ABSTRACTThe realization of the poverty level in Bangka Belitung Province from 2013 to 2015 fluctuated. The levels of poverty in 2013 and 2015 did not reach the target while that of 2014 reached it. This research aims to analyze the implementation of planning and budgeting and to formulate strategies for strengthening the planning and budgeting of Bangka Belitung Province in regards to poverty alleviation. The analyses were carried out using the qualitative and quantitative methods. This research used primary and secondary data, and the determination of samples was conducted using a purpossive sampling technique. The results of the research show that (1) the level of planning and budgeting implementation in Bangka Belitung Province in poverty alleviation in the year of 2013-2015 was moderate with low competence variable of human resource, and this needs to be improved; (2) the internal and external matrices of the governmental policy of Bangka Belitung Provincial in supporting poverty alleviation with weighted score data of 2.354 and 3.055 were in quadrant II that is grow and build through intensive and integrated strategy; (3) the main strategy that must be implemented is to improve the support of local and central government policies in human resources development and planner apparatus to facilitate poverty alleviation. Implementation that can be conducted is the capacity building program of the planner apparatus for the period of 2018-2022.Keywords: integrated strategy, intensive strategy, implementation level, povertyABSTRAKRealisasi tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Kepuluan Bangka Belitung dari tahun 2013-2015 bersifat fluktuatif. Tingkat kemiskinan tahun 2013 dan 2015 tidak mencapai target, sedangkan tahun 2014 telah mencapai target. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Penentuan sampel dipilih secara sengaja. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tingkat implementasi perencanaan dan penganggaran di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dalam penanggulangan kemiskinan tahun 2013-2015 adalah sedang dengan variabel kompetensi SDM rendah dan masih harus dilakukan perbaikan; (2) matriks internal dan eksternal kebijakan Pemerintah Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dalam mendukung penanggulangan kemiskinan dengan data skor terbobot 2.354 dan 3.055 berada pada kuadran II  grow and build melalui strategi intensif dan terintegrasi; (3) strategi utama yang harus dilaksanakan adalah meningkatkan dukungan kebijakan Pemerintah Daerah dan Pusat dalam pembinaan dan pengembangan SDM aparatur perencana untuk mempermudah penanggulangan kemiskinan. This study investigated the factors that affect the loan repayment performance of Omo Microfinance Institution borrowers at Wondo Genet Woreda, Ethiopia. Both primary and secondary data were used in the study. The required data were collected from 225 borrowers of Omo Microfinance. Respondents were selected by a stratified random sampling technique. Both qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis were used. The findings of the study revealed that 44.9% of borrowers in the study area did not repay the amount of money they borrowed as per credit schedules. The major factors that affect the loan repayment performance of borrowers were their sex, educational level, family size, borrowing experience, timelines of loan, repayment period and advisory visit.

This study investigates the role of media in economic development of community in the case of South Radio and Television Agency Bonga branch Radio in Decha woreda, Kafa Zone in southern Ethiopia. The study has attempted to address the contribution of media in changing the audience’s knowledge, attitude, and practices in the community’s economic activities. In this study to address the objectives, a researcher applied mixed research approaches and descriptive design. Both primary and secondary data were used in the study and analyzed through qualitative and quantitative methods. To investigate information about the intended objective of the study, the data were collected through questionnaires, key informant interviews and focus group discussions. To determine the sample size for the study, multi-stage sampling technique was employed. Three Kebeles were selected purposively and 106 respondents participated in the study. The general finding of the study shows that Bonga branch radio has been influencing the behavior (attitude, knowledge and practice) of the community in their agricultural productivity, income generation, job creation and saving culture in its information transmits both in news and program formats in the community’s ethnic language. Even though, the media is playing its role in the community’s development, different challenges have been identified. Finally, the researcher tried to forward the recommendations; the local government should support the media, the media management should arrange training for the journalists and technician of the radio station and should take improving measures of transmission coverage of the radio station.

The study also reveals that the acceptance of the role of radio in the community is high since it transmits its different programs and news content in the ethnic language of the community in which the members can easily understand. Even though the media is playing its role in the community’s social development, different challenges have been observed in the branch radio station. Based on the finding, recommendation has been forwarded that the local government bodies should change their outlook towards the media organization. The media management should take the improving measures, such as the journalists and technician capacity building, the transmission coverage of the radio station, and revision of the news and program content format that will enable the media to meet the satisfaction of the audience.

The study analyzed the contribution of loan management on the financial performance of Umurenge Savings and Credit Cooperatives in Rwanda. The study adopted the use of descriptive survey using both qualitative and quantitative methods for a total sample size of 78 clients who have received more than two times the loan. Purposive and simple random sampling was used for this purpose. Primary and secondary data were collected and then analyzed. The study found that loan management determinants used such as membership enrolment, client appraisal, credit risk control and collection policy impact on financial performance respectively at 23,9%; 24,1%; 39,2 % ; 28,4%.Loan management practices have a high influence on the SACCO’s financial performance during the five years.The correlation results imply that suitable loan management in a saving and credit institution has a positive impact on financial sustainability and profitability and on financial efficiency and productivity as they move in the same direction (R=0.980).

