Purpose The modification of the tribological system is an essential aspect of the implementation of resource-saving processes in cold forming. As a result, the focus of this contribution is the influence of the tribological system on the full forward impact extrusion of aluminum alloy EN AW 6082 (T6) with regard to reduction of friction and wear. Design/methodology/approach The investigations included a variation of lubricant and die treatment. Friction, wear and the mean arithmetic height Sa were used as evaluation criteria. The aim was to find a suitable die surface treatment and a suitable lubricant on the basis of the evaluation criteria. Findings The experiments indicated that each of the selected tribological systems prevents physical metallic contact between tool and workpiece and thus prevents the formation of wear. Nevertheless, differences were found in the areas of smoothing of workpiece surfaces and adhesive strength of lubricants. Originality/value As general cause effect relationships between die coating and lubricant are not known in the field of bulk metal forming of aluminum, fundamental investigations are described below. The investigations focus on the influence of the material and the tribological system on friction as well as wear. The article is devoted to the substantiation of technological foundations for the restoration of extremely worn-out, metal-consuming, and resource-consuming parts, in a method consisting of applying a compensating metal wear with subsequent plastic deformation. Currently, there are no technologies for their restoration in a repair facility that guarantee the resilience of the factory product. The proposed technological process of repair consists of butt welding onto the end of the spline semi-axle shank, compensating for the wear of the metal, the volume of which takes into account the losses resulting from the wear of the slots, as well as allowances for their machining. In the example of forging the axle shaft of a truck’s driving axle, the regularities of the plastic flow of metal during part deformation in the stamp are revealed. In the process of hot volumetric upsetting of long cylindrical parts with a variable diameter, it is important to know the possible directions of metal movements, as well as the energy-power characteristics of the process at various stages of forging. The evaluation criteria of the level of perfection of the technology were indicators of resource conservation and efficiency of the recovery route. The technological direction of the conducted research was analyzed, step by step, from the standpoint of saving repair materials and energy resources. The results of theoretical studies are crucial in the design of die tooling, for the manufacture of blanks, when restoring the rear axle shafts of trucks with pressure. Production tests carried out on the models, obtained as a result of mathematical processing of experimental data, confirmed the reliability of the experimental information. The introduction of the proposed set of repair equipment for the restoration of semi-axles will allow the formation of additional production in the region for the recycling of worn-out metal-intensive steel parts of agricultural machinery.

Modeling of an audit of industrial enterprises energy efficiency on the basis of energy and resource saving evaluation deals with the development of conceptual model domain of manufacturing enterprises resource saving and energy efficiency evaluation, and also with the clarification of the basic definitions of energy management informatization. The organizational, technical and technological development of industrial subset of analyzed enterprises is projected with regard to the continuity, cyclicality, route of all technological processes. These processes are formed by using modular-technological and readily replaceable equipment and modern informatization systems which allow to get the necessary production and managing information just-in-time for all executive staff and engineers about the run-out production and the state of production on the basis of quick and strategic synchronization of all the components of production functioning, including energetic resource saving of production processes. In order to find solutions to the named above accurate theoretical problems of audit modeling of energy and resource saving index of the industrial enterprises which are focused on the rise of energy efficiency, the complex model of evaluation of the management, production organization and resources optimization quality level is suggested, where we take as a basis theoretical and methodological principles of modeling of main components of enterprise business processes on the base of diagnostics and synchronization of production processes that are gained due to informatization systems.

In the current system of contract bidding, there are a number of problems, one of which is the imperfection of the evaluation criteria by which applicants are selected. The article presents a methodology for assessing the organizational and technological reliability of a construction organization and its competitive offers for tenders for construction and installation works. It is proposed to use the indicator of its organizational and technological reliability as a criterion for evaluating a construction organization that claims to fulfill a construction order. To determine the reliability of a construction company, information about the intensity of development of capital investments is used. This indicator allows you to assess how much the bidder can ensure the maximum return on the construction equipment and workers used, reduce the cost of construction using modern construction materials and resource-saving technologies. Each construction and installation organization will have its own intensity of development of capital investments. It depends on the qualification of employees, the availability and use of a fleet of construction machines and mechanisms, construction production technologies, construction organization methods, etc. As an indicator that characterizes the relative change in the actual development of capital investments from the standard or calculated value, the capital investment development index is used. Using retrospective data on the speed of capital investment development for similar objects or using variant design of the construction process, curves of accumulated probabilities of capital investment development indices are constructed, which are used to determine the organizational and technological reliability of the contract bidder. The proposed assessment of the reliability of a construction organization allows the customer (investor) to choose a reliable partner – contractor that best meets their requirements.

One of the measures to eliminate the consequences of the Chernobyl accident was the exclusion of highly contaminated land from agricultural use. Due to the positive dynamics of the radiation situation, the issue of land return becomes relevant. However, in the period of exclusion of these lands the land clearance degradation processes were developing. The second part of the article is devoted to the issue of economic evaluation of the expediency of land return and the mutual coordination of the results of separate stages of complex ecological and economic evaluation. The research was carried out in Mogilev branch Institute of radiology (Republic of Belarus).

The objective of this paper is an attempt to explain the determinants of the lowest governance quality level in one of the communes of the Opolskie Province, Poland. The first stage of the research consisted in developing a commune-level governance quality index in order to measure the quality of governance in the 60 communes of the Opolskie Province. Subsequently, the commune with the lowest score in the index was qualified for the second stage of the research which was based on the extreme case method. The major conclusion from the research is that the commune leader's governance style which allowed him to hold on to power for many terms of office was responsible for generating low governance quality. Furthermore, the low quality of governance was not only the effect of the governance style but also the strategy aimed at remaining in the commune leader office for many terms.
