Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, salah satunya internet (interconnection networking). Informasi berupa data pribadi menjadi acuan dalam penggunaan aplikasi berbasis internet seperti e-commerce, e-health, e-payment, serta perkembangan cloud computing (ruang penyimpanan data seperti google drive, iCloud, Youtube). Privasi data pribadi merupakan hal penting karena menyangkut harga diri dan kebebasan berekspresi seseorang. Perlindungan privasi data pribadi jika tidak diatur dalam suatu peraturan perundang-undangan dapat mengakibatkan kerugian bagi seseorang atas tersebarnya suatu informasi pribadi. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendisukusikan konsep perlindungan privasi data pribadi serta pengaturannya dalam perspektif perbandingan hukum. Kajian ini menggunakan penelitian hukum normatif yang meneliti dan menganalisis sumber-sumber hukum. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa konsep perlindungan hak privasi merupakan hak penuh seseorang dan pemenuhannya tidak didasarkan pada hak orang lain, tetapi hak tersebut dapat hilang apabila dikehendaki oleh pemiliknya untuk mempublikasikan informasi yang bersifat pribadi kepada publik dan seseorang berhak untuk tidak membagikan semua informasi mengenai pribadinya dalam kehidupan sosial. Ketiadaan hukum yang mengatur secara komprehensif perlindungan privasi atas data pribadi di Indonesia dapat meningkatkan potensi pelanggaran terhadap hak konstitusional warga negara atas perlindungan privasi data pribadi. The development of information and communication technology, which one is the internet (interconnection networking). Personal data becomes a reference in the use of internet-based applications such as e-commerce, e-health, e-payment, and the development of cloud computing (data storage space such as Google Drive, iCloud, Youtube). The privacy of personal data is very important because it involves the freedom of expression and dignity of each individual. Data privacy protection shall be stipulated under the national law, if it is not, it may harm personal information that leads to any loss of someone. This paper aims to discuss the concept of privacy protection of personal data and legal arrangements from the perspective of comparative law. This article is normative legal research that examines and analyzes legal sources. The study results show that the privacy protection concept of personal data is a person rights and applied not by the others, but the rights can be lost if that person publish private information to the public and it’s a rights to does not share all information about his personality in social life. The absence of a comprehensive law governing privacy protection for personal data as a constitutional right can increase the potential of violations in Indonesia.

Abstract Cloud computing is a new way of computing and storage. Users do not need to master professional skills, but can enjoy convenient network services as long as they pay according to their own needs. When we use cloud services, we need to upload data to cloud servers. As the cloud is an open environment, it is easy for attackers to use cloud computing to conduct excessive computational analysis on big data, which is bound to infringe on others’ privacy. In this process, we inevitably face the challenge of data security. How to ensure data privacy security in the cloud environment has become an urgent problem to be solved. This paper studies the big data security privacy protection based on cloud computing platform. This paper starts from two aspects: implicit security mechanism and display security mechanism (encryption mechanism), so as to protect the security privacy of cloud big data platform in data storage and data computing processing.

With the features of decentralization and trustlessness and through distributed data storage, point-to-point transmission, and encryption algorithms, blockchain has shed new light on the security and protection of medical data, and it can resolve the contradiction between data sharing and privacy protection with proper security strategies. In this paper, we integrate the strengths of both blockchain and cloud computing and build the privacy protection scheme for medical data based on blockchain and cloud computing. This scheme introduces cloud computing and provides services to blockchain nodes with cloud server computing; meanwhile, it collects, analyzes, processes, and maintains medical data in the identity authentication interface and solves the insufficient computing abilities of some nodes in blockchain so as to verify the authenticity and reliability of data. The simulation experiment proves that the proposed scheme is effective. It can achieve the secure protection and integrity verification of medical data and address the problems of high computing complexity, data sharing, and privacy protection.

Pasadena City Public Schools discovered that it had sold several computers containing the names and Social Security numbers of employees as surplus. Stephens Public Schools learned that personal information about students at one of its middle schools was lost when a bag containing a thumb drive was stolen. Also, Woodlands Public Schools accidentally exposed employee personal data on a public Web site for a short period of time. How should each of the institutes react?

In the era of the Internet of Things (IoT), drug developers can potentially access a wealth of real-world, participant-generated data that enable better insights and streamlined clinical trial processes. Protection of confidential data is of primary interest when it comes to health data, as medical condition influences daily, professional, and social life. Current approaches in digital trials entail that private user data are provisioned to the trial investigator that is considered a trusted party. The aim of this paper is to present the technical requirements and the research challenges to secure the flow and control of personal data and to protect the interests of all the involved parties during the first phases of a clinical trial, namely the characterization of the potential patients and their possible recruitment. The proposed architecture will let the individuals keep their data private during these phases while providing a useful sketch of their data to the investigator. Proof-of-concept implementations are evaluated in terms of performances achieved in real-world environments.


