Objective of the study: to identify the intellectual structure of research on Internal Stickiness (IS) from the references existing in publications on this topic.Methodology / Approach: a bibliometric analysis of quotation and quotation was used, as well as a network analysis. The sample, after worked and free of articles that were not part of the theme, was composed of 152 articles from 1994 to 2018.Originality / Relevance: The transfer of knowledge and best practices among members of the organization has attracted considerations from academia and organizations, because the company's competitiveness is directly linked to the knowledge acquired and its sharing. The difficulty of transferring knowledge and best practices in organizations is represented by the term Internal Stickiness (IS).Main results: three fields were identified that guide research on (IS): Knowledge Transfer; Knowledge transfer as a positive factor for the organization; Knowledge Transfer and Strategic Innovation.Theoretical / methodological contributions: it was possible to identify that there was no review article on the topic (IS). So, this study was able to contribute with the theory and show the existing works that had a greater influence on (IS).Social / management contributions: it is noticed that the existing articles deal with (IS) as the difficulty of knowledge transfer. With this, this study can also contribute to the practice of knowledge transfer, mainly because this theme is related to the development of competitive advantage in companies.Keywords: Internal Stickiness; Knowledge Transfer; Bibliometric.

AbstractThe knowledge-based view of the firm portrays knowledge assets as the basis of sustainable competitive advantage. However, leveraging the knowledge available to the firm is not straightforward. The transfer of best practices within the firm or the replication of a certain routine poses challenges for managers. Causal ambiguity of knowledge makes it difficult to transfer practices into other contexts within the firm. In this paper, a new framework is proposed that identifies four antecedents to causal ambiguity: complexity, tacitness, relevance to the existing knowledge base, and the locality of knowledge. The paper concludes with the implications of the framework.

The importance given to knowledge in relation to business success has never been sogreat as it is today and there is a substantive amount of important and informed studiesreflecting this. Nonetheless, informed approaches by prominent authors generally focuson knowledge transfer mechanisms and the efficiency of these mechanisms to supportand deliver competitive advantage (Nonaka, 1994; Grant, 1996; Argote and Ingram,2000; Alavi and Leidner, 2001). An overarching objective of understanding efficientknowledge transfer is therefore a central caveat for businesses wishing to achievesuccess and maintain competitive advantage since it is clear that any significantdegradation of efficiency will directly affect this objective. Many studies do recognisedthe creation of knowledge as a significant factor in determining how effectively abusiness develops, and knowledge creation, theorised by (Nonaka and Takeuchi, 1995),is used as a baseline for numerous historic and current studies. To date however, therehave been few studies which denote the affect of socio-cultural or religious phenomenawithin a transfer scenario as significant, and how this interaction may affect the outcomeof the knowledge shared or exchanged in a business context. This paper thereforeexamines how, in a business context, knowledge transfer is influenced by perspectivesgiven to the knowledge. This rational is deliberate since the transfer of knowledge israrely a simple unproblematic event, (Argote et al., 2000). In this regards, we look at asignificant amount of literature and research which has been constructed in a bid tounderstand both the problematic nature surrounding the mechanics of the transfersequence and definition of the term ‘knowledge’ to support the establishment ofmeaningful baselines. The paper then summarises these theoretical baselines intosegmented contexts with deliberate intention

According to knowledge and network-based theories of multinational companies (MNCs), the main source of MNC competitive advantage is the creation and transfer of knowledge within the MNC system. The processes of knowledge creation and knowledge transfer are extensively investigated in the present literature. However, there are issues that are still underdeveloped, such as control and organizational mechanisms as a micro foundation of modern MNC theories. This paper is aimed at presenting an overview of the modern theoretical approaches of MNC competitive advantages from the managerial point of view. The applicability of these concepts is further considered in the case of MNC affiliates doing their business in transition economies in order to provide guidelines for future empirical research.

In this discussion, we consider the unity of knowledge, and deliberate acontrary perspective from current knowledge transfer practitioners, in abusiness context. We consider why, if knowledge is key for businesssuccess and competitive advantage, the transfer of knowledge remains forthe most part a problematic event. Further, if the creation of knowledgebefore transfer is recognised within literature as a significant factor indetermining a starting point for analogous scrutiny, then why is this focalpoint difficult to establish and measure.

The research objective is to analyze the direct impact of leadership toward transfer knowledge and work effectiveness in Boven Digoel. Data analysis in this research is quantitative using a path analysis model (path analysis) with the help of Smart PLS Software version 3.2 .8. The research distributed questionnaires to 89 respondents of officers assigned at the secretariat office in Boven Digoel Regency. On the basis of statistical results, it was found that leadership can be said to have impacted positively and significant knowledge transfer and work effectiveness. The knowledge transfer also has a positive impact on work effectiveness.

Background: The theoretical background of this article is on the model developed of knowledge transfer between universities and the industry in order to access the best practices and adapt to the study case in question regarding the model of promoting and manage innovation within the universities that best contribute with solution and projects to the business field. Objective: The development of a knowledge transfer model is the main goal of this article, supported in the best practices known and, also, to reflect in the main measurement definitions to evaluate the High Education Institution performance in this area. Methods: The method for this article development is the case study method because it allows the fully understanding of the dynamics present within a single setting, and the subject examined to comprehend what is being done and what the dynamics mean. The case study does not have a data collection method, as it is a research that may rely on multiple sources of evidence and data which should be converged. Results: Since it’s a case study this article present a fully description of the model proposed and implemented for the knowledge transfer process of the institution. Conclusion: Still in a discussion phase, this article presents as conclusions some questions and difficulties that could be pointed out, as well as some good perspectives of performed activity developed.

It argues that social network analysis is greater than a method or data, but serves as a central paradigm for understanding social life. The chapter offers evidence of the influence of social network analysis with a bibliometric analysis of research on social networks. This analysis underscores how pervasive network analysis has become and highlights key theoretical and methodological concerns. It also introduces the sections of the volume broadly structured around theory, methods, broad conceptualizations like culture and temporality, and disciplinary contributions. The chapter concludes by discussing several promising new directions in the field of social network analysis.

AbstractChildren’s books involve a large number of topics. Research on them has been paid much attention to by both scholars and practitioners. However, the existing achievements do not focus on China, which is the fastest growing market for children’s books in the world. Studies using quantitative analysis are low in number, especially on the intellectual structure, evolution patterns, and development trends of topics of children’s bestsellers in China. Dangdang.com, the biggest Chinese online bookstore, was chosen as a data source to obtain children’s bestsellers, and topic words in them were extracted from brief introductions. With the aid of co-occurrence theory and tools of social network analysis and visualization, the distribution, correlation structures, and evolution patterns of topics were revealed and visualized. This study shows that topics of Chinese children’s bestsellers are broad and relatively concentrated, but their distribution is unbalanced. There are four distinguished topic communities (Living, Animal, World, and Child) in terms of centrality and maturity, and they all establish their individual systems and tend to be mature. The evolution of these communities tends to be stable with powerful continuity.
