Nowaday, the development of smartphone technology is increasingly popular. Android as one of the operating systems of mobile devices, provides tools and API for Android developers to develop applications. At universities, smartphone use is popular among students. Through smartphones, the use of mobile and web applications is more effective and efficient with the ease of delivery and receipt of information. In this study, the author made a mobile application that contains academic informations that complements the class schedule, the final semester exam schedule, incidental schedules, academic calendar and the latest announcements with push notification as a reminder for students. With this application it is expected that students can access and obtain the latest information anywhere more easily.

Mobile device usage highly increases in last years. Most people use mobile devices to do their computer works like checking e-mail, following social media, surfing on the Web, etc. Also mobile devices let one install new applications on one's devices. Two huge mobile operating systems—Android and iOS—have mobile application markets to offer new applications to users. There are many application categories in mobile application markets. One of them is “Education” category. This study defines what kind of applications in education category there are. All applications in this category were reviewed and analysed with descriptive methods.

Resumen Se presenta una propuesta basada en el desarrollo de una aplicación para dispositivos móviles que cuenten con sistemas operativos Android, integrando dos herramientas de demarcación como es realidad aumentada y geo posicionamiento, contribuyendo a una mejor movilidad de personas invidentes en la cuidad de Tunja; además se presenta el estado del arte de trabajos relacionados con dispositivos móviles y realidad aumentada, dando soporte al desarrollo de actividades en poblaciones con este tipo de discapacidad; la articulación de este tipo de tecnologías permite obtener dispositivos de gran utilidad para su desenvolvimiento autónomo. La solución consta de un primer módulo de geo-referencia el cual se encarga del almacenamiento de los puntos geográficamente importantes sobre rutas seleccionadas para el estudio; un segundo módulo trata de escoger la ruta óptima que la persona puede recorrer, adicionalmente se integra la funcionalidad en realidad aumentada, la cual basándose en los puntos reconocidos estratégicamente y la información recibida sobre esta, ayudara a reconocer los lugares por los que la persona pueda guiarse como referencia durante su trayectoria. Palabras Clave: Realidad Aumentada, dispositivo móvil, discapacidad visual, movilidad, invidentes.   Abstract We present a proposal based on the development of an application for mobile devices that have Android operating systems, integrating two tools demarcation as augmented reality and geo positioning, contributing to the improved mobility of blind people in the city of Tunja, plus it presents the state of art related work and augmented reality mobile devices, supporting the development of activities in people with this type of disability, the articulation of these technologies allows for useful devices for autonomous development . The solution consists of a first geo - reference module which is responsible for storage of important geographical points on routes selected for the study, a second module deals with choosing the optimal path that the person can go, additionally integrates the functionality in augmented reality, which recognized based on the points strategically and information received about this, help you recognize the places that a person can be guided as a reference during his career. The number of users of smart mobile devices is growing every day. Because of the popularity of using mobile devices, it is important for business stakeholders to develop mobile applications targeting all mobile platforms in order to ensure that the number of users is as large as possible. One possible solution is the creation of hybrid mobile applications. These are applications that combine the properties of web and native mobile applications, and their main advantage is compatibility with multiple mobile operating systems. This paper presents the results of very comprehensive experiments that involved the use of various hybrid mobile development frameworks that were tested under different scenarios. Experiments revealed that the performance of hybrid applications in different scenarios varies considerably, although the results of these applications were comparable to those that were achieved in the experiment with the native application.

This paper presents the design and development of a mobile application that uses QR codes for the inventory control of a computer center. This application was developed to support the administration of the computer center of the Multidisciplinary Unit Tizimin, with the aim to reduce costs and time of searching for articles when making an inventory, by leveraging the capabilities of smartphones and tablets. The implementation of the system was carried out using free software.

In establish good relationship with customer, companies need to have a good customer relationship management system as well. The purpose of this study is to explore the level of development of the use of instant messaging applications that are used for mobility of companies in establishing relationships with customers; and to investigate the factors considered important for the success of the mobility of companies in establishing relationships with their customers. In this study it was found that not all instant messaging application has a feature which serves to establish rapport with customers. The results showed some of the determinants of success in the utilization of instant messaging applications is the ease of use, target the most used mobile devices, operating systems most used by users, and mobile application user interface that is used. : Substantial research has been conducted to compare web servers or to compare databases, but very limited research combines the two. Node.js and Golang (Go) are popular platforms for both web and mobile application back-ends, whereas MySQL and Go are among the best open source databases with different characters. Using MySQL and MongoDB as databases, this study aims to compare the performance of Go and Node.js as web applications back-end regarding response time, CPU utilization, and memory usage. To simulate the actual web server workload, the flow of data traffic on the server follows the Poisson distribution. The result shows that the combination of Go and MySQL is superior in CPU utilization and memory usage, while the Node.js and MySQL combination is superior in response time.

Abstract - PT. S.A.M.B (Sarana Abadi Makmur Bersama) is a distributor and logistics company engaged in Modern Trade (MT) for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) in Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi). In addition to distribution, SAMB also provides services for companies seeking logistics and transportation services for modern trade within the designated area. The inventory design system is one of the most important factors in meeting the needs of consumers in a timely and demanding manner. There are still many companies that use desktop applications especially on PT. Sarana Abadi Makmur Bersama. Employees often complain about the performance of the used desktop app. Not all desktop applications can run on all operating systems, while web applications can run in all operating systems as long as there is a browser and an internet connection, it makes it more practical. With web-based asset inventory data item can be used relatively fast, relatively accurate, and relatively more accurate data. . Masih banyak perusahaan-perusahaan yang menggunakan aplikasi desktop terutama pada PT. Sarana Abadi Makmur Bersama. Para karyawan sering mengeluhkan kinerja dari aplikasi desktop yang dipakai. Tidak semua aplikasi desktop dapat berjalan di semua Sistem Operasi, sedangkan aplikasi web dapat berjalan disemua Sistem Operasi selama ada browser dan koneksi internet, itu membuatnya lebih praktis. Dengan berbasis web, data inventori asset barang dapat digunakan relatif cepat, relatif tepat, dan relatif data lebih akurat. . Kata Kunci: Rapid Application Development, Perancangan Website Inventory.

The number of mobile applications has been increasing rapidly in every field of life with the increasing use of smart devices. Smartphones and tablets make our lives easier with their properties and application they include. Minor or major accidents in traffic are always present in the daily life resulting in financial damage and loss of lives. There have been a number of studies done to speed up the processes to be done from the moment an accident happens. This study aims to enable people to perform all of the post-accident processes quickly and accurately with the use of mobile devices. In this way, papers and documents like photographs will be sent to the competent authorities without wasting time and effort. In addition, access to the road assistance needed will be quite easy.
