The purpose of this research is to find mathematical concepts in the cultural heritage of songket cloth and how to apply them as a medium for learning mathematics in junior high schools. The results of this study can be used as a reference for junior high school teachers to choose culture-based learning media related to student life, especially in Lombok. This research is an ethnomathematical research with the research method used is a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. The research was conducted in September, October, and November 2021 in Sukarara village, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The subjects in this study were craft works in the form of songket cloth and songket weavers who were active in the village of Sukarara which consisted of three weavers. Data were collected by documentation, document observation, and interviews. The documents obtained were then analyzed related to the content of the mathematical concepts contained therein. The conclusion of this study is that the quality of mathematics learning can be improved by using the traditional songket subahnale cloth as a medium or learning aid. Some mathematical concepts that can be learned with songket subahnale as the medium are congruence, similarity, perimeter of flat shapes, area of flat shapes, folding symmetry, comparisons, pattern tracing. Songket fabrics that can be used as media are songket subahnale woven fabrics with geometric motifs such as diamond motifs, rang-rang motifs, and hexagons

This study aims to describe the sociomatematical norms that are owned by students when learning mathematics in class. The subjects of this study were students of class VII-A Jakarta 113 Junior High School. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. This research uses sociomatematical norms questionnaire and interview. Based on the results of the study, there were 9 students who had very good sociomatematical norms categories with a total percentage of indicators of 81% and there were 14 students who had good sociomatematical norms categories with a total percentage of indicators of 72%. The results showed that very good sociomatematical norms owned by students would affect the high results obtained by students in mathematics learning and good sociomatematical norms would affect the moderate and low results obtained by students in learning mathematics.

In the 2019 survey, 82.2% of teachers never participated in media training, especially learning media based on geogebra technology. Meanwhile, 92.8% of teachers stated that mathematics requires learning media. The low quality of education in NTB requires special attention from both the government and the private sector, so it is important to conduct technology-based learning media training in order to improve the quality of education, especially improving the quality of teachers. The training was carried out using offline and online methods for two days, 19 and 20 August 2021 at SMPN 16 Mataram. The training was attended by 22 participants from junior high school mathematics teachers in the city of Mataram. In the implementation of the training, an evaluation was carried out using questionnaires and observations. The conclusions from the results of the service were as follows: Geogebra training as a medium for learning mathematics for SMP teachers in the city of Mataram in 2021 received a very good response and was well received by the teachers. Geogebra training as a medium for learning mathematics for junior high school teachers in the city of Mataram in 2021 is very in line with what is expected by mathematics teachers in the City of Mataram and increases teacher competence in the context of applying technology in learning to develop technology-based mathematics learning media.

This study titled as The Effect of Disposition on Student Mathematics Learning Achievement in Medan State 28 Junior High School. In this study, disposition is an independent variable and achievement in mathematics learning is a dependent variable. Mathematical disposition is a change of student’s tendency in assuming and behaving toward mathematics, also their act when learning mathematics. For example, when students can solve non-routine problems, their behavior and assumption of mathematics as a student become more positive. The more mathematical concepts understood, the more students convinced that mathematics can be mastered. Based on theory, there are many factors that influence student's achievement in mathematics learning. In this study, researcher only took disposition factor. This research took place at Medan State 28 Junior High School which located at Karya Bersama St. No. 17 Medan Johor. The method of this study is a quantitative method with all of VIII class students which amount to 273 students and divided into 8 (eight) study groups. The data obtained by giving a questionnaire consisting of 19 statements. The data then analyzed by using simple linear regression analysis. The data analysis was performed by using SPSS 21 software for Windows. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of disposition on students' achievement in mathematics learning or in other words, students' achievements in mathematics learning are influenced by the disposition attitudes that students have in mathematics learning. The influence occurs in the disposition of achievement in mathematics learning is positive, that is equal to 6.6%.Keywords: Disposition, Mathematics Learning Achievement.

