ABSTRACT The genesis of many landscapes is done by all the anthropological-natural influences experienced by the component elements that change and shape the new imposed functional logic, which creates more fragile and susceptible to environmental damage landscapes like the river the river basin St Michael, in the state of Alagoas that has a degree of change that can compromise its environmental dynamics. Through the use of assumptions of the theory of geosystems, we aimed to focus on the landscape study for the interpretation of transformations, in which the contents of human action are already incorporated. In the first part, will be presented the study area and will be woven some considerations on the implementation of geosystem theory in landscape analysis in the context of physical geography and below, the study focuses on environmental change in said basin will be covered. You can reach the conclusion that the geosystem is an interesting proposal within an integrative perspective that is expected from studies on the evolution of natural landscapes and humanized.
Some of the main problems in hydrological sciences are related to how and why river flows change as a result of environmental change, and what are the corresponding implications for society. This has been described as the Panta Rhei context, which refers to the challenge of understanding and quantifying hydrological dynamics in a changing environment, i.e. under the influence of non-stationary effects. The river flow regime in a basin is the result of a complex aggregation process that has been studied by the scaling theory, which allows river basins to be classified as regulated or unregulated and to identify a critical threshold between these states. Regulation is defined here as the basin’s capacity to either dampen high flows or to enhance low flows. This capacity depends on how basins store and release water through time, which in turn depends on many processes that are highly dynamic and sensitive to environmental change. Here we focus on the Magdalena river basin in northwestern South America, which is the main basin for water and energy security in Colombia, and at the same time, it has been identified as one of the most vulnerable regions to be affected by climate change. Building upon some of our previous studies, here we use data analysis to study the evolution of regulation in the Magdalena basin for 1992-2015 based on the scaling theory for extreme flows. In contrast to most previous studies, here we focus on the scaling properties of events rather than on long term averages. We discuss possible relations between changes in the scaling properties and environmental factors such as climate variability, climate change, and land use/land cover change, as well as the potential implications for water security in the country. Our results show that, during the last few decades, the Magdalena river basin has maintained its capacity to regulate low flows (i.e. amplification) whereas it has been losing its capacity to regulate high flows (i.e. dampening), which could be associated with the occurrence of the extremes phases of El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and anthropogenic effects, mainly deforestation. These results provide foundations for using the scaling laws as empirical tools for understanding temporal changes of hydrological regulation and simultaneously generate useful scientific evidence that allows stakeholders to take decisions related to water management in the Magdalena river basin in the context of environmental change.

STUDY ON THE POSSIBILITY OF BIOGAS PRODUCING FROM AGRICULTURAL WASTE THE STATE OF TOCANTINS ABSTRACT: Beef and dairy cattle growing is one of the biggest production in the State of Tocantins - Brazil, favored by weather conditions. In 2015, the state produced 8 million cattle and buffalo, 296,000 pigs and 158,900 goats. The socioeconomic boundaries will have a significant improvement with the use of waste generated in rural activity for the generation of energy, as well as the reduction of environmental damage caused by the waste produced. Given the above, the objective of the present work was to evaluate the potential of biogas production for energy generation, through the fermentation of residues from the Tocantins state agriculture and livestock. The methodology used was the literature review, the systematic, the descriptive and the explanatory. This article verified the social, environmental and economic relevance of the insertion of energy produced from agricultural residues in the Brazilian Energy Matrix. Although they have costs to install the system in the state, the use of fermentative digesters is an alternative to reduce the problems with the improper disposal of agricultural residues, besides being a form of clean energy, this method has a source of resources with the trade. carbon credits due to non-emission of methane gas. Keywords: agricultural residues, energy, biogas.

The principles of scientific attribution of liturgical cyrillic manuscripts, which has been worked out by author, are examined. The thorough study of Jerusalem Ecclesiastic Typikon from the rare books and manuscripts department’s collection of Maksymovych Scientific Library of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is conducted. The stages of manuscript attribution are analyzed, including the date identification and localization of its origins and use. The type and the title of the codex have been identificated by the analysis of book’s texts. The linguistic variant of Church Slavonic language, used for re-writing the copy, is revealed, which has helped to localize the place of creation. Detailed watermark analysis of paper, which the copy had been made of, has allowed to estimate date range of its production. The problematic ascertainment of the date of creation has been also supported by the analysis of the textual sources, studying of palaeographic peculiarities of cyrillic script book, the inner book’s decorative features. The problem of binding production date, its construction, materials and design, is formulated. The state of preservation of manuscript is analysed, which led the author to understanding the extent of book’s relevance for its readers. The history of manuscript restoration and its stages have been studied. The places of use and migration of the copy are revealed on the basis of provenance examination up till its arrival to Maksymovych Scientific Library’s rare books collection.