Cloud Computing is a very viable data storage structure where the users can store and access the data from anywhere. Cloud computing use is increasing at a very rapid pace nowadays. But as cloud allows us data accessibility quite easily data security is a major concern and is an emerging area of study. Other issues related to cloud computing are data privacy and internet dependency. On the other cloud computing also has wide range of benefits over traditional storage and accessibility environment such as scalability, flexibility and resource utilization. We have worked in the area of mobile cloud computing to analyse and solve the problems of anomaly attacks. Our work focuses on preventing the adaptive anomaly attacks and some other security issues of cloud computing

The novel advances in the field of Information Technology presented the people pleasure, luxuries and ease. One of the latest expansions in the Information Technology (IT) industry is Cloud Computing, a technology that uses the internet for storage and access of data. It is also known as on-demand computing. The end user can access personal data and applications anywhere any time with a device having internet. Cloud Computing has gained an enormous attention but it results in the issues of data security and privacy as the data is scattered on different machines in different places across the globe which is a serious threat to the technology. It has many advantages like flexibility, efficiency and scalability but many of the companies are hesitant to invest in it due to privacy concerns. In this chapter, the objective is to review the privacy and security issues in cloud storage of Big Data and to enhance the security in cloud environment so that end users can enjoy a trustworthy and reliable data storage and access.

The use of Cloud Computing in the mobile networks offer more advantages and possibilities to the mobile users such as storing, downloading and making calculation on data on demand and its offer more resources to these users such as the storage resources and calculation power. So, Mobile Cloud Computing allows users to fully utilize mobile technologies to store, to download, share and retrieve their personal data anywhere and anytime. As many recent researches show, the main problem of fully expansion and use of mobile cloud computing is security, and it's because the increasing flows and data circulation through internet that many security problems emerged and sparked the interest of the attackers. To face all this security problems, we propose in this paper an authentication and confidentiality scheme based on homomorphic encryption, and also a recovery mechanism to secure access for mobile users to the remote multi cloud servers. We also provide an implementation of our framework to demonstrate its robustness and efficiently, and a security analysis.

Purpose To overcome the limitations of purely statistical approaches to data protection, the purpose of this paper is to propose Semantic Disclosure Control (SeDC): an inherently semantic privacy protection paradigm that, by relying on state of the art semantic technologies, rethinks privacy and data protection in terms of the meaning of the data. Design/methodology/approach The need for data protection mechanisms able to manage data from a semantic perspective is discussed and the limitations of statistical approaches are highlighted. Then, SeDC is presented by detailing how it can be enforced to detect and protect sensitive data. Findings So far, data privacy has been tackled from a statistical perspective; that is, available solutions focus just on the distribution of the data values. This contrasts with the semantic way by which humans understand and manage (sensitive) data. As a result, current solutions present limitations both in preventing disclosure risks and in preserving the semantics (utility) of the protected data. Practical implications SeDC captures more general, realistic and intuitive notions of privacy and information disclosure than purely statistical methods. As a result, it is better suited to protect heterogenous and unstructured data, which are the most common in current data release scenarios. Moreover, SeDC preserves the semantics of the protected data better than statistical approaches, which is crucial when using protected data for research. Social implications Individuals are increasingly aware of the privacy threats that the uncontrolled collection and exploitation of their personal data may produce. In this respect, SeDC offers an intuitive notion of privacy protection that users can easily understand. It also naturally captures the (non-quantitative) privacy notions stated in current legislations on personal data protection. Originality/value On the contrary to statistical approaches to data protection, SeDC assesses disclosure risks and enforces data protection from a semantic perspective. As a result, it offers more general, intuitive, robust and utility-preserving protection of data, regardless their type and structure.

This paper aims to study the protection of data privacy in news crowdfunding in the era of artificial intelligence. This paper respectively quotes the encryption algorithm of artificial intelligence data protection and the BP neural network prediction model to analyze the data privacy protection in news crowdfunding in the artificial intelligence era. Finally, this paper also combines the questionnaire survey method to understand the public’s awareness of privacy. The results of this paper show that artificial intelligence can promote personal data awareness and privacy, improve personal data and privacy measures and methods, and improve the effectiveness and level of privacy and privacy. In the analysis, the survey found that male college students only have 81.1% of the cognition of personal trait information, only 78.5% of network trace information, and only 78.3% of female college students’ cognition of personal credit.
