Knowledge Management System (KMS) aims to improve the quality of human resources in an organization by improving communication among employees and to increase skill by transferring knowledge. Knowledge Management System (KMS) is one of many ways to foster a culture of knowledge sharing among individuals and organizations. In this research, the researcher tries to develop a model of knowledge management system suitable for existing condition at the Academic Administration Bureau of Nusantara Tourism Academy. The method used in this research is SSM model framework, while the knowledge is formed using SECI model. The system is designed by using Unified Modeling Language (UML) method. The functional system is tested using using FGD method with success rate of 90% and software quality is tested using MCcall's method with success rate of 87.75%. The result of this research is the Knowledge Management System prototype that can be a solution to share knowledge because it can properly record the employees’ knowledge and experience and can support the employees’ performance at Academic Administration Bureau of Nusantara Tourism Academy.

Sejalan dengan arah perubahan dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi, saat ini penyebaran informasi dilakukan dengan sangat cepat dan teratur. Proses pelaksanaan pekerjaan menjadi lebih sistematis dan dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Begitu juga dalam hal penyebaran ilmu atau pengetahuan yang dimiliki Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Saat ini telah berkembang sistem penyebaran ilmu yang telah dikelola secara teratur. Sistem tersebut dikenal dengan Knowledge Management System (KMS). Unit Donor Darah PMI Kabupaten Tangerang saat ini belum memiliki suatu sistem tata kelola sharing knowledge SDM yang memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan, yang membuat sebagian SDM selalu kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang di hadapinya di lapangan. Untuk itu, Knowledge Management System dapat menjadi solusi dari masalah tersebut. Knowledge Management System dapat membantu terlaksananya program pembelajaran bagi SDM secara lebih mudah karena telah terdokumentasi secara rapi dan teratur. Lebih lanjut, penulis menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) sebagai salah satu alat bantu untuk memodelkan secara visual yang dapat digunakan dalambahasa pemograman yang berorientasi objek dan metode analisis PIECES untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi PMI saat ini dalam pembelajaran SDM. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang tersebar pada Unit Donor Darah PMI Kabupaten Tangerang dapat terindetifikasi, terdokumentasi dan termanfaatkan secara lebih optimal.   Knowledge Management System, Unified Modeling Language (UML), Analisis PIECES, Sharing Knowledge

Technology provides space and challenge for universities to grow, innovate and compete globally. The higher education has long stood as a producer of knowledge. But the problem is that often the knowledge available in higher Education are not well managed. Politeknik Keuangan Negara STAN as an institution of higher education in the Ministry of Finance must undeniably have good knowledge management. Knowledge management has long been used as a system for managing knowledge by combining advances in information technology and organizational cultures. This research will discuss some alternative implementations of knowledge management in PKN STAN through five approaches, the approach function, structure approach, system approach, the approach flow of knowledge and conceptual approaches/SECI formulations. This study is expected to trigger more technical studies in the form of a knowledge management system design. The use of modeling language UML (unified modeling language) is suggested for further technical studies related to the development of knowledge management system at PKN STAN. UML will directly generate knowledge management model that can be immediately implemented.

Sharing knolwedge merupakan komponen penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas. Namun dalam pelaksanaan di Badan Nasional Penempatan dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (BNP2TKI), sharing knowledge menjadi bermasalah ketika yang digunakan masih dilakukan secara manual yaitu dengan bertatap muka dalam pelaksanaannya sehingga, menyebabkan kesulitan bagi pegawai maupun TKI dalam mengimplentasikannya selain itu terdapat redudansi data dalam setiap responnya dan publikasi knowledge yang tidak teratur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan Knowledge Management System (KMS) yang dapat membantu pegawai dan TKI dalam melakukan sharing knowledge agar memperoleh data atau informasi sesuai kebutuhan yaitu dengan menyediakan dokumen, video, berita dan layanan diskusi guna memenuhi kebutuhan KMS. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, untuk pengembangan sistem metode yang digunakan Rapid Application Development (RAD) sedangkan dalam pengimplementasian KMS menggunakan Knowledge Management Process, serta perancangan KMS menggunakan pemodelan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan dalam membangun sistem adalah PHP dan MySQL. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem yang dapat memudahkan sharing knowledge antar pegawai BNP2TKI dan TKI agar mendukung peningkatan kualitas TKI.