Mathematics is used in all aspects of life and emphasizes the activities of reasoning. Mathematics had related to our daily activities and can identify the cultural point of view. Ethnomathematics include mathematical ideas develop by cultures. The aim of this research is ethnomathematics practiced by the community especially in traditional wayang art in Surakarta that can be used as a source of learning mathematics in junior high school. This research used descriptive qualitative research whichdata collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity used triangulation. The research procedure includes several stages, namely data collection, data selection, data analysis, drawing conclusions, and preparation of research reports. The result of the research showed that traditional wayang art performance in Surakarta contained ethnomathematics can be used as a source of learning mathematics in junior high school such as 1) modulo 9, 2) geometry of space, 3) even odd number, 4) rectangle, and 5) circle.

Pemahaman Konseptual Matematis (PKM)  memiliki peran penting karena dengan kemampuan ini siswa mudah dalam membangun hubungan untuk memahamai ide dan konsep baru. Kemampuan PKM ini dapat ditumbuh-kembangkan melalui pembelajaran di kelas. Untuk mencapai kecakapan tersebut, pembelajaran perlu memperhatikan keberagaman siswa karena pembelajaran yang mengakomodasi keberagaman menjadi lebih efektif, efesien, dan menarik. Keberagam tersebut dapat berupa Gender (G), Kemampuan Awal Matematika (KAM) dan Gaya Belajar Matematis (GBM) siswa. Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengakomodir keberagaman ialah pembelajaran pendekatan Rigorous Mathematical Thinking (RMT). Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan PKM siswa SMP yang memperoleh pembelajaran pendekatan RMT ditinjau dari : a). Gender, b). KAM siswa, dan c). GBM siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen pada siswa SMP di salah satu sekolah di Bandung. Salah satu hasil yang penting adalah dengan pembelajaran ini menjadikan siswa dengan KAM sedang dan rendah dapat mencapai kemampuan yang baik. The Effect of Rigorous Mathematical Thinking (RMT) Learning Approach On Students’ Understanding of Mathematical Concepts AbstractAn understanding of mathematical concepts (PKM) has an important role because with this ability students are easy in building relationships to understand new ideas and concepts. The ability of PKM can be grown-developed through learning in the classroom. To achieve these skills, learning needs to pay attention to the diversity of students because learning that accommodates diversity becomes more effective, efficient, and engaging. Such diversity can be Gender (G), An initial mathematical ability (KAM) and students’ mathematics learning styles (GBM). One approach to learning that accommodates diversity is the Rigorous Mathematical Thinking (RMT) learning approach. This article aims to examine the ability of junior high school students who have learned RMT approach in terms of: a). Gender, b). students’ KAM, and c). students’ GBM. This research is an experimental research on junior high school students in one school in Bandung. One important result is that this learning engages students with medium and low of KAM able to achieve good abilities.

The innovative and fun mathemathics learning are preferred by students. Innovative and fun learning will dissepear views of mathematics that difficult and boring. Thus, it can decreases students anxiety and fresult of learning will increase. The purpose of this study was to dtermine the relationship between mathematics learning anxiety on student result in mathematics subjects at Junior High School Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang. The research used correlation method with a quantitative approach for this study. The results showed that there was a correlation between the anxiety of learning mathematics on student result in mathematics subjects in class VIII-A at Junior High School Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang. It can be evidenced by the correlation coefficient or calculated R value of 0,445 > from the R table value of 0,3610. While the coefficient of determination or the magnitude of the contribution of the influence of variable X on variable Y is 0,198 or equal to 19,8% an the equation Y =70,244 – 0,563X.

<p>One of the objectives of learning mathematics is to develop students' understanding of mathematical concepts to be able to solve math problems. In mathematics learning, understanding concepts is very important because by understanding concepts students can learn higher order thinking skills. However, through a test at the observation stage, the researchers found that students had difficulty understanding mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study was to see whether the application of the Numbered Heads Together method influences students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. The research was conducted on 32 seventh grade students at Rantepao Christian Junior High School using qualitative descriptive research. Data sources in this study include student work results, mentor observation sheets, tests, and researcher reflection journals. The results of the study show that the application of the Numbered Heads Together method can help develop students' understanding of the mathematical concept.</p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: </strong>Salah satu tujuan dari pembelajaran Matematika adalah mengembangkan pemahaman konsep matematik siswa untuk dapat menyelesaikan masalah Matematika. Dalam pembelajaran Matematika, memahami konsep sangat penting karena dengan memahami konsep Matematika siswa dapat mempelajari ketrampilan berpikir yang lebih tinggi. Namun, melalui test pada tahap observasi, peneliti menemukan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep Matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat dampak penerapan metode Numbered Heads Together terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 32 siswa kelas VII di SMP Kristen Rantepao dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini antara lain: hasil pekerjaan siswa, lembar observasi mentor, tes, dan jurnal refleksi peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Numbered Heads Together dapat membantu mengembangkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.</p>

