This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, self-concept and the performance effectiveness of Islamic Junior High School teachers in Islamic Boarding School, Langkat District, North Sumatra, Indonesia. This research used survey method with correlation technique. The sample in this study amounted to 32 teachers and the research data were collected by using questionnaires. All data were analyzed by using simple and multiple regression and correlation statistic. The results of this study revealed that: (1) there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and the effectiveness of teachers’ performance, (2) there is a positive relationship between self-concept and the effectiveness of teachers’ performance, and (3) there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence, self-concept and the effectiveness of teachers’ performance.

This study was conducted from February 2021 to March 2021 to determine the stress management amidst the covid - 19 pandemics of the junior high school teachers in selected high schools of Aborlan North. The descriptive research design, specifically the survey method, was used in this study. Data were gathered through survey questionnaires. A total of 39 permanent teachers were enumerated from the selected high schools as the respondents of the study. The result showed that most of the respondents were married females in their middle age. They had been in the service for a mean of 11.3 years and almost three fourth (74.4%) of them were Secondary School Teacher I with a mean teaching load of 26.4 hours per week. The perceived sources of stress such as work, family, personal, and environmental were considered distinctly part of the respondents’ lives. The level of perceived stress of the respondents was noted to be “high stress”. The activities engaged in very often to manage stress by a majority of the respondents were walking, praying, attending church/religious service, planting, gardening, and watering plants, washing domes, cooking/baking, evaluating oneself, watching the news, watching entertainment programs, watching “teledramas”, “telenovelas”, listening to music, texting, going to the internet, and talking with a family member.

This research aimed to describe the competency of junior high school teachers of Mathematics and Science subjects. This research uses descriptive method with the survey method. The data source in this research  is junior high school teachers of Mathematics and Science subjects which are incorporated in MGMP Sub Rayon 03 Samalantan, the number of teacher is 20. The data were collected through questionnaires. To find out the description of the competence of teachers it used descriptive analysis by using percentage. The result showed an overall competence of teachers are in a good category. The sequentially percentage of the competency of teachers are pedagogic (72.25%), professional competence (83.00%), personal competence (85.00%) and social competence (77%). This study aims to reveal the influence of leadership on organization commitment and theperformance of Islamic Junior High School (MTs) teachers in boarding school in Mataram city. Thestudy populations consisted of 358 fully-employed teachers who worked in Islamic Junior HighSchools of Pondok Pesantren (Boarding Schools) in Mataram City. By using Slovin formula, theresearcher took 79 teachers as the study samples. The study employed a research instrument in theform of a questionnaire containing question related to the variables under investigation, i.e.leadership, organizational commitment and teacher performance. The data were analyzed by usingSPSS path analysis. The result of this study reported that there was positive and significant impactof leadership on organizational commitment and the Performance of the Islamic Junior High Schooltechers at the Pondok Pesantren being investigated in Mataram city. Result of the study suggest thatto improve the performance of the Islamic Junior High School teachers, school leaders are adviced tokeep exercising their leadership skills and commitment to her organization.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Komitmen Organisasi, Kinerja, dan Analisis Jalur.

The research was motivated by the marks of Junior High School students from Central Jakarta are lower than other students from other Jakarta areas, which is suspected as the impact of the lack of effectiveness of teacher’s work. This research aims to determine whether or not the influence of supervision, integrity and trust on the effectiveness of teachers in Public Junior High School in Central Jakarta region. Survey method was used with quantitative research using path analysis to analyze the influence of one variable to other variables. The sample in this research were 114 teachers with civil servant status at Public Junior High School  in Central Jakarta region which was taken at random. The results of data analysis show that supervision, integrity, and trust have a direct positive effect on the effectiveness of teachers of Public Junior High School in Central Jakarta region.

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the correlation between junior high school (SMP) student academic achievement in terms of academic self-concept and emotional intelligence. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a positive correlation between academic self-concept and emotional intelligence with the academic achievement of junior high school students. Subjects in this study amounted to 193 class students, data collection was carried out using two scales, the academic self-concept scale and emotional intelligence scale and for academic achievement in the form of documentation of students' final semester scores. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results showed that there is: a very significant relationship between academic self-concept and emotional intelligence with academic achievement.