Based on the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia – Article 37 of 2009 verse 8 states that a lecturer profession obliges to a minimum of 12 and maximum of 16 teaching credits in every semester according to his/her academic qualifications. Todays, Institute of Information Management and Computer Science (STMIK) Widuri has been applying a sharing knowledge process amid lecturers with the intention to assist them in academic position ladder management. However, problems are found during its implementation. First problem is infrequentTri Dharma practices (three principles of higher education; education, research and contribution to society)and reports being submitted by lecturers; the condition has resulted a statistic of STMIK active lecturers in general to decrease to 41.6%. Lack of information regarding Tri Dharma practices and its administrations known by its lecturers is the one missed to solve; a lecturer does not comprehensively understand what the stages are required in order to administer their academic position ladder. Second issue is there has been no media to facilitate lecturers to spread and share the knowledge and experience with the other fellow lecturers that the process of levelling up their academic tenures or positions become hampered. This means, the slower the process the longer it takes for them to move up to the next academic position ladder. As this is the case, the researchers propose aprototype of knowledge management system (KMS) utilizing SECI methodand gathering data through interviews, observations as well as literature studies. Software used is User Acceptance Test (UAT). Furthermore, the research has come up with a web-based KSM prototype with test percentage result76%; this means the system is accepted and matched the expectation.

The development of science in the era of globalization is happening so quickly. The ability of humans to develop a variety of science (knowledge) is getting better with the tacit and explicit knowledge. From this development both tacit and explicit knowledge can be combined and varied to a Knowledge Management System. PT SCF (Limited) Palembang branch is a company engaged in the field of inspection and certification services. The problem faced by this company is that the process and media for sharing and transferring knowledge between colleagues is still small and not yet entrenched. This condition makes the company less effective in terms of producing and disseminating knowledge to staff quickly and accurately. Documentation of daily activities and routines are not carried out in a planned and integrated manner. Each department carries out its own activities in its own way, for example storing documentation on a CD, as well as a piece of paper. So the authors are interested in analyzing and designing Web Knowledge Management System. The method used is the object analysis and design method. While the tools for modeling using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results obtained are a prototype web Knowledge Management System (KMS) that can be a media of information and knowledge sharing related to employee acceptance and training

Web based knowledge management systems have opened new arrays in the present web based world. This paper proposed a web based knowledge management system (WBKMS) for university libraries that will support the creation, organization, storage, dissemination and utilization of the institutions digital knowledge assets. Existing web based knowledge management systems were surveyed and a model framework was developed keeping in view the prevailing loopholes in the present systems. This research will improve staff professionalism and will help in achieving coordination with other libraries and library users.

<p class="Abstrak">Tenaga kependidikan merupakan barisan terdepan pelayanan administrasi yang dituntut mampu beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap perubahan di lingkungan kerja. Secara rutin Universitas PGRI Madiun melaksanakan kegiatan mutasi, rotasi dan pensiun terhadap tenaga kependidikan. Hal ini berdampak pada banyaknya pengetahuan yang hilang karena dibawa oleh tenaga kependidikan yang dipindah atau sudah pensiun. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa perancangan <em>Knowledge Management System</em> berbasis web untuk mengolah data pengetahuan tenaga kependidikan di Fakultas Teknik Universitas PGRI Madiun. Metodologi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merujuk pada kerangka kerja 10-<em>Step Knowledge Management  Roadmap</em> milik Amrit Tiwana.  Metode perancangan sistem menggunakan pendekatan berorientasi objek dengan <em>tools</em> UML (<em>Unified Modelling Languange</em>). Untuk pengujian kebutuhan fungsioanl sistem menggunakan metode FGD dengan responden tenaga kependidikan fakultas teknik.  Penelitian ini menghasilkan dokumen  rancangan aplikasi KMS yang dapat memberikan rekomendasi bagi lembaga untuk membangun aplikasi KMS di masa depan.</p><p class="Abstrak"> </p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p class="Judul2"><em>Educational staff are at the forefront of the administration which is demanded to be able to quickly change in the work environment. The PGRI Madiun University routinely carries out mutation, rotation and retirement activities for educational staff. This has an impact on the amount of knowledge lost because it is carried by the transferred or retired teaching staff. This study aims to analyze the design of a web-based Knowledge Management System to process the knowledge of educational staff in the Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Madiun. The methodology used in this study refers to Amrit Tiwana's 10-Step Knowledge Management Roadmap. The system design method uses object-oriented approach with UML (Unified Modeling Language) tools.  To test the system functional requirements requirements using FGD method with engineering faculty respondent. This research produces a KMS application design document that can provide recommendations for institutions to build KMS applications in the future.</em></p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

