This research is to study the competencies of teachers and student achievement. Data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data, with PNS teacher participants in the Makassar City Education and Culture Office, as for the sample of 183 teacher respondents. Analysis of the data used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Based on the research results obtained positive and significant competence on the performance of high school teachers in Makassar City, while the evaluation of competencies on student achievement has positive and not significant results on the learning achievement of high school students in Makassar City. Intervening variable test results obtained positive and significant assessment competence on student achievement in high school in Makassar through teacher performance, direct competency complaints against student learning achievement when teacher performance is significant on student learning achievement.

Analisis data dengan uji analisis regresi berganda menggunakan bantuan program Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 25.0 for windows. This study aims to determine the effect of student perceptions of teacher performance and student learning readiness on student achievement at Hidayatullah Bontang High School. The research uses a quantitative approach. The research subjects were 100 students who were selected using total sampling technique. Data collection methods are report cards for learning achievement and a scale for students' perceptions of teacher performance and learning readiness. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 25.0 for windows program. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a significant effect between students' perceptions of teacher performance and learning readiness on high school students' learning achievement with the value obtained by F arithmetic > F tabel (11.059 > 3.09) and p value = 0.000 (p < 0.05) . The influence contribution (R2) is 0.323 (32.3 percent); (2) There is a significant effect of students' perceptions of teacher performance on learning achievement with a coefficient of beta = 0.496, t count > t tabel (3.176 > 1.984) with p value = 0.000, (p < 0.05); (3) there is a significant effect of learning readiness with learning achievement with a coefficient of beta = 0.520, t count > t tabel (2.102 > 1.984) and p value = 0.000 (p < 0.05).

Available research supports a belief that a highquality mathematics education for high school students cannot be accomplished unless a highly qualified mathematics teacher is in the classroom. In the January 2004 issue of the Mathematics Teacher, Robert Reys addressed the shortage of highly qualified teachers. In the February 2004 issue Robert and Barbara Reys provided a summary of the work they are leading in Missouri to recruit persons who have the potential to become highly qualified teachers of mathematics. I have assisted them in that work. The undertaking is important and, as they report, appears to be achieving some short-term success. I believe that the national shortage of high-quality mathematics teachers will not be significantly alleviated, however, until we focus our major effort on the retention side of the issue.

This study aims to study parental attention (X1), mastery of material as a requirement (X2) and jointly with parental attention (X1) and mastery of material related to the suitability of learning outcomes of students of SMAN 4 Kota Sorong (Y). This type of research is quantitative in the form of correlational research. Purposive sampling is a sampling technique used in this study. The results showed that parents' attention and mastery of material had a significant relationship to mathematics learning achievement of Sorong City 4 High School students, namely 63.8% and 47.6%. Together, parental attention and mastery of prerequisite material have a significant influence on mathematics learning achievement of SMAN 4 Sorong City students, amounting to 70.6%.

Among the main causes of low learning achievement in mathematics learning is a delayed behavior to do tasks, commonly called academic procrastination. The objectives of this research are to describe and to explain the causal factors and consequences of academic procrastination in learning mathematics for junior high school students. This research was conducted for more than five months. The research took place at six junior high schools in Madiun Regency. The research approach was a qualitative descriptive. The types of data sources were six mathematics teachers and six students, in-class mathematics learning activities, and documents. The data collection techniques were (1) questionnaire, (2) documentation, (3) passive role observation, and (3) in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed using an interactive model, which was implemented in two stages. They are at the time or during the course of data collection and after the data collection. The results of data analysis show that academic procrastination is caused by several factors. They are assumption that the tasks assigned are not important, too burdensome, and difficult to work, insufficient knowledge, too perfectionist, bad management of learning, lack of self-regulation, stress and fatigue, lack of social support, indiscipline teachers, and inconducive school culture. Academic procrastination, most importantly, leads to low learning achievement.

In teaching, the teacher emphasizes identifying the dominant intelligence and learning styles to improve student achievement. However, exploring interpersonal and linguistic intelligence and its relationship to student achievement is still rarely done. This correlational research was conducted to describe the relationship between interpersonal and linguistic intelligence with high school students' mathematics learning achievement. The samples of this study were students of class XI SMA Budi Dharma Cancar Indonesia (n=30). The data were collected using a questionnaire and the pure grades of the students' midterm exams. The data analysis technique uses Product Moment Correlation as a statistical test tool to test the hypothesis of the relationship between two variables after fulfilling the prerequisite test. The results showed a positive relationship between interpersonal and linguistic intelligence and students' mathematics learning achievement. Although this study was limited to two bits of intelligence, it is essential to note that the findings of this study indicate that the number of intelligence at the dominant level can predict learning achievement in school.

The purpose of this study was to determine the design of LKPD based on the TPS learning model for junior high school students. This research model is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation, but in this study the researchers limited it only to the development stage. (Development). The subjects of this study were six experts consisting of two mathematics education lecturers and one mathematics teacher as a material expert as well as two mathematics education lecturers and one mathematics teacher as a media expert. While the object is LKPD based on TPS learning model. The research instrument used was a learning media questionnaire. Consists of a questionnaire of material experts and media experts. Based on data analysis, the average value obtained by material experts is 4.3 and media experts is 4.4. From these results, it can be stated that the mathematics learning media meets the validity requirements of the learning media with an overall average value of 4.3 including in the Very Good category. Thus, from the validation results it can be stated that the LKPD based on the TPS learning model meets the validity requirements and is declared eligible.