In mathematics learning using compurter is needed. Computer-Assisted Mathematics is considered necessary in helping students to understand the lessons. Usingcomputers as a medium let the students understand the materials given,of course requires the role of teachers. Therefore it is necessary to conduct training for teachers with the aim of guiding the teachers to implement the learning process in assistance of computers to understand the materials that are difficult for students.The targets of this activity are: (1) To obtain the description of the quality of junior mathematics teachers in Computer-Assisted Mathematics (2) To increase students' interest in learning mathematics and students' understanding of the correct mathematical concepts related to materials which are abstract (3) To increase the use of Computer-Assisted media in learning mathematics. The targets of this activity are junior high school mathematics teachers in the district of Central Tomohon.Based on the results of observation and evaluation on the implementation of this activity, ofthe computer-assisted mathematics training obtained the following results: First, teachers have high enthusiasm in learning about thecomputer-assisted mathematics. Second, teachers can use computer aids in the form of mathematical software such as: (1) Geometer's Sketchpad in teachinggeometry,that is to draw the right kind of triangle and prove Pythagoras theorem. (2) Geogebra in teaching geometric transformation (reflection, rotation, dilation) and seeking solutions of SPLDV and SPTLDV. (3) Yenka to teach the matters of mathematical models. (4) Macromedia Flash products inlearningmathematics especially about planes. Overall, computer-assisted mathematics training activities, in the form of utilizing mathematics softwares, provides satisfaction for the participants. In addition, the highly perceived benefit is that teachers can use the software that has been studied in computer-assisted mathematics training to facilitate the students in understanding the concept of mathematics appropriately. Keywords: Workshops, Computer-Assisted Mathematics

Mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects in the junior high school education unit. The presentation of Mathematics learning is not supported by creative learning media that utilize the latest technology. The challenge of teachers facing the 4.0 revolution, namely junior high school teachers must be able to utilize technology in learning in addition to varying interactive learning models. The objectives of this training are (1) to introduce mathematics teachers to the use of Animated Chalkboard that can be used as learning media, (2) to improve the ability of Mathematics teachers to create Mathematics learning media using Animation Chalkboard, (3) to produce Mathematics learning media products Middle school uploaded via social media youtube. The training for Pekalongan City Middle School Mathematics teachers was held for three months. The methods used in this activity are (1) Socialization of the use of Animated Whiteboards as a medium of Mathematics learning, (2) assistance in making Mathematics learning media using Animated Whiteboards, (3) evaluation of instructional media products and training activities. The results obtained are an increase in the ability of teachers to create Mathematics learning media using Animation Chalkboards and increase learning media products uploaded to YouTube that can be utilized by Junior High School Mathematics teachers in learning. The product produced is Mathematics learning media that has been uploaded on YouTube social media.

WORKSHOP OF STUDENT WORKSHEET COMPILATION FOR MATHEMATICS TEACHERS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN TELUKJAMBE, KARAWANG. The majority of math teachers use Student Worksheet (LKS) traded by the publisher’s distributor. The contents of LKS are less interesting and innovative. LKS does not help the participants to collect the material and learn their interest in mathematics learning. None or steps in the LKS which allows participants to discuss the concepts they are studying. According to the theory of constructivism a learner in learning must be able to mengkontruksi knowledge to understand a material. On that basis, we prepare training on the preparation of LKS. Activities undertaken through socialization with methods that in this devotion program is a method of lectures and exercises supported by discussion and question and answer. Output target after the implementation of this Program is the increase of the ability of Junior High School teachers who teach in class VII in preparing the LKS as well as the product of LKS.