ABSTRAKAglomerasi suatu kawasan sering kali disebabkan adanya konurbasi suatu wilayah dengan dipengaruhi adanya perkembangan kawasan perumahan dan permukiman dalam suatu wilayah sehingga perlu adanya arahan terkait pemanfaatan lahan dan pengendalian pembangunan perumahan dan kawasan permukiman khususnya yang berada pada kawasan lintas daerah kabupaten/kota yang ada di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Adapun tujuannya dari penelitian ini adalah agar tidak terjadi perbedaan konsep pengembangan ruang perkotaan dan permukiman pada daerah lintas kabupaten/kota tersebut, dan keterpaduan rencana pemanfaatan dan pengendalian yang lebih detail dapat terwujud yakni perumahan dan kawasan permukiman yang berkualitas dan berkelanjutan. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode diskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan bersumber dari data-data sekunder dan data primer. Adapun arahan keterpaduan pemanfaatan dan pengendalian pembangunan perumahan dan kawasan permukiman pada lintas daerah kabupaten/kota diatur dalam sebuah peraturan zonasi yang terbagi atas dua peruntukan yaitu kawasan peruntukan permukiman perkotaan dan kawasan peruntukan permukiman perdesaan. Pada masing-masing peraturan tersebut mengatur terkait perijinan pengembangan perumahan, intensitas bangunan, Sarana dan prasarana pendukung dan moda sarana angkutan masal, pengembangan Fasilitas Lainnya dan Larangan pengembangan lahan.Kata kunci: Aglomerasi, Konurbasi, Perumahan permukiman lintas daerah.ABSTRACTAgglomeration of an area is often caused by the conurbation of an area which is influenced by the development of housing and settlement areas in an area so that there is a need for directions related to land use and control of housing development and settlement areas, especially those in cross-district / municipal areas in Kalimantan Province. East. The purpose of this research is that there is no difference in the concept of urban spatial development and settlements in the cross-regency / municipal area, and that more detailed utilization and control plans can be realized, namely quality and sustainable housing and settlement areas. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods, sourced from secondary data and primary data. The directions for the integrated use and control of housing development and settlement areas across regencies / municipalities are regulated in a zoning regulation which is divided into two designations, namely areas designated for urban settlements and areas designated for rural settlements. Each of these regulations regulates housing development licensing, building intensity, supporting facilities and infrastructure and mass transportation modes, development of other facilities and prohibition of land development.Keywords: Agglomeration, Conurbation and Housing Inter-regional settlements.

This study aims to determine the influence of price earnings ratio, debt to equity ratio, dividend payout ratio and firm size on firm value at LQ 45 company in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods and uses secondary data as a source of data. This research uses purposive sampling technique and has 96 company samples. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that Price Earnings Ratio and Dividend Payout Ratio has a significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile, the variable Debt to Equity Ratio and Firm Size do not affect on firm value.

<p>This study aims to examine the effect of tax expenses, foreign ownership on transfer pricing decisions. This study employs quantitative methods. This study's data type is secondary data from the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2019. Data were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange's official website at http: //www.idx.co.id. Sampling was conducted by purposive sampling technique with a final sample of 30 observations. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis with panel data. This study concludes that tax expenses and intangible assets are positively associated with transfer pricing decisions, while foreign ownership is not associated with transfer pricing decisions. This study indicates that Indonesia's Tax Authority needs to exercise tighter supervision on MNCs with intangible assets.</p>

The aims of this study is to find out : (1) what the character of problematic debtorts of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), Tbk Padang Branch Office, (2) what the factors that cause bad credit of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), Tbk Padang Branch Office, (3) how credit rsik management of housing loans at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), Tbk Padang Branch Office. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. This study using by purposive sampling, while the source and some information through in-depth interviews or in-depth interviews and direct observations to the object of the researcher. Secondary data that supports this research are obtained from documents available at the research site. To test the validity of the data used source triangulation. The results showed that the debtor's character could be seen from the 5C analysis. The factors that cause non-performing loans are internal and external factors. Even though there is a problematic debtor character that causes bad credit on KPR, in this case BTN Padang Branch Office has been good at minimizing this, there is a good flow of risk management analysis. In order to identify risks and implement the checklist, you will be able to review the risks of applying qualitative and quantitative methods. The emergence of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in China at the end of 2019 has caused a large international outbreak that threatens public health. COVID-19 is a new type of virus that has not been previously identified in humans. This study aims to determine whether this virus affects the public in consuming halal food products and adopting a healthy lifestyle. Islam itself has introduced the terms halal and haram where when this is not prioritized it will cause harm to human health. This study uses descriptive-quantitative methods, with data collection techniques using primary data sourced from a questionnaire with a total of 101 respondents through purposive random sampling technique with the SPSS program and secondary data sourced from literature studies as a theoretical reinforcement in finding a solution that can answer the problem. research written. Our results show that there is an increase in awareness of the halal label and the tendency to consume halal food after the occurrence of COVID-19. In order to realize the SDG's goals, it is necessary to increase public awareness of the halal lifestyle and be strengthened by the results of the survey that has been conducted, we recommend a system that is implemented in 3 ways, namely regulation, education, and literacy (REL). The initiative is intended to maintain and increase public awareness of consuming halal food products so as to accelerate the growth of the halal industry in Indonesia.

<p>Despite growing of internet users and digitalizing economy as result of Industry Revolution 4.0, Indonesia experiences with digital divide in which young women are still left behind in the digital economy. To address the issue, affirmative action in accessing skills development and labour market are crucial. The aim of the study is observing whether affirmative action for women exist and it helps to address the issue. The paper uses mixed qualitative and quantitative methods in which primary and secondary data collected respectively through interview, and online survey as well as literature review. The study argues that the affirmative action will not be adequate to address gender inequality in the digital economy, unless integrated approaches through capacity building and women engagement are in place. The paper concludes that the affirmative action is only effective if the intervention integrated with skills development and women engagement at various level of process for policy formulation and its implementation.  </p>