Maintaining the quality of education in higher education is the task of leaders, managers and lecturers who need to be equipped with adequate fields of expertise and knowledge as well as an understanding of quality in essence. One very important role is to maintain the quality of the human resources in it, namely the lecturer whose function is to transfer their scientific fields to students. The profession of lecturers as researchers and teachers who accompany students in transferring knowledge, it is very necessary to continue to hone and develop their knowledge fields by implementing knowledge sharing between fellow lecturers, so that it will provide added value, and will make them as lifelong learners (life-long learning) ). Meanwhile, the application of existing knowledge sharing between lecturers is only non-formal, the discussion is not yet structured, even though it has implemented the formation of a lecturer team for subject grouping, in reality it has not been carried out well. Based on these objectives, the formation of the course grouping team can be assembled properly so as to create an appropriate Knowladge Management System for every lecturer who teaches the course. Lecturers can transfer their fields of expertise and research together, so that it will produce a competent learning curriculum to equip students to take majors in the fifth semester. In this study, a Knowledge Management System with the SECI Model and FGD approaches will be built which will be applied to learning

Knowledge mengenai informasi, pengetahuan, aturan atau prosedur pengembangan karir dosen terkadang tidak sampai pada karyawan dosen ataupun staf lainnya, hal ini dikarenakan staf pada bagian kepangkatan dosen Biro Sumber Daya Manusia tidak selalu berada di tempat kerja dikarenakan ijin, sakit, cuti, perjalanan dinas atau hilangnya knowledge dikarenakanadanya staf yang dirotasi,  staf yang mengundurkan diri atapun pensiun. Knowledge merupakan sumber daya atau aset yang sangat berharga bagi Universitas Mercu Buana, sehingga perlu dijaga dari segala macam sesuatu atau hal yang dapat membuat knowledge ituhilang, tidak terdokumentasikan atau tidak tersampaikan kepada staf atau karyawan dosen, untuk itu diperlukan sistem yaitu knowledge management system,  untuk mengelola knowledge pengembangan karir dosen yang sudah ada dan yang akan datang secara berkesinambungan dan berkelanjutan, tujuan penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengembangkan knownledge management system pengembangan karir dosen dengan SECI model pada Universitas Mercu Buana agar knowledge mengenai pengembangan karir dosen dapat terdokumentasikan dan terdistribusikan kepada karyawan Universitas Mercu Buana.

Abstrak Koperasi Pegawai Badan Urusan Logistik adalah sebuah Koperasi yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa, simpan-pinjam. Knowledge Managment System tersebut, nampaknya sudah menjadi suatu kebutuhan mendasarkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang khususnya kepada karyawan. Knowledge management merupakan usaha untuk meningkatkan knowledge yang berguna dalam koperasi. Knowledge management tidak hanya merupakan pengaturan akan knowldge, namun lebih pada manajemen suatu koperasi dengan fokus khususnya terhadap knowledge, knowledge management dengan sebuah sistem, yang diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi dari kebutuhan aliran knowledge yang tidak dihalangi oleh batasan waktu dan tempat. Penelitian ini akan mengembangkan analisa knowledge management system dan merancang aplikasi dari analisa yang dikembangkan. Metodologi yang digunakan dengan model SECI dan melakukan analisa untuk mendapatkan knowledge management system tersebut. Analisa knowledge management system yang dihasilkan mendukung proses Sosialisasi, Eksternalisasi, Kombinasi, Internalisasi (SECI). Knowledge management system ini dikembangkan sebagai sarana sharing pada karyawan. Knowledge management is not only an arrangement of knowledge but rather the management of a cooperative with a particular focus on knowledge, knowledge management with a system, which is expected to be a solution of the needs of the flow of knowledge that is not hindered by time and space constraints. This research will develop the knowledge management system and design the application of the developed analysis. The methodology used with the SECI model and perform the analysis to obtain the knowledge management system. The analysis of the resulting knowledge management system supports the process of Socialization, Externalization, Combination, Internalization (SECI).
