ABSTRACT Introduction. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of the students of the Al-Muhsinin Islamic Boarding School in Koto Petai Village to access, evaluate, and use information on the kitab kuning content with literacy standards of the International Federation of Library Association and Institutions (IFLA).Data Collection Method. To collect precise and accurate data, the researcher used qualitative research. The method of determining the subject was done by purposive sampling, the data collection methods used were the interview method, the observation method and the documentation method.Analysis Data. Data analysis was used, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.Results and Discussions. The results of this study are: The ability of the Santri at the Al-Muhsinin Islamic Boarding School of the Koto Petai Village in Accessing Information on the Kitab Kuning is quite good, this can be seen from the information obtained from discussions with teachers and clerics and also with friends. and chosen to be applicable in everyday life. The ability of the Santri at the Al-Muhsinin Islamic Boarding School of Koto Petai Village in Evaluating Information on the Kitab Kuning is quite good, it can be seen that to get clear information each person has different versions, some select and sort the information first and some are direct use the information. It depends on each person how to get the information. The ability of the Santri at Al-Muhsinin Koto Petai Islamic Boarding School in using the Kitab Kuning information is not good. It can be seen that in using the information obtained by the informants they have not applied or applied it and in communicating information to other parties, the informants also rarely communicate the information they know to other parties. This research aimed to describe (1) the use of Indonesian language as the first language in terms of sentence based on the content and structure of children in the Balinese ethnic families and (2) the constraints faced by the Balinese ethnic families in Banjar Bernasi in using the Indonesian language as the first language of their children. The subject of this research was the Balinese family in Banjar Bernasi who used the Indonesian language as the first language of their children. The object of this research was the use of Indonesian language as the first language of children in the Balinese family ethnic in Banjar Bernasi and the constraints faced by the family in Banjar Bernasi in using the Indonesian language as the first language of their children. The data collection methods used were observation method, interview, and recording. There were several steps in analyzing the data, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that (1) the use of Indonesian language as the first language of children in the Balinese ethnic families in Banjar Bernasi in terms of sentence based on the content and structure could be declared that children on the primary school were able to use the sentence well. (2) There was no constraint felt by parents in teaching the Indonesian language to their children. That was because the children had already been using the Indonesian language as a mother language start from the baby. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that children were able to use the Indonesian language well in terms of sentences based on the content and structure. Therefore, it is suggested to parents to always teach their children to speak well so that children are able to communicate by using the Indonesian language effectively.

It feels familiar to us with one of the Arabic subjects. Moreover, Arabic learning has existed at the school level from elementary to tertiary education. Arabic learning must stand and cannot be separated from several kinds of language skills, such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing. However, apart from the four language skills, we must pay attention to one of the important aspects of language and this is also not separated because without this aspect, language will not be organized. These important aspects are the nahwu rules that we must learn and cannot be separated from the four skills of Arabic. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the use of the spinning wheel media was in learning Arabic, especially in the subject of qawaid nahwu. Data collection methods used observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The approach used is quantitative with the type of research Quasi Experimental One Group Pretest Posttest. The result of this research is that the use of the spnning wheel media can improve the qawaid nahwu learning process in the seventh grade training of the students of the Darul Qur'an Wal Islamic Boarding School, Wonosari, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta.

This research are to determine: (1) the implementation of the innovative educational games method in Islamic Civilization History lessons, (2) the implementation of the media of a thousand nails in Islamic Civilization Studies lessons, and (3) the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the innovative use of the educational games method with the media of a thousand nails in the Fiqh lesson. The research method used is qualitative research, data collection is carried out in natural conditions and using data collection methods, namely: interview method, observation method, documentation method. The findings of the research show: (1) the implementation of the educational games innovation method in the Fiqh lesson is running well because it is driven by the creativity of the teacher by paying attention to the characteristics of the students, (2) the innovation of the implementation of learning using the media of a thousand nails is carried out by the teacher starting from planning, implementation to conclusions learning, and (3) the supporting factor for learning is the presence of media, namely the media of a thousand nails, while the inhibiting factor is the limited time.

The research aimed to investigate the event of Pangung Kahanan and its cultural strategy amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in the research was the Sociology of Art approach, focusing on the event and artwork productions during the three editions of Panggung Kahanan. The data were collected from the interviews with the artists involved in Panggung Kahanan and the committee/team of Panggung Kahanan. The data collection methods used in the research were observation and in-depth interviews. The observation method covered the data related to the production of Panggung Kahanan event. The in-depth interview method covered the data related to the concept of the Panggung Kahanan event. The analytical method used in the research was to investigate how far Panggung Kahanan impacted the art ecosystem in Central Java and what kind of cultural strategy was applied for the resilience of Indonesian art and culture amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. The research showed that Panggung Kahanan could model an art and cultural event amidst social distancing and strict health protocol. Amidst the pandemic, preserving this kind of cultural strategy becomes essential.

