Abstract The Formation of the Subject in the Anthropocene. Sustainability, Mimesis and Ritual The article argues that we live in the Anthropocene, where human beings become the telluric power and determine the future of the planet. This situation requires a re-evaluation of our understanding of individuality and subjectivity. Human beings must reconsider their self-concepts, their self-images, their planetary role and develop new perspectives on education. Ultimately, this also calls for practices of sustainable development, mimetic learning and ritual arrangements.

AbstractContemporary nature conservation is the subject of serious disputes, with biocentrists emphasising the superiority of the good of nature, while anthropocentrists believe that conservation space should also take account of the good of humankind. The dispute concerns two very important values perceived differently, and not resolvable within any scientifi c framework. The authors postulate a return to the Christian roots of our civilisation. It was God who gave human beings the goods He had created, expecting them to be used in line with His plan. The man who lost God’s plan, destroys the life of nature as well as his own. The postulated solution is the proper shaping of conscience, to condition biodiversity conservation in line with the idea of sustainable development.

Issues associated with the fair distribution of resources for both current and future generations are gaining on more importance as a result of broad discussion worldwide relating to the ecological problems. One of the significant elements of these activities is embodied by family firms; hence, the aim of this chapter is an attempt to indicate what an important role in terms of building the future of family firms is played by the adoption of the principles of sustainable management with the participation of the employees and the owners on the basis of the appropriately designed functions of HRM. The chapter includes introductory elements to the significance and foundations of the concept of sustainable development in order for the subsequent sections to contain information on the subject of utilizing the concept of sustainable management in organizations and the departments of HR. The final section of the chapter constitutes indications referring to the creation of sustainable personnel in family firms as a challenge that is facing the departments of HR.

Colostrum is an important source of nutrients and immune factors for the newborn. The nutrient profile and immunological composition of colostrum vary from species to species. The composition and characteristics of the colostrum of human, cows, and goats have been the subject of several studies. The study of the characteristics of camel colostrum is more recent. In this chapter, the current understanding of the composition of camel colostrum (i.e., carbohydrates, proteins, oligosaccharides, fats, vitamins, and minerals) is reviewed. A complete comparison with other animal colostrum in whole composition and nutritional value of camel colostrum will be investigated in the current chapter. Consequently, the aim of this chapter is to provide an overview of the vast research, underlining the significance of camel colostrum in feeding of human beings and to predict the potential possible role of camel colostrum that can play in the functional products market in the future.

Three Stages

The subject of this paper is social time-the peculiarities of the Past-Present-Future in social processes, and their unbreakable connection. I also focus on the necessity of taking stock of time in human activities and in the societal development. The Past in progress of society signifies the Already-happened which has become the possession of history. This Past exerts an enormous influence on the Present, determining it both directionally and functionally. The Present includes the Present itself, a part of the Past, and some elements of the Future. It represents the only reality for human beings as life is lived in the Present only. The Present creates the material and spiritual preconditions for the Future. Resolution of contemporary global problems is crucial for our Future which runs sequentially in three stages: immediate Future, visible Future and distant Future. All three exert influence on the Present by providing ideological and informational images. Time disciplines our minds and wills, organizes our actions and promotes our cognitions of the Past, the Present and the Future.

This chapter aims to study the trends in sustainable agricultural development in China. The deterioration of the world's climate and environment can be counteracted with the trend of development in internet and technological spheres. How to create value out of scientifically advanced agricultural techniques in China so as to achieve sustainable development in the future is the subject of the author's discussion. This chapter will investigate the development of smart and sustainable agricultural techniques that are being employed in China in integration with the internet and information industry. Further, the sustainable ecological development of agriculture in China in the past two decades will be analyzed. The communication media  as a work of human beings reason from time to time has a very rapidly progress together with the growth and the development of new innovations in the world of the digital technology. This progress is a  certainty that must be received by the human beings who are in a strong mind and conscience awareness that communication media is so sophisticated but remains as a means of the development of the human beings civilization. This awareness gradually can be expected to encourage human beings in order to place themselves appropriately as the subject of the  development of the communication media itself through a rational and an accurate filtering process against negative influences that can threaten with human beings civilization. One of the institutions is threatened with the negative  influences of the communicaton media is family. At first the family gets a respected  position as a socialization agent about the values of life is now experiencing decline of function as well as its role because the majority of the family members are now snared because of the negative influences of the communication  media. The sympathetic as well as the  empathetic atmosphere are used to be the first decoration in the  house and now  is just becoming a nice memory but sadden. The fascination  is too axtreme makes each of the family member of the communication media and finally appear some attitudes as well as behaviours that don,t go with the values of solidarity and the family as well. At last, this problem lets grow as well  as develop without striving for preventive and curative of the various social elements. This meant preparing a show of a destruction of the generation in the future. Therefore, the whole sides are expected to their involvement to be a foremost line in preventing efforts. On the basis, the Paroki St. Yosef Onekore is also moved at giving the basics  correct of comprehension to the parents in the catechetical activities  that the communication media is actually just a means of using it to proclaim the King of God.

To displace a character in time is to depict a character who becomes acutely conscious of his or her status as other, as she or he strives to comprehend and interact with a culture whose mentality is both familiar and different in obvious and subtle ways. Two main types of time travel pose a philosophical distinction between visiting the past with knowledge of the future and trying to inhabit the future with past cultural knowledge, but in either case the unpredictable impact a time traveller may have on another society is always a prominent theme. At the core of Japanese time travel narratives is a contrast between self-interested and eudaimonic life styles as these are reflected by the time traveller's activities. Eudaimonia is a ‘flourishing life’, a life focused on what is valuable for human beings and the grounding of that value in altruistic concern for others. In a study of multimodal narratives belonging to two sets – adaptations of Tsutsui Yasutaka's young adult novella The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Yamazaki Mari's manga series Thermae Romae – this article examines how time travel narratives in anime and live action film affirm that eudaimonic living is always a core value to be nurtured.
