This study uses a quantitative method with the acquisition and secondary data collection. The companies that became the sample of this study were 30 companies that applied accounting conservatism. The number of samples that could be analyzed were 30 samples, thus the number of samples over three years was 90 samples (30x3). The results of the X1 Variable Test (Structure Ownership) gave a parameter coefficient (t-count) of 1,809 with a significance level of 0.07 (0.10). This means that H1 is accepted (Hair, 2017) so it can be said that Structure Ownership has a positive and significant effect on Tax Avoidance Variable X2 (Characteristics of Auditors) giving a parameter coefficient value of 0.02 (0.05). This means that H1 is accepted so that it can be said that the auditor's characteristics have a significant and significant effect on tax avoidance because the level of significance possessed by the auditor's variable characteristics 0.05 (0.02 0.05) and tcount 1.668 (2,347 1,668).

Aim of this research is to determine the effect of accounting conservatism and tax avoidance on firm value. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of annual reports of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2013-2016 period. The number of samples is 48 manufacturing companies. The data analysis technique used is regression analysis. The results of the study show that conservatism has a positive effect on firm value, tax avoidance has a negative effect on firm value. While simultaneously conservatism and tax avoidance have a positive effect on firm value. Thus this study supports that accounting conservatism has a role as a function of monitoring the company's investment policies and one way to maintain the value of the company in limiting losses that may arise from poorly performing investment decisions. The company that conducts tax avoidance (has a smaller effective tax rate) is an effort made by management to reduce the company's tax burden and is able to minimize expenditure for tax purposes so that management looks good in the eyes of shareholders.

This study examined the extent to which investment in property, plant & equipment (PPE) made by listed manufacturing companies in Nigeria relate with the return on assets (ROA). The non-usage of composite appraisal techniques, other than traditional budgeting techniques was seen as a major problem of investment decisions on PPE. The study adopted the quantitative panel methodology of the ex post facto and correlational research design. Secondary data were extracted from the fact books of the Nigerian Stock Exchange for the period, 2013 – 2018. The number of manufacturing companies listed in the Stock Exchange during this period was 83, which was also taken as the population of the study. The sample used in the study was 69. Three hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. Multiple and simple regression analyses were used on the data collected, to find the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The hypotheses tested indicated in the findings that property, plant and equipment had a significant relationship with return on assets of listed manufacturing firms in Nigeria when there is a joint relationship between variables of property, plant & equipment (PPE) and return on asset (ROA). Based on the findings and conclusion, it was recommended that management of manufacturing companies should ensure a holistic use of all techniques, exploring the real and growth options analyses as well as portfolio management techniques involving productive non-current assets, to earn the benefit of return on assets invested.
