Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of intangible assets, firm size, tax compliance, leverage on transfer pricing. The data analysis uses multiple linear regressions on 12 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2015-2019. The results of this study show that intangible assets, firm size, tax compliance, leverage simultaneously have a significant effect on a company’s decision to practice transfer pricing, as well as intangible assets and leverage partially, have a positive and significant effect on transfer pricing. But firm size partly has a negative and significant effect on transfer pricing. Meanwhile, tax compliance has no significant effect on transfer pricing.  Keywords: Intangible Assets, Firm Size, Tax Compliance, Leverage, and Transfer Pricing

The aim of this study is to determine and examine the influence of cash position, debt to equity ratio, and growth potential to the dividend payout ratio of companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The analysis method of the data used to test the hypothesis is the multiple linear regressions. The test result showed that simultaneous cash position, debt to equity ratio, and growth potential did not significantly influence the dividend payout ratio at manufacturing companies listed on the BEI. The test results showed that only partially variable cash position that significantly influence the dividend payout ratio of companies listed on the Stock Exchange, while variable debt to equity ratio, and growth potential does not affect the dividend payout ratio of companies listed on the BEIDOI: 10.15408/etk.v12i1.1904

This study aims to analyze the influence of firm size, financial distress, debt level, and managerial ownership on hedging decisions on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This type of research is associative-causality research. The population of this research is all the go pubic manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, which are 170 companies. The number of samples used was 81 companies, which were taken using a purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques use documentation techniques obtained from the annual financial statements of manufacturing companies. The data analysis technique uses the logistic regression analysis method. The results of data analysis show that: (1) firm size and managerial ownership variables have a positive and significant effect on hedging decisions and (2) financial distress and debt levels have a negative and insignificant effect on hedging decisions.Keywords:hedging, firm size, financial distress, debt level, managerial ownership

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui besarnya pengaruh tax planning, thin capitalization, dan intangible assets terhadap keputusan perusahaan dalam melakukan transfer pricing. Penelitian ini menggunakan 78 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2014 hingga 2018 sebagai populasi penelitian. Pemilihan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dan diperoleh hanya 65 data yang dapat digunakan untuk data analisis. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan uji linear berganda untuk model regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa thin capitalization dan intangible assets tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keputusan perusahaan dalam melakukan transfer pricing. Sedangkan, tax planning berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keputusan perusahaan dalam melakukan transfer pricing.  Kata kunci: Transfer Pricing; Tax Planning; Thin Capitalization; Intangible Assets ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze and determine the affect of tax planning, thin capitalization, and intangible assets on company decisions in transfer pricing. This study aims to determine the effect of firm size and profitability on firm value with accounting conservatism as a moderating variable. The population of this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019 as many as 183 companies. The sampling technique used purposive sampling which resulted in 72 manufacturing companies. The data analysis technique uses regression analysis with SPSS 24. The results of this study indicate that firm size and profitability have a positive and significant effect on firm value. Furthermore, the variable of accounting conservatism is able to moderate the effect of firm size and profitability on firm value in a positive and significant way.

Abstract: In the era of globalization, companies are developing into multinational companies that establish branches or subsidiaries in various countries. This globalization has given an impact to increase international transaction. These transactions could lead to transactions with related parties that shows an indication of transfer pricing. Along with the development of globalization, factors affecting transfer pricing are not only derived from taxes, but also from other factors. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of tax, exchange rate, tunneling incentive, and firm size on transfer pricing. This research used secondary data in the form of annual reports published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Population of this research was manufacturing companies for years 2014-2018 and by purposive sampling method, a sample of 19 manufacturing companies was obtained. Analysis technique used on this research was a multiple linear regression using SPSS 23 application. The result shows that tax, tunneling incentive, firm size have significant effect on transfer pricing, while exchange rate does not take any effect on transfer pricing. Adjusted R2 determination coefficient of 32,8% shows transfer pricing is affected by tax, exchange rate, tunneling incentive, and firm size, while remaining 67,2% is affected by other variables outside research model. <p>This study aims to examine the effect of tax expenses, foreign ownership on transfer pricing decisions. This study employs quantitative methods. This study's data type is secondary data from the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2019. Data were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange's official website at http: //www.idx.co.id. Sampling was conducted by purposive sampling technique with a final sample of 30 observations. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis with panel data. This study concludes that tax expenses and intangible assets are positively associated with transfer pricing decisions, while foreign ownership is not associated with transfer pricing decisions. This study indicates that Indonesia's Tax Authority needs to exercise tighter supervision on MNCs with intangible assets.</p>

This research aims to examine the effect of executive competency, the firm size, the independent commissioner and the institutional ownership towards tax avoidance. The number of population in this research is 141 manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2012 to2014. This research uses purposive sampling technique. The multiple linear regression analysis is used to analyze the data. There are 49 companies used as the samples of this study. Based on the conducted data analysis on this research, it concludes that:( 1 ) the executive competence has no effects on tax avoidance ( 2 ) the firm size has no effects on tax avoidance ( 3 ) the independent commissioner has no effects on tax avoidance while ( 4 )the institutional ownership affects tax avoidance.

<p><em>This study aims to determine the effect of tax, company size, profitability, and leverage on the company's decision to practice transfer pricing. The dependent variable in this study is transfer pricing. Meanwhile, the independent variables used are tax, company size, profitability, and leverage. The study was conducted on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with a purposive sampling method. Penelitian ini bertujuan memprediksi kemungkinan terjadinya financial distress pada perusahaan manufaktur yang ada di Indonesia periode 2013-2017. Pendekatan yang dilakukan untuk memprediksi financial distress dengan melihat pengaruh beberapa rasio yaitu Leverage (DAR), Profitabilitas (ROA), Likuiditas (Current Ratio), dan Firm Size  (variabel x) terhadap financial distress yang diukur dengan pendekatan altman (variabel Y). Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi berganda. Uji T secara  parsial dan Uji F secara bersama sama. Program analisis data yang digunakan adalah eviews6.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Leverage (DAR), Profitabilitas (ROA), Likuiditas (Current Ratio), dan Firm Size baik secara bersama-sama maupun secara parsial terhadap Financial Distress (Zscore) manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2013-2017. This study aims to predict the possibility of financial distress in manufacturing companies in Indonesia in the period 2013-2017. The approach taken to predict financial distress by looking at the effect of several ratios, namely Leverage (DAR), Profitability (ROA), Liquidity (Current Ratio), and Firm Size (variable x) on financial distress as measured by the Altman approach (variable Y). The analytical method used in this study is multiple regression. Partial T test and F test together. The data analysis program used was eviews6. The results showed that there was a significant effect between Leverage (DAR), Profitability (ROA), Liquidity (Current Ratio), and Firm Size both jointly or partially against manufacturing Financial Distress (Zscore) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2013-2017 period.

The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence on the influence of taxes, tunneling incentives for income shifting, financial reporting and intangible assets on transfer pricing decisions. The data used is secondary data in the form of annual financial statements downloaded from the official website of IDX www.idx.co.id. The population of this study is a manufacturing company registered in IDX for the period 2016-2018. Sample selection technique using purposive sampling method so that 33 companies are obtained according to the criteria. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regressions tested with SPSS version 20 applications. The results showed that taxes, tunneling incentives for income shifting, and financial reporting had no effect on transfer pricing decisions. Meanwhile, intangible assets have a significant positive effect on transfer pricing decisions.
