At present, there are microbiological Bacillus-based products used to preservevaluable micro biota and improving the level of biological soil productivity as wellas sustaining the local environment. The research focuses on discovering how someparticular biological products and autochthonous microorganisms influence theyield capacity of barley grown in the Black-Earth region of Russia. The researchobjectives included a search for autochthonous strains of microorganisms thatimprove resistance to diseases, estimation of how biological products contribute tothe quality of barley seeds, biological products effect on the spread and diseaseresistance and estimation of how biological products enhance the yield capacity ofbarley. The paper describes the results of identification of an autochthonousBacillus strains. PCR diagnostic methods were used to confirm the strain specificorigin of two sample cells extracted from soil (S1 and S2). The study involved theanalysis of micro biota of leached chernozem, which revealed the autochthonousstrain of Bacillus S1 having a germicidal effect. The S1 strain revealed Bacillussubtilis and Bacillus сеreus, while S2 revealed only Bacillus subtilis, as detected bythe method of molecular diagnostics based on using species-specific primers.Biological treatment of the seeds improved their sowing qualities, namely, germination readiness and germination capacity. In addition, it was found out thatsuch treatment improves the resistance to disease affection and spread. Bacillus S1,in particular, reduces the disease affection by 16,5 % and the disease spread 3,5 asmuch. Finally, the experiment demonstrated that biological treatment cancontribute to sustaining healthy environment for the plants and thus increase theiryield capacity.

Production of environmentally friendly cucumber products is one of the important problems of modern vegetable growing. In the current situation, many issues of cucumber technology using the low-volume technology method require adjustment and further improvement. The purpose of the research was to study and assess the effect of combinations of zircon with biofertilizers against the background of the use of biological products on the growth, development, yield and quality of cucumber. The complex treatment of cucumber plants of the F1 Atlet hybrid with biologically active substances (BAS) contributed to an increase in biometric indicators in comparison with the control throughout the entire crop rotation. The period from germination to the beginning of flowering and fruiting decreased, the plant height increased by 7.2–13.2% and the stem diameter by 12.5–17.5%. The yield was significantly influenced by the growth of the leaf area of cucumber plants, which increased in variants with experimental technologies by 5.9–34%. Under the influence of the studied factors, the yield of standard cucumber production increased by 8.0–27.6%. The mass fraction of fruits that do not meet the requirements of the standard was 6.6–8.1%. On the control variant, the output of non-standard products increased to 10%. The highest net income and level of profitability were obtained with the combined use of Zircon with Ecofus, both against the background of the use of biological products (659.3 rubles / m2 or 38.4%) and without them (685.13 rubles / m2 or 40.1%).

According to the legislation of Ukraine, one of the requirements of organic crop production is using organic seeds and organic planting material. High productivity and quality of sowing material for organic production of agricultural products can be obtained only if the plants and soil are optimally provided with nutrients and plants are protected from diseases, pests and weeds. The aim of the work was to study the technologies of protection and nutrition of peas with the use of domestic biological products in organic agrophytocenoses for seed production. The influence of organic technologies for growing peas of the Starter variety (Germany) with the use of complexes of biological preparations of domestic producers on the quantitative and qualitative indicators of seeds (weight of 1000 seeds, germinative energy of seeds, seed germination) is studied. The positive influence of all variants of the use of biological products (combination of pre-sowing treatment of seeds, soil, crop treatment) on the quality of the obtained seed material and its compliance with the requirements of DSTU for reproductive seeds was established. It was shown that the use of biological preparations in organic technologies provides the production of pea seeds with a germination of 94–95% and an increase in the yield of pea seeds at the level of 0.45–0.85 t/ha. It is determined that among the pests common in organic crops of peas, the greatest damage is caused by an insect of a series of hard-winged insects — pea weevil or Bruchus (Bruchus pisorum L.). Moreover, the population of Bruchus increased in crop rotation, located on one common plot without spatial isolation of each field. The main criteria for the production of organic sowing material of legumes, including peas, are compliance with the basic principles of organic production, its ability to provide seeds with high sowing and varietal qualities and the absence of infection and damage by diseases and pests.

The paper presents data on the study of the effectiveness of new biological drugs-the biofungicides Trichozan and Vitariz and biological insecticide against the background of the action and aftereffect of the sideral precursors of long-legged flax. The research was conducted in the Scientific Research Center of the Ivanovo State Agricultural Academy in 2018-2020. The positive effect of the action and aftereffect of the sideral precursors on the productivity of plants and the yield of flax was established. The greatest increases in the yield of straw and seeds were obtained in 2019-2020 when flax was placed after the sideral precursors and the complex use of the biological products Trichozan, Vitariz, and Bioinsecticide. The quality of flax straw improved by 0.5-0,25 sortonomer with the interaction of the complex of biological products and the action of siderates and by 0.25 sortonomer-with the use of biological products for the treatment of seeds and plants against the background of the aftereffect of siderates. The level of profitability for the years increased by 41.9-11.7%, respectively.

The aim of the study was to evaluate emulsion systems prepared on the basis of blended fat in different ratios (watermelon seed oil and mutton tallow) stabilised by orange fibres and xanthan gum. Emulsions were subjected to stability testing by Turbiscan and were assessed in terms of mean droplet size, colour, viscosity, texture, skin hydration and sensory properties. The most stable systems were found to be the ones containing a predominance of mutton tallow in a fat phase. For these emulsions the lowest increase in mean particle size during storage was observed. The study also confirmed the synergistic effect of the thickeners used. The presented emulsions despite favourable physicochemical parameters, did not gain acceptance in sensory evaluation.