In a number of junior high schools based on the Islamic boarding school inLhokseumawe city do not have Arabic teachers with educational backgrounds accordingto their fields of expertise, this will affect the professionalism of teachers in teachingArabic subjects. The purpose of this study was to explain the leadership style ofprincipal’s Junior High School (MTsS) in carrying out their duties, to descripe theprofessionalism of Arabic Junior high School (MTsS) teachers in carrying out their dutiesand to know the influence of principal leadership style on the professionalism of ArabicJunior High School teachers in Islamic boarding school in Lhokseumawe City. Themethod used is a survey method with a quantitative approach, the sample is 27respondents. Data analyzes using simple linear regression. The results showed that 81%(22 teachers) favored the principal's leadership style and 70% (19 Arabic languageteachers) were able to develop their professional competencies. Simple linear regressiontest results show the significance value for the influence of X on Y is 9,308> 2,055, thus there is a significant influence of school leadership on the professionalism of Arabic MTsS  Islamic boarding School teachers in Lhokseumawe.

This study aims to find out how religious culture  influence the emotional intelligence of students at a Junior High School.  This study used quantitative method. The sample of the study  was 46 Junior High School students selected randomly. The students were given questionnaires using Likert scale.  Validity test was done using Pearson’s Product Moment correlation technique, while the reliability test used Alpha formula. Prerequisite analysis test used normality test and linearity test. The data was analyzed using simple linear regression techniques. The level of significance of the results of the analysis wass determined at 5%. The number of valid items for religious culture variables was 15 items, and the number of valid items for the emotional intelligence variable was 17 items. This study found that religious culture applied at Junior High School (SMP) 10 Sigi effected  the emotional intelligence of the students. It was found that  the r count value of 0.590 compared to the r table value (0.05 ; 46) = 0, 285. The obtained r count> r table was 0.590> 0, 285, meaning that there is a significant influence. This means the religious culture of the school as an independent variable influences emotional intelligence as the dependent variable and it appears that the implementation of religious culture is more effective to increase the students emotional intelligence.

  ABSTRACT The background of this research is the teacher as a component that greatly influences the educational process and the main factors that determine the quality of education. The teacher is the spearhead that is directly related to students as the subject and object of learning in the teaching and learning process. The availability of a good education curriculum, complete educational facilities and infrastructure, but if not balanced with the ability of teachers who are able to implement it, then everything will be less meaningful and not support the achievement of educational goals. The study was conducted at a junior high school located in the District of Cibinong, Bogor Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Principal Leadership and Infrastructure Facilities on the Performance of Junior High School Teachers in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency. This research is a quantitative study using a survey approach to obtain an overview and correlation of research variables, namely Principal Leadership (Variable X1), Infrastructure Facilities (variable X2) and Teacher Performance (variable Y) of SMP in Cibinong District, Bogor. Data collection techniques used were observation, documentation study, questionnaires. Data analysis techniques through three stages, namely descriptive analysis, quantitative analysis and research hypothesis testing. The results showed that (1) the Principal's Leadership influenced significantly and rather high and the direction of a positive relationship to the Performance of Junior High School Teachers in Bogor Regency. (2) The Infrastructure Facility influence significantly and has a rather high and direction of a positive relationship to the Performance of Junior High School Teachers in Bogor Regency. This study aims to improve teacher competence in planning authentic assessments with group guidance. The research method used is classroom action research. The research subjects were 10 teachers at Mandau 011 Junior High School. The timing of the research is carried out in two cycles starting on Monday 11 February to Saturday 23 February 2019. Analysis of the data used is qualitative in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. While for quantitative data descriptive analysis is carried out by calculating the average value and percentage. The results of the study indicate an increase in the competency of 011 Mandau Junior High School teachers in planning authentic assessments with group guidance. there is a cycle I of the average teacher competence of 70,6 with sufficient categories. The average teacher competency in the second cycle is 76,3 which is included in the good category. Classically, as many as 90% of teachers have been able to plan authentic assessments properly.