<p style="direction: ltr;" dir="RTL">This study aims to determine the strategies used by superior students and less superior students and then the similarities and differences between each group of students in the use of strategies. This research uses a qualitative descriptive field approach. Data collection method is based on (1) authentication method (2) questionnaire method (3) interview method. Data analysis for this study was based on the Mehlis and Hubermin methods, including four steps: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) extraction or extraction. Therefore, this study is used to test the validity of data by triangulation by source and triangulation by data collection methods. The results of this study are: (1) The strategies used by superior students are social strategies, supra-cognitive strategies and cognitive strategies, (2) Strategies used in students who are less superior are social strategies, reminding strategies and supra-cognitive strategies. . However, the difference in strategy use is in the memorial strategy, cognitive strategy, supra-cognitive strategy and impact strategy.</p>

This study aims to describe the pronunciation errors of vocabulary and the factors causing the pronunciation errors of vocabulary that are read by blind students at MAN 2 Klaten. The method used for this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection methods used by researchers to access the data required in the writing of this study are the observation method, the interview method, and the documentation method. From this research, it is known that some of the mistakes made by students include errors in ibdal, hadzf, and idhafah. The factors causing the mispronunciation of vocabulary that are read by blind students are 1) The difference between the two languages in the al-letter makhariju; 2) Students cannot see the teacher who gives examples of vocabulary pronunciation; 3) A hearing mechanism that differentiates sound pronunciation; 4) Blind students do not know the meaning of vocabulary.


This paper means to elaborate phatic functions and language dignity of the Javanese culture-based society in Indonesia by using the Pragmatic perspective. The unclear rules of language functions, including the rules of Indonesian phatic functions, and the incomplete descriptions of language dignity will result in improper development of the language . The case seemingly happened in the Indonesian language including its dialects and vernaculars. Therefore, the researcher conducted this research to overcome this matter. There were two data collection methods used in this study, namely the observation method and the interview method. Each method was implemented through its basic and advanced techniques. The substantial source of research data was the excerpts of utterances delivered by Javanese speech community members. The process of data collection ended when the researcher finished classifying and typifying data. There were two kinds of data analysis methods used in this study, namely the distributional analysis method and the equivalent analysis method. The research result asserted that there are seven phatic functions found in the Javanese culturebased society in Indonesia, nemely: (1) joking function, (2) complimenting function, (3) apologizing function, (4) rejecting function, (5) avoiding function, (6) affirming function, and (7) reminding functions. Besides, the research result also asserted that the efforts to dignify the Indonesian language cannot stop when the linguistic rules are described in terms of linguistic definitions. The linguistic rules intertwining with the language uses as shown in the pragmatic phenomena need to be promoted continuously

This study aims to find out Arabic language learning method at Pondok Pesntren Al-Mubaarak Wonosobo year lesson 2018/2019. This research uses qualitative type. Located at the Islamic boarding school Al-Mubaarak Wonosobo in January 2019-March 2019. The subject in this study is the Arabic language teacher and students at the Islamic boarding school Al-Mubaarak Wonosobo. Methods of collecting data with observations, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data by using source triangulation. Data analysis starts with data collection, data reduction and data presentation and delivery.The conclusion of this research is the method of learning Arabic at the Islamic boarding school Al-Mubaarak Wonosobo by using method Grammer Translation, method of audio lingual, direct method. and elektik method.

AbstractHumans on earth need social interaction with others. Humans can use more than one language in communication. Thus, the impact that arises when the use of one or more languages is the contact between languages. One obvious form of contact between languages is interference. Interference can occur at all levels of life. As in this study, namely Indonesian Language Interference in Learning PPL Basic Thailand Unhasy Students. This study contains the form of interference that occurs in Thai students who are conducting teaching practices in the classroom. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research that seeks to describe any interference that occurs in the speech of Thai students when teaching practice. Data collection methods in this study are (1) observation techniques, (2) audio-visual recording techniques using CCTV and (3) recording techniques, by recording all data that has been obtained. Whereas the data wetness uses, (1) data triangulation, (2) improvement in perseverance and (3) peer review through discussion. Data analysis techniques in this study are (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation and (4) conclusions. It can be seen that the interference that occurs includes (1) interference in phonological systems, (2) interference in morphological systems and (3) interference in syntactic systems.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) Struktur rupa figur Tualen pada Wayang Kulit Bali Selatan dan Struktur rupa figur Tualen Bali Utara, (2) Penyebab perbedaan bentuk Tualen Bali Utara dengan bentuk Tualen Bali Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriftif kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian dideskripsikan dalam bentuk kata-kata dan gambar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dalang wayang kulit Jro Dalang Gede Sudarma dari Desa Bungkulan dan Jro Dalang Nyoman Warisa dari Desa Tamblang sementara objek penelitian adalah figur wayang Tualen.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan metode dokumentasi kepustakaan. metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis domain dan taksonomi Hasil Penelitian menunjukan (1) Struktur rupa figur Tualen Bali Selatan dan figur Tualen bali Utara dari kepala, badan, kaki memang memiliki beberapa perbedaan pada bentuk dan ornamen (hiasan) yang digunakan, (2) Perbedaan Tualen Bali Utara dengan Tualen Bali Selatan terjadi karena adanya (a) pengaruh Ki Barak terhadap perkembangan kebudayaan di kerajaan Panji, Buleleng; (b) secara mitologi perbedaan visual Tualen Bali Selatan dan Utara mengacu pada asal usul tokoh Tualen yang mengalami hukuman terbakar api oleh Dewa Siwa karena mengganggu semedinya, sehinggaTualen Bali Utara digambarkantanpa jambot atau tak berambut.
