the teacher still using conventional methods and students often play alone in the classroom during learning, take a walk in the classroom, pay less attention to the teacher when explaining the subject matter, leave the classroom without the teacher's permission, lack the courage to ask questions. as well as to fellow friends when the learning process takes place. This study aims to describe the increase in learning outcomes of Civics subjects through the use of the Picture and Picture method in grade IXA students of SMP Negeri 6 Muara Bungo Semester 2 in the 2018/2019 academic year. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative descriptive approach carried out in two cycles. The results showed that the use of the Picture and Picture method in Civics learning could increase student activity in the pre-cycle only 32.14%, 42.86% in first cycle, and 85% in second cycle, and the number of students who completed increased in the pre-cycle there were 10 students. , cycle I 19 students, and cycle II 28 students.

This study is aimed to improve the students’ vocabulary acquisition through derivational suffixes strategy. The subject of this study is the students of Class IX-1 of SMP Santo Petrus Medan in the academic year of 2017/2018. This study is conducted by applying Classroom Action Research (CAR), which have been conducted in two cycles (cycle 1 and cycle 2) and each cycle consisted of four meetings. The results of vocabulary test shows that the progressing mean score of the pretest is 34.66, post test in cycle 1 is 93.46, and post test in cycle 2 is 97.33. In cycle 1, the comparison percentage of nominal is 88.83%, verbal is 77.46%, adjectival is 40.74%, and adverbial is 84.14%. In cycle 2, the comparison percentage of nominal is 100%, verbal is 95.45%, adjectival is 65.84%, and adverbial is 94.91%. The percentage of the students who pass Minimal Criterion Mastery in each cycle is 100%, with the improvement 169.64% in cycle 1 to 180.81% in cycle 2. These indicate that there is a significant improvement of the students’ vocabulary mastery through affixation strategy of Class IX-1 of SMP Santo Petrus Medan in the academic year of 2017/2018.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan teknik dasar lempar cakram dalam proses belajar mengajar dengan mengunakan media modifikasi pada siswa kelas V B SD Negeri 18 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Subjek penelitian siswa kelas V B SD Negeri 18 Kota Bengkulu yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil pra siklus dalam proses belajar mengajar teknik dasar lempar cakram secara keseluruhan terdapat  20% tuntas belajar dan 80% belum tuntas belajar. Dan hasil penelitian pada siklus kesatu menunjukan bahwa jumlah indikator pada lembar observasi aktivitas guru dalam pembelajaran masih terlaksana 18 item atau baru mendapat presentase (72%), dan pada lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran masih terlaksana 13 item atau baru mendapat presentase (52%) dari jumlah keseluruhan lembar observasi yaitu 25 item. Ini menunjukan bahwa proses belajar mengajar baik guru maupun siswa masih rendah atau masih pada kategori belum tuntas belajar. Sedangkan hasil disiklus ke dua menunjukan bahwa jumlah indikator yang guru lakukan pada proses belajar mengajar meningkat yaitu 22 item atau mendapat presentase (88%). Begitu juga dengan jumlah indikator yang siswa ikuti pada proses belajar mengajar disiklus ke dua meningkat menjadi  20 item atau mendapat presentase (80%). Ini menunjukan bahwa tindakan yang dilakukan disiklus kedua baik guru maupun siswa dapat dikatakan telah tuntas belajar. Berdasarkan hasil diatas maka disimpulkan bahwa dengan mengunakan media modifikasi dapat meningkatkan proses belajar mengajar teknik dasar lempar cakram. Kata kunci : teknik dasar lempar cakram, proses belajar mengajar menggunakan media modifikasi.AbstractThis research aims to improve the basic technique of the disc throwing in the learning process by using a modified media on students grade 5th Elementary School Number 18 Bengkulu City.  The type of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is student grade 5th Elementary School Number 18 Bengkulu City which have 25 students inside. The result of pre-cycle in the class shows, the technique of disc throwing, overall there is 20 percent of the total students has been thoroughly studied and 80 percent of students hasnot been thoroughly studied. The results of this research, on first cycle show that just 18 items of all the items in observation sheet or 72 percents which teacher do on class, and just 13 items of all the items in student observation sheet or 52 percents which students do on class. It shows the class on category has not been thoroughly studied. While on second cycle show the total indicator which teacher do going into 22 items or 88 percent. The students also do better cause  on second cycle total indicator which students do going into 20 items or 80 percent. It show that activity which  do in the second cycle satisfaction. Based on result above, we can take conclusion modified media can increase teaching and learning process on class especially on disc throwing matery. This study attempted to improve students’ achievement in vocabulary by using Realia. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of the research was class VII-1 at SMP.N.17 Medan which consisted of 38 students. The research was conducted in two cycles, cycle I consisted of three meetings and cycle II consisted of three meetings. The instrument for collecting quantitative data was a vocabulary test and the instruments for collecting qualitative data included diary notes, observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and interview. Based on the vocabulary test, students’ score kept improving in every test and based on the diary notes, observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and interview report, it was found that the teaching-learning process ran well. Students were active, enthusiastic, and interested in vocabulary. The result of the research showed that Realia significantly improved students’ achievement in vocabulary.
